Why with the public there for Caylee did the family need to provide more drama and reference the name of Casey Anthony?
As thousands attended and looked on at the Caylee Anthony Memorial yesterday, they were presented with beautiful music and heart felt comments regarding little Caylee. Thankfully, there were no protesters, no news conferences, no bounty hunters stealing the spotlight. Just as everything was going too perfectly … WHAM!!! The Anthony’s had to provide drama where none was needed … cryptic messages from Lee Anthony and the obligatory Anthony family defense of indicted tot mom Casey.

What was up with Lee Anthony’s code talk? Is Lee the new Shango? Was it really appropriate for the Anthony family to interject Casey’s name and ask anyone for forgiveness? The public was there to remember Caylee, not Casey.
Casey’s brother, Lee Anthony, said his family is “incomplete” and the loss of Caylee has left him broken. He spoke in defense of his jailed sister.

“If I could ask something from anybody that was willing to hear it, it would be this: For those of us that are frightened or angry or mournful or that just don’t understand, I ask that you fill your heart with patience and grace, and that you allow yourself to yield any judgments that you may already have,” he said.
He continued, “For those of us who will never be the same again, I ask that you fill your heart with hope and forgiveness and you allow yourself to cope and heal.”

Were their cryptic messages being sent by Lee? If so, why? What promise is he referring to? Maybe Lee would like to elaborate seeing that he made the comment to the public.
Her uncle Lee asked everyone to withhold judgment and to fill their hearts with patience and grace. This is the first time we’ve heard from him in months.
He spoke of “CMA,” saying how much he missed her and will never forget his promise to her. He kissed his Caylee bracelet.
At first, I thought he meant Caylee but then remembered Casey Anthony shares the same initials.

An Uncle whos honouring his beloved dead niece,can get up in front of over a thousand people and not say her name….Please, she was a human being not a franchise LEE .He was talking to his f*cked up slag of a sister for sure.Lee Anthony, shame one you, shame on you.
I thought the service was lovely and I even shed a few tears, then about half way through Lee’s speech did the tear brakes screech me to a hault…there are no words that I can come up with to explain how angry I became, I was speechless. When Cindy began her American Idol performance I was just sick. George seemed like he was the only one sincerly heartbroken until the “send my daughter a Valentine” comment came flying out of his mouth…unreal I will make sure I get on that first thing tomorrow…..NOT
My daughter had a baby a year ago and gave her up for adoption because she knew she could not give her the things she needed, the courage she had to do what she did amazes me ever day. To this day I cry looking at my angels little picture. How Cindy can chomp on gum, smile, and act like a complete idiot is ridiculos. I know people grieve in different ways but I see none of that here with her..

Tuesday’s memorial was uplifting in a crucial way: Caylee Anthony was discussed more often and more lovingly than she had been in all the months her story had unfolded.
Local television covered the memorial with respect and poignancy. WFTV-Channel 9′s Kathi Belich described “a very emotional memorial service” and spoke of the little girl’s love of green beans, SpongeBob and the color lavender.
The comments by the Anthonys — uncle Lee, grandparents George and Cindy — were the source of most of the emotion. But George and Cindy also shifted the focus to daughter Casey, who is accused of Caylee’s murder.
And so Caylee’s day became about Casey — Caylee could never have the focus to herself. Cindy’s comments of affection for Casey became a top headline.
Watching the Anthonys at the service drove home the point: The public fell in love with Caylee, not with her family. I’m not sure the family understands that point.
Through the months, the family had often come off as self-indulgent, self-pitying, out of touch. Then the Anthonys were mostly out of sight after Caylee’s remains were found.
Seeing the Anthonys in the spotlight again was jarring. Perhaps delivering those comments was cathartic for them.
Yet their speeches suggested they haven’t changed. And Cindy Anthony was determined to have the last word, from her seat in the church.
Television reporters gave mostly favorable reviews to the memorial. “Beautiful,” said WKMG-Channel 6′s Mike DeForest. “A vivid and three-dimensional portrait of this little girl,” said WESH-Channel 2′s Bob Kealing. “Moving messages for both Caylee and Casey,” said WFTV anchor Martie Salt.
Is it appropriate to review a memorial?
Well, here goes: The pastors’ eulogies were heartfelt, and most singers performed with a professionalism that indicated they are ready for the recording studio.
But the service lasted two hours, which was too long.
And the Anthonys spoke. I fear it was more about them than Caylee.

Leonard Padilla had mentioned that Lee had referred to Casey as CMA last summer during one of their meetings, George had to ask him is he referring to Caylee and he said not Casey.

