Change You Can Believe in … Obama Auto Task Farce Owns Foreign Made Cars, Do as We Say Not as We Do

Take a look see what the beautiful Obama people are driving … it isn’t American.

Everyone wonders why Michigan and the big three auto manufacturers are in trouble? Maybe its because no one wants to buy them, including Obama’s Auto Task Force that tells you that you need to buy them. That’s correct, more change you can believe in out of the Obama Administration … The Obama Auto Task force owns foreign imports cars. You just can’t make this stuff up.

We need to bail these companies out, yet Obama’s appointed people buy foreign. However, you, the little people need to buy from the Big 3. One would think that maybe Obama would have his people lead by example? But as Hot Air states the Auto bailout team no fans of American cars.

The vehicles owned by the Obama administration’s auto team could reflect one reason why Detroit’s Big Three automakers are in trouble: The list includes few new American cars.

Among the eight members named Friday to the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry and the 10 senior policy aides who will assist them in their work, two own American models. Add the Treasury Department’s special adviser to the task force and the total jumps to three.

The Detroit News reviewed public records to discover what many of the task force and staff members drove, but information was not available on all of the officials, and records for some states were not complete.

At least two task force members don’t own a car, and there are still two open slots on the 10-member panel that will be filled by the secretaries of labor and commerce, who have not yet been appointed.

The co-chairs of the task force — Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner and White House National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers — both own foreign automobiles.

UPDATE I: The Foundry says … Drove My Chevy to the Levee… but the Levee was dry. Why? Because the Obama auto bail out team all had foreign made vehicles.

Is anyone surprised? I mean look at big mouthed Al Gore and his global warming b.s. and then take a look at his house and compare to George Bush’s house and see who is more energy efficient and who is greener. They are all a bunch of hypocrites. Do as I say not as I do.

They do not care about us, they just want more money in their pockets are our expense and our childrens expense and our grandchildrens expense.

They all make me want to puke.

Just to check the sincerity of this blogger out considering this latest anti Obama blurb, I jumped from this site over to the Drudge Report. Just as I suspected, this latest outrage is straight from the Drudge front page. See, this is how it works. Mr. Drudge rolls out an outrage headline and all the good little robots repeat his faux outrage and we are off talking about the latest outrage rather than how the problem of our dead economy gets fixed.
The people ginning up the outrage have no intention of fixing the economic problems, just of stirring the pot. So on and on it goes, finding things to be outraged about that really don’t have a hill of beans to do with anything. Are you aware that both Paul Volker and George Soros have stated that the economy is collapsing faster than imagined and faster than the rate of the great depression? Are you aware that ABC news is reporting that 15 leading cities in the country are going to be turned into virtual ghost towns and ghettoes as the houses built during the boom go unoccupied and deteriorate from the lack of owners or tenants? Do you know that the slight money provided for extra food stamps and extra unemployment benefits in the recovery package that Governors are saying they don’t need are actually the defensive line between getting fed and being hungry in this country. And this blogger wants to solve the issue how??? So far it means turning to the Drudge page and seeing what phony issue he/she has to be concerned about and then bringing that faux outrage to this page.
Rome is burning people. Do you have a solution other than being concerned about who is driving what car and how often we can bash O’bama using his own slogans.

#2, NO MOST OF US DO NOT HAVE THE ANSWERS BUT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CHARGE TELL US THEY HAVE THE ANSWERS BEFORE WE ELECT THEM AND THEN WHEN IT IS TIME TO PUT OUT THE ARE FOUND TO BE NOTHING MORE THAN WIND BAGS.

WE COME HERE TO VENT OUR FEELINGS AND LET ANYBODY WHO WILL LISTEN THAT WE AREN’T FALLING FOR THEIR BS, NOT THAT THEY CARE. WE DON’T HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THINGS FROM WHERE WE SIT, THIS IS THE BEST WE CAN DO ON SHORT NOTICE. EXCUSE US!

You seem to think you have all the answers, so instead of playing internet watch guru why don’t you march into washington and straighten it out. I guess we should just watch the MSM instead of the internet while rome falls around us.

We know what a sad state our economy is in and we know that throwing money at the problem is not going to fix that. Most people learn that early in their adult lives, I guess Barry was too busy stirring up anti white sentiment in his early adult life to notice anything else.

The system is collapsing as it was engineered to do. Nothing the government does will stop it, or even slow it down. The banksters are making huge amounts of money off the collapse while Americans starve, just as they planned. Ron Paul was right all along, and everyone (including repugnicans) mocked him. So I will mock the phony usurper Obama’s actions every chance I get. He’s not even constitutionally qualified to be president.

