Dana, sounds like Nancy Grace is jealous your getting better guests than her. I stopped watching Grace because her guests do not say anything (Leo the liar) and she is so one sided.

ROFLMAO Nancy Grace jealous of Dana ya right, but thanks for the laugh and about her guests she has had Timmy the liar on many times. If being wrong means you are a liar than both Leonard and Tim have both been wrong at times. Tim said when Natalee first disappeared that he would find her and that in 2 weeks they would be having a funeral for her…wrong then rember when he called Dave and out right told hem they found Natalee…wrong and then when he left Caylee’s search he said he didn’t think her reamins would ever be found wrong again… I think its wrong to claim someone is a liar just because they are trying and don’t get something right but if you think that makes them a liar than Tim and Leonard both fall in to that catagory.

I think the point of Dana’s commentary was to explain why he would have controversial guests on his show. He needs to do this to be fair; because, there is always two sides to a story. Having Drew Peterson on his show does not represent Dana’s opinion of him. It only represents another side to the story. We must remember that what we think is not always backed up by physical evidence. There can be no conviction of a crime without evidence.

I have no problem at all with Dan hosting people like Drew Peterson on his show. I was only extending my sympathy with him, that Drew had gone to Mancow for the Showdown with Geraldo Rivera, after Dana had tried for so long to orchestrate such a meeting to take place on his own show.

And yes, IMO Dana does treat Drew and his lawyer, Joel Brodsky with kid gloves. I certainly don’t expect him to be confrontational or call the man a murderer – that would serve no purpose. I do wish he would do more than allow the two to prattle on and on or to feed them answers before they get a chance to respond. I’ll never forget Dana attemptimg to explain away Peterson’s history of adultery before allowing him to respond to the charges by Derek Armstrong.

Dana: “It’s a cop thing. OK?”

I understand that shows need ratings, but there needs to be some sort of balance. Unfortunately for Dana, even the soft handling did not pay off.