It was weird to see the picture of Caylee and her mother by the burning candle at the church…knowing that her mother is up for murdering her.
Did anyone notice that Lee was reading or looking at a laptop computer while saying his part of the eulogy? Jose Baez was at the jail with his laptop. Was Lee communicating with Jose and Casey thru the laptop in some way??? I still maintain that Lee is Caylee’s father. It was really creepy when he said “it has been so long since i held you………”! That is something you say to a lover, not a sibling or neice. Lee seems like a cauldron that is going to explode at any moment. If you listen to him in his early jail conversations with Casey, he sounds like a bad interpretation of Inspector Clouseau (sp?). Asking people to come forward during the funeral and share tips and information about the real killer was extremely tacky and wacky. It shows that this family still doesn’t get it and i doubt they ever will. Yes, they loved Caylee. However, part of loving someone is protecting them from harm. The two year old was thrown into the clutches of their deceiving, thieving daughter and she was no match for Casey. My heart is broken for Caylee and this family.
Does anyone else think Lee might have done it and Casey helped HIM cover it up?
I think that you are reading to much into the CMA. Maybe that was Caylee’s nickname from Lee. I have a son and his name starts with a G. I call him “G.”
I kept thinking we wouldn’t need to be in this situation if someone in the family had been looking out for the innocent child. Words spoken of “missing”children? Caylee was a “murdered” child first and very likely by the one sitting in a jail cell now; yes, one of the family.

in the forum I read that yes lee was communicating with casey via satellite… casey was with her attorney and in turn he had his laptop .. so she was able to see them.. sneakyyyyyyyyyyyyy sneakyyyyyyyyyyyyy move… on all their parts.. pathetic loosers.. it turned out about casey and how she had compassion and love for caylee .. what trying to make it look like someone killed her…they are members of missing children.. caylee was not kidnapped she was cold bloodedly murdered by her mother.. nothing and no pleas for help for casey will help them.. nor will the public change their opinion of the murdering wench.. they are spoiling casey… and thats her problem .. attention seeking wench.. Gigi- Yes, that whole CMA thing was very strange coming from Lee, and when it got to the part where he was talking about being “proud” of
CMA, I pretty much guessed that he was speaking to Casey and not about Caylee. If it was Caylee he was eulogizing, why not say her name? I’m heartfully sorry if I am wrong- but the whole speech just stank of being a coded message to Casey. There was nothing in his language that was specifically rendered so as to give the impression he was speaking about his niece.

Yep, after Casey’s pretend “I don’t want to watch the memorial service”…it appears Lee and Jose pulled one over on the unsuspecting officials at the jail house and the public. I wonder what will be next?
It made me sick when Cindy had the gall to COMPARE Caylee with Casey. Caylee was beautiful, but Casey is the ugliest human being I’ve ever seen, inside and out. Caylee was too young to show much compassion, but Casey has none. Caylee had a good spirit, where Casey’s spirit is EVIL! There’s no comparison between Caylee and Casey. Cindy is delusional!

I felt like Lee and Casey were, once again, getting something over on all of us. Surely the police and LE are aware of this. The creepiest part was when he said he hadn’t been able to hold her. That is not something i would say to a sibling. I believe there are many dark secrets in this family and they will start to spill out at the trial. Lee and Cindy have a definite bond. It feels to me as if they have been intimate with each other. If you listen to the jailhouse tapes of the two of them, Casey has the sick look of a lover and Lee is only interested in “finding the real killer” so he can be with Casey again. It is truly disturbing.

just read the blog from the man who was at the memorial, and was glad to hear there were many pics shown of her that we didn’t see, that is one of the things that was lacking at the memorial. If that is true about the remains being in the teddy bear, at first I thought how strange, but then since she was only two years old, in a way that is kind of a special way of remembering her, and maybe that bear was one of her favorites.

I was over at the forum these last couple days looking for info and I heard some of the posters say that the reason they speculate that casey was listening was because of the cryptic messages coming from brother lee .. he was talking directly at her… he was on a laptop..what the posters there are saying is that her attorney probably was allowed thru with the laptop for her to watch the memorial. with a modem card you can easily view from their site.. casey didnt ask to view the memorial probably because it was kept quiet so as not to alert any attention. speculation that permission was granted .. after all they had said she could of also watched it thru the tv or listened to on radio.. it makes sense to me.. baez is very sneaky and think about it the message from lee and cindy especialy were directed to her…. it’s very possible this was pre-arranged..
as for the teddy bear memorial .. I feel this was done so that no one could know that those ashes were inside the teddy bear… after reading and finding out that for children urns are made for them in mind.. this led me to conclude that the reason why they spent some time near the teddy bear was because she was there… her ashes…
think about it schimer.. what other reason would a laptop be needed. it appeared under lees arm and disappeared when they were done.. no one else sused it.. speculation is it was either under his arm or under the pulpit…

We complain about the money they’re making from the death of their grand daughter, to pay, I assume for her dream team. But, as much as it appears they don’t care about Caylee; I assure you that Lee was not lying when he said he’s broken.
There’s plenty of suffering going on in the world that is alot worse than this. Think of all the children born with AIDS, think of the number of children that are bought and sold into slavery each year or think about the number of people who are starving to death… tens of thousands each day. With all those choices to chose from, who has the time or energy to spend so much time, everyday, harping about how a family insists on supporting one another through their time of crisis? It’s their right and it’s their choice.

