$787 Billion and Only 38% Say Stimulus Plan Will Help Economy

Obama Travels to Denver to Sign Stimulus Into Law and to open the largest Pork Restaurant ever.

Barack Obama’s Pig Roast … isn’t it interesting that Obama had made the comment about lipsticking a pig. We had always wondered with Obama’s, where’s the beef, but we certainly know where the pork is.

Nothing more really needs to be said … $787 Billion and Only 38% Say Stimulus Plan Will Help Economy.

Could you imagine as a private individual forking out this type of money, sacrificing your grand children’s future for 38% chance of victory?

There is a reason why people should be protesting in the streets  when it comes to taxation without representation… “From the Boston Tea Party to your neighborhood pork protest.” Hell, some of us would even see the positive in a politician actually reading the bill first before voting as a form of representation.

No Stimulus … but we got pork. More from the Gateway Pundit.

Obama signs bill and stock market tanks another near 300 point loss.  But let’s blame the loss on automakers rather than this socialist spending bill

Stock market has lost 2000 points since Obama was elected. Change?

UPDATE I: People Rally Against the Porkulus Bill

More from the pork-fest from Hot Air as Michelle Malkin serves up some stimulus-pork barbecue.

Post Presidents Day: Barack “Abe” Obama … “If the hat don’t fit, you must quit!”

OBAMA – LINCOLN COMPARISON, GET REAL!

Vanderbilt_presDay09_Obama_Lincoln

Hat Tip: Vanderbilt ‘09

The main stream media’s fascination to make comparisons between Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln is as disrespectful as it gets to who many believe was the United States greatest President. There is a thing called earning respect, not being handed it. The MSM would have everyone believe that Obama is Lincolnesque. Until you have actually done something other than talk about hope, you are not worthy. An individual is not a great President, leader or man of character because someone says they are, it is because we know they are.

President’s Day 2009 has passed without much fanfare. President Obama sees himself as the new Abraham Lincoln reincarnated. Many of us ordinary folks cannot reconcile that view with reality. A slogan comes to mind: “If the hat don’t fit, you must quit!” He could not fill Lincoln’s shoes either. (Vanderbilt – ‘09)

C-SPAN just recently conducted a survey of the best Presidential leaders in American history. What, Obama was not rated #1 or in the top 5? Blasphemy!

SCARED MONKEYS WELCOMES BLINK34 & TRUE CRIME BLOG … BLINK ON CRIME TO FAMILY

Scared Monkeys is proud to introduce the opening of its newest blog to the Scared Monkeys family, Blink on Crime.com.

Blink on Crime is bold, unique, professional and always working on behalf of law enforcement and victims. Be sure to take part and read the “true crime” analysis and stories having the benefit of inside information unique to the crime story at hand. This is not just about discussing a case … it’s about analyzing them … it’s about solving them.

Many have probably noticed that Blink34 has done several recent excellent true crime posts on Scared Monkeys.com discussing the Caylee Anthony case, Jose Baez, Todd Black and the Vernon Seitz case. It was only a prelude to the Scared Monkeys introduction to its new “True Crime” blog, BLINK ON CRIME.

Blink34 will be the contributing editor for BLINK ON CRIME.COM.

She has a background in PR/Blink Development and a passion for crime sleuthing. Many of you already know her from her days at Web Sleuths. However, we have her now and are very happy for those set of circumstances. Blink34 is now the “True Crime” Monkey.

Blink’s passion and dedication to helping law enforcement and victims of crime is out done by her persistence, professionalism and getting to the bottom of a story. Blink’s ability to dig, gather and attain necessary and related info and assemble contacts further enhances her crime sleuthing skills. Blink’s unique crime writing style is also a breath of fresh air.

The following is a brief and personal account from Blink34 as to why she got involved with crime investigation in the first place. All passions have a beginning.

My participation in research and investigation in MP cases began in Feb 2008, when the son of a long-time business associate and family friend went missing. The horror this family endured, the frantic activity engaged by all to find him, the agony of not knowing where one’s loved one is, haunts me to this day, and molded a new path for me. I learned first hand the blinding cruelty of knowing someone you love is “out there”; the shock and grief when they are finally found if one is fortunate enough, and the knowledge that there is nothing worse than the “not knowing”. I have yet to hear someone that has gone through this nightmare, dubbed “The Lonely Wall” by Mike’s Mom, that regardless of the outcome, would not agree that finding the missing is the best chance of surviving the experience at all.

The way someone you love leaves you, matters. A person’s legacy, no matter how young or old, when their life is taken from them, deserves to be restored.

Blink has a track record of investigating and analyzing crime. Many stories that you may have read about, Blink just might have been somewhere in the back ground providing data and analysis to law enforcement or working with search teams. Some of Blink’s accomplishments, both solo and combined with Investigative research team are as follows:

  • Contributing Research Analyst/ Investigator:
  • Nationwide Investigations: Kevin Gannon and Anthony Duarte, Missing Mens Cases
  • OCSO, FBI, TES: Caylee Anthony Case
  • States Attorney’s Office 9th Circuit, AG Law of Florida: Trust Fund and Charitable Donations misuse and fraud investigation, multiple entities and subjects.
  • Aerial Image Corporation: President, Sean Henady
  • Lubbock Texas Police Dept- Investigative Unit: Ken Wilcox case
  • Medico lethal Death Scene Investigator
  • Minnesota ME Office Gary Peterson:
    Corrie Anderson case

Change You Can Believe In: Stimulus (Pork Spending) Bill Broke 7 Obama Promises … Open & Transparent … NOT!!!

Barack Obama’s Stimulus bill or at the Gateway Pundit refers to it as the “Generational Theft Act” has already broken seven Obama promises previously made by The One. That didn’t take long at all … talk about change you can believe in. So much for open and transparent as a $787 billion stimulus plan was rammed down America’s throat as politicians voting on it were forced to vote without an opportunity to fully read it. By the way, what happened to the public having 5 days to review?

Sweetness and Light has the full story.

7 Broken Promises in Record Time

1. Make government open and transparent.
2. Make it “impossible” for Congressmen to slip in pork barrel projects.
3. Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public. (Even Congressional Republicans shut out.)
4. No more secrecy.
5. Public will have 5 days to look at a bill.
6. You’ll know what’s in it.
7. We will put every pork barrel project online

Remember Obama’s promises where he said that “Sunlight is Best Disinfectent”? It would appear that ever since he took office less than a month ago, we have had nothing but cloudy skis and more bad weather on the horizon.

CHANGE? JUST ANOTHER TYPICAL POLITICIAN BREAKING PROMISES

As The Wall Street Journal reports … Obama’s Rhetoric Is the Real ‘Catastrophe’

President Barack Obama has turned fearmongering into an art form. He has repeatedly raised the specter of another Great Depression. First, he did so to win votes in the November election. He has done so again recently to sway congressional votes for his stimulus package.

What happened to the candidate of hope? Obama’s fear mongering has reached new heights. His comparison of today’s economy to The Great Depression to sway a vote is dangerous. Obama knows damn well that our present day economy, although bad, is not at the levels of what it was under Democrat President Jimmy Carter when we had double digit unemployment, inflation and interest rate. Add fuel costs through the roof, odd/even day gas rationing, Iran, Afghanistan and troubles with the Soviets.