Seneca, I have never seen or read anything as negative and ridiculus as you write, anywhere. Are you aware that the other name for Depressions is Panics, so named because idiots like you, Obama, George Soros, etc. sound the alarm and scare the Hell out of people who then run on the Banks and sale off their stocks, etc. which leads to a complete collaspe of the economy. For example the lie that Nancy Pelosi made that if we did not approve the stimulus package immediately we would loose 500,000,000 jobs. That is a neat trick since the total number of legal citizens when we count every man, woman, and child is 300,000,000. Hell, I think we should give control of the Census to Obama and the White House no telling what kind of numbers and what type of Gerrymandering we will get out of that one. I just retired from a government agency that makes loans and I can tell you that the loans we made were crap and the tax payers are getting screwed and then I turn the TV on and see where people are being pressured in the private sector into making the same types of loans and they are then being locked up for making loans people like Barney (Fife) Franks are pressuring them to make. You really need to get an education, after 38 years of the Dumicratic Party I left and joined the Republican Party. They may not be the answer but I can sure as hell tell you two things. As a loan officer their were two sayings: 1. You cannot drink yourself sober and 2. You cannot borrow yourself out of debt. That leaves us with borrowing money for this stimulus fiasco or printing more money which in turn creates hyper-inflation. All I can say is be worried with what has been done be very worried. But we will survive because we the people will vote this idiots out of power in two years, I just hope we can limit the damage that is being done.

Number #3 Venting is great but how about an idea every once in a while? Just copying what Drudge says and pasting it here is kinda silly isn’t it? Why read this site? Let’s have an exchange of ideas rather than just running around on phony outrages.
Number 4 Sorry I did not include links. Here you go:
      Soros link here; http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/2009/02/21/business/business-us-financial-soros.html?dbk
      Volker statement here; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/02/20/paul-volcker-financial-cr_n_168772.html
      ABC News Report here;http://abcnews.go.com/Business/Economy/story?id=6914381&page=1
You can hide your head in the sand all you want but the news is bad. By the way, when you worked for that government agency that gave out bad loans, did you turn anyone into the AG’s office, the SEC office? You know whistle blowers are protected and they get a piece of the returns on a qui tam suit. So did you turn your bosses in or did you silently and collect your paychecks while the institution committed financial treason against the interests of this country??
This crisis and yes it is a crisis was not caused by the individual homeowners wanting a piece of George Bushes ownership society. It was caused by bankers who bundled the bad loans, not investigating what they had and then selling those loans as “securities” to investors and foreign countries, that is why the system is collapsing. It was an international ponzi scheme.
By the way everyone except the most disingenuous knows that Pelosi misspoke with that number. But isn’t 500.000 jobs lost and then 600,000 jobs lost enough to cause you concern?? Do you really need for the country to experience 25% unemployment for this crisis to be real to you??

    8. ANewGirl on February 23rd, 2009 3:52 pm

      OBAMA

      PELOSI

      REID

      SOROS

FRANK ….Wow….the Dem Dream Team, right there……problem is….WAKE US ALL UP, THOUGH & HURRY !!!! ………….I think we’re all having a frightening NIGHTMARE! =(

#2- Seneca Falls…..GET A LIFE. Funny how trolls like you complain so much about content & have time to post your gibberish here everyday. Rusty Bridges is right,,,,,why don’t you get out from behind your computer screen and do something about it??? All you do is spew your BS & whine….like that’s going to make a difference?

I can tell you this, many of us Monkeys actually DO GET INVOLVED in our communities or on even larger levels with issues & causes we are passionate or concerned about….which is a lot more than I can say about big-mouthed empty suits/skirts like you that only have your fingers do the talking on a keyboard.

    9. Susan on February 23rd, 2009 5:33 pm

Oh come on, people, let’s put the blame on the Big 3 where it belongs!! If the freaking executives of these companies WERE NOT ALL GUILTY of waste, fraud and abuse, maybe, just maybe I’d feel sorry for the companies.

Okay, I feel for the average American automaker out there on the assembly line, but if management would have acted in a RESPONSIBLE manner, as far as running the companies FINANCES go, the Big 3 wouldn’t be in this situation.

I’ve bought three American made cars in my life. All others have been Toyota, Mazda (before Ford bought the company), and Volkswagens. I would never buy another Chevy or Ford again as long as I live! I wouldn’t buy another VW or Mazda again, either. I’m sold on Toyota :-)

If the Big 3 would make a more reliable car, I’d reconsider.

    10. buster on February 23rd, 2009 6:34 pm

Susan is 100% right !!! The big 3 line there pockets and produce junk !!! I do see a bit of a change but not as big a change as I would like to see. I am a building/Aerospace Contractor and drive trucks. My Chevy C3500 is always in the shop and My Nissan truck is always running.
Susan you make beautiful music !!!

To #8 I have a life which is why there are hours between my posts, I have a career, have my own business, have my own home which I did not over extend myself on. What did I post that made you feel as if that was not the case? I am involved in my community also and have been for 20 years. Speaking of which, I tuned into this site because of the posts on a notorious crime committed in my community. But when I saw the constant economic drivel posted here all against Obama with no facts to back up the constant whining negativism I just had to answer it. Again , I still have not seen any ideas posted by the writers here, just attacks and insinuations. Are there any ideas from the negative nabobs or are you just negative for the sake of being negative?