I have followed this case since day one and am intrested in the trial aspect. This reminds me very much of the Scott peterson Case,The Susan Smith case to name a few–as one poster pointed out there are MANY children suffering and dying hourly they are all God’s hand picked flowers HE only choses the BEST.

I heard tonite on Nancy Grace that forensic evidence indicates that Casey’s fingerprints were on the duct tape wrapped around Caylee’s head. If this is so, I’d like to see the Anthony’s explain that away. I believe that Baez took his laptop into the jail and stayed for two hours so that they could watch the memorial together. Tonite the sheriff announced that, going forward, every conversation that Casey has will be videotaped, including meeting with Baez. It is wrong to have private conversations and the jail will be more vigilant about supervising Casey. Amazing how she always manages to slip thru the cracks.

A day after Caylee Anthony’s memorial, WKMG-Channel 6 explored why the toddler was cremated.
The child’s death certificate was filed today, and she was cremated in the past few days, WKMG’s Adam Longo reported. Brad Conway, attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, said the grandparents decided on the cremation to protect the child. Longo reported that the grandparents are not keeping the ashes in their home — they fear vandals — and they don’t want a marked grave either.
Longo said Conway will ask for a face-to-face meeting at the jail between Casey and her parents.
But WESH-Channel 2 reported that Conway said his clients still want to have a private video visit with Casey. The parents understand the visit would have to be monitored, but they don’t want it released to the media, anchor Martha Sugalski said. The decision would fall to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Sugalski added.
In other reports, TV stations turned back to the case against Casey Anthony, who is charged with Caylee’s murder.
WESH showed Jose Baez, Casey Anthony’s attorney, saying the next step is sorting out what evidence is real and what is junk. WESH’s Bob Kealing quoted “sources close to the investigation” who say they want to question Lee Anthony more about what he knew when niece Caylee was missing.
WESH replayed footage of George Anthony’s comments at Tuesday’s memorial. But Kealing reminded viewers that George will be a major witness in the murder case against his daughter, Casey.
WFTV-Channel 9′s Kathi Belich said, “It’s our understanding that a lot of the evidence … is still being tested.” That material includes what was found with the toddler’s remains and what was gathered at the Anthony home. She also speculated, based on Dr. Henry Lee’s recent writings, that the defense team might use root growth at the scene to figure out how long Caylee’s body was there.

we all kinda knew that but it being confirmed makes me feel a sense of relief .. the only ones in denial are the grandparents. they do not want to loose their daughter.. but they lost her long ago.. theres no way she can bond with them.. theres to much bad blood between mother and daughter…alot of deep seeded resentments. they are the reason casey killed caylee. they taught her to get her way when she threw tantrums.. she was spoiled rotten … when caylee was born all the focus and attention and love went to caylee and continued with everyone that came near caylee … she captured the hearts of many… baez needs to be seen for who he is … a chister wanna be biggtime dream team lawyer… that he isnt.. its so pathetic to see him and her family in action…

5:30 PM ET – Just moments ago, we learn the medical examiner was notified of a request to cremate Caylee’s remains. The approval was given on December 31, but as of today, still no confirmation if this has taken place. In a statement read by her lead attorney, tot mom Casey Anthony revealed Caylee’s remains have been cremated. But George and Cindy Anthony’s attorney says no. The medical examiner says it’s out of their hands and up to the Anthonys and the funeral home as to when the cremation will take place. (From Stacey Newman, Nancy Grace Producer)

Searching public records for death certificate–no luck so far the Funeral home where she was had her remains–also searching their ‘services’

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) — Caylee Anthony’s remains have been turned over to a south Orlando funeral home. The remains are now at the Robert Bryant Funeral & Cremation Chapel
Caylee’s mother Casey Anthony signed documents authorizing the release of the remains to the funeral home. She remains in the Orange County jail charged with Caylee’s murder.
Caylee’s remains were found on December 11 and positively identified last week.
Orlando lawyer Brad Conway said Tuesday that George and Cindy Anthony, Caylee’s grandparents, will hold both a private service and a public memorial for Caylee.
A jail spokesman said Casey Anthony will not be able to attend a funeral or viewing for her daughter, due to her charges and safety and security risks.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that this family, just like most others like them, are going to stick with one another and try to survive the storm with their family, or what they ‘perceive’ as family intact.
I’ve heard it’s true and have seen it myself. The love that we have for our family members can survive anything. Maybe it will survive, even, this. In fact, I hope it will because it’s obvious they have a long climb ahead of them to win back the public support that they, so desperately, want.