    12. Susan on February 23rd, 2009 7:58 pm

      Thank you, buster :-)

    13. buster on February 23rd, 2009 8:16 pm

#11 Wow you have a house, a career and a business, I bet you are single and have not dated in a long time. Am I right ???

    14. ANewGirl on February 24th, 2009 8:31 am

#11- Well, that’s just wonderful that you have all the same things most of us do on here….so what makes us so different?

Look at the market yesterday (Read in to that: WALL STREET is operating on fear) just continue to look around you and let the facts speak for themselves.

While I agree that too much negativity will spurn nothing but more fear, panicked aggression or distortion of reality….many of us here have been around long enough and predicted most of what we are continuing to experience right now. It’s not about saying, “I told you so” as much as it is about avoiding more of the same. Don’t paint us all with the same broad brushstrokes, Seneca…perhaps I was too hasty into labeling you one particular way as well.

Offering solutions? Isn’t that what we elect members of Congress for to vote on? Please! Where is the collective “faith factor” ? It doesn’t exist anymore, and that is reality.

    15. BUN on February 24th, 2009 8:41 am

iF we had been “bailing out” through all the years, the guy that delivers the ICE (before electricity) would still be in business….but where would his business be now? Sometimes business is over, and it has to be faced.

I posted this on another comments section but I will post here as well for Senecafalls & other supporters of this stimulus package.

You want to know why we are in such a financial crisis. I know that dems want to blame Bush & the useless war on terror (they’re words not mine) but the truth is that the war is not senseless (we have save lives & freed the Iraqi’s from tyranny) Here are a few examples of wasteful spending:

      1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments. Verify at: http://tinyurl. com/zob77
      2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens. Verify at: http://www.cis. org/articles/ 2004/fiscalexec. html

      6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. Verify at: http://transcripts. cnn.com/TRANSCRI PTS/0604/ 01/ldt.01. html

      8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.
      Verify at: http://premium. cnn.com/TRANSCIP TS/0610/29/ ldt.01.html
      9. $200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
      Verify at: http://transcripts. cnn.com/TRANSCRI PTS/0604/ 01/ldt.01. html
      10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two and a half times that of non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US .
      Verify at: http://transcripts. cnn.com/TRANSCRI PTS/0606/ 12/ldt.01. html

      11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border.

      14. The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One million sex crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States.
      Verify at: whttp://ww.drdsk. com/articleshtml

The total cost is a whopping $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR.
When you ask someone to fix a problem, you usually don’t ask the ones that caused the problem to begin with. DUH?
Where is the loyal, patriotic, tax-payer American citizen in this above senario….. ?
We are the PROVIDERS!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

    18. buster on February 24th, 2009 2:30 pm

Michelle Smith thanks for ruining my day with that info !!! I knew it was bad but not that bad !!! What can we do about this ???

    19. Michelle Smith on February 24th, 2009 4:56 pm

#18 Sorry to ruin your day but those are the facts and it makes me sick. I’m tired of hearing all the dems screaming that we wasted money on the war when we have wasted plenty on illegals in this country. At least the war had purpose. I don’t know what we can do other than vote these morons out of office and get some people who care about this country and do something about locking up the borders better and re-writing laws that allow illegals the same rights as citizens. More taxpayers money flushed down the toilet.

    20. Michelle Smith on February 24th, 2009 4:57 pm

#19 *should say laws that don’t allow

I was disgusted when I typed it.

    21. buster on February 24th, 2009 6:20 pm

Michelle what makes me sick is that California will be broke soon and the illegals will still suck the life out of california !!! I know a mexican family who rented a house from me, Well he turned around and rented all the rooms out for more than I was charging him. Then his wife was taking care of other children along with hers for cash !!! Her husband was a gardner making cash and they where collecting welfare. They even had people feeling sorry for them and brought them groceries twice a month.
Long story short the guy recently bought a house !!! Here in California.

SenecaFalls – get off your soap box you liberal a$$ wipe! Go save a tree! Seriously, you holier than thou socialist pig.

It’s astounding how un-informed people (if you can call liberals people) keep spouting this “inherited” bullsh*t when IN FACT, the FACTS point out it was the Democraps that ruined the housing market with their deregulation during the Clinton years and with their “everybody should own a home” policies.

Liberals have the same talking points and it’s exhausting…Let’s here some FACTS.It’s also amazing how NOW the stock market has no influence in our economy!?! Where did these people come from? Mars? It’s so funny that we here this crap about how Wall Street is not to be trusted, yada yada yada, but the people on the exchange floor do not represent the banks on Wall Street entirely. AMAZING that Bernake said we could be out the recession at the end of 2009. Wonder why that is? NOT because of Obama but maybe because of the first $700B that went out to the banks under Bush! Liberals and Obama will take credit…let them…we know the truth!

Once again, great speech, but no specifics as usual with the vague Obama administration. Nancy Pelosi looked like an a$$ clown standing up every 2 seconds. Her time is coming….$30M to save a mouse!?!

    24. scott on February 25th, 2009 2:02 pm