I thought it would be appropriate to share this information: I have my master’s in criminal justice and worked at a medium security women’s penitentiary. We had several inmates who had murdered their children, either through abuse, neglect or intentional murder. They were released into the general population. Most were serving long sentences, if not life. I did not find that the child murderers were treated any differently by the inmate population. I think perhaps it is different within the male prisons. Casey, if she is convicted, will survive quite well in prison. She is conniving. It is exactly her type of personality that fills our prisons today.

My two sons are also studying criminal justice and my ex daughterinlaw was also a guard at a local prision in Oklahoma–male sector from what she told us.
Question: You say the ‘treatment is no different from the other inmates’ o.k. but that is in medium security–what about max security?She needs to have her ‘comeuppance’ while in prison.
But in relity a killer is a killer age makes no differance from one month to 100 kill,kill,kill–in the criminal’s mind nothing matters to them.
Do you perhaps have an answer to this? What ever happened to Susan Smith and Andera Yates–we know Scott Peterson is ‘alive an kicking’ are/were any of them in general pop?

I meant that the inmates have their own code of respect and pecking order and i did not observe that child murderers were treated any differently by other inmates. however, child rapists are an entirely different issue within the prison population. i think that florida uses lethal injection but i am not sure. i believe susan smith got life in prison without parole. andrea yates was originally in prison but had a new trial and was found not guilty by reason of insanity ( i think, other peeps set me straight on this). i have also worked as a probation and parole officer and i have to say, people who commit crimes against children cannot be rehabilitated. it is my opinion that the kind of sociopath that would harm a child can never be “re-trained” to have a conscience or develop boundaries. i think this is what is wrong with casey, she has no boundaries, never saw caylee as her own person and threw her out like she would dispose of out her own body waste. it is amazing the stories you hear when you work with inmates and criminals. it is really scary when you hear the justification and denial. the anthony’s are all possible criminals as they delve deeper into the denial of casey’s crime. they have already lied to investigators and withheld physical property. nothing surprises me anymore.

Which brings into play George’s recent actions–suicide note/attempt ectra. #81: i don’t think george is coping very well with the knowledge he is suppressing about casey. he was the last family member to see caylee alive. he went to pick up the car from the tow lot and identified (correctly) the smell of death eminating from the trunk. i believe he knows casey murdered caylee. in order to remain in the family, he has to go along with cindy, or else. also, for a very long time, i wondered if george was caylee’s father. early on in this investigation, i remember reporters referring to casey as george’s step daughter. also, in chat logs posted on this website, cindy’s brother, rick plesea (sp?) said that george is NOT casey’s father, so i wonder if there is incest and that is the secret that cindy and casey hold over everyone. lee seems so protective of casey, maybe that is why. additionally, casey has stated to various boyfriends that lee molested her in middle school and that george had abused her.

(went missing Tues a.m. before Caylee’s memorial)–we CAN”T let ANOTHER JESSICA LUNSFORD happen if we can help it–nope I’m not in Fl (been there done that won the tee shirt)–someone needs to tell the cops to search every sexual pred’s trailer or house for signs of this precious child (remember Jessica was very much alive and forced into a closet when the cops were questioning the killer at the front door of the trailer) So as we ALL unite in PRAYER for the safe and very soon return of this child she will be o.k.
Another thot and mo only–has the octuplet mom had any extensive mental evauls yet? Are her 14 children in harms way? 98% of mommies WANTED to be a mommie but not having litters but one at a time. Doesn’t post partum depression come in soon after the birth. (yates suffered from post partum look how her kids turned out and she only had 5,and susan smith as well ‘never got over the birth of 2nd son’) It would be good to watch the developments in this case 14 precious children one single welfare mom–something’s amiss here as well.

Let’s hope and pray that LE in Florida, as well as around the country/world, learned some very important lessons from the Jessica Lunsford case. If LE doesn’t go into that community where Haleigh disappeared with a “vengeance”, leaving no stone unturned, they could have blood on their hands.
As far as post partum depression is concerned, not all women suffer from it, and the severity varies. I don’t necessarily agree with post partum being used as a plea or a bargaining chip in a murder case. Susan Smith’s boyfriend didn’t like kids, so she drowned her babies. She is guilty of pre-meditated murder, just like Casey.

Hi, After watching this for so long it has finally occured to me who the father of Caylee is. I truely believe the father is the brother Lee. I base this off the fact the mother knows the father yet refuses to tell who. Caseys parents know and refuse to say. It is obvious they are hiding something terrible. The childs name is also another clue CayLee, A combination of Casey and Lee. Cay for Casey and Lee is obvious. CayLee. The mother couldnt resist naming the child after herself and her brother. This is who the father is and explains why the family is so intent on keeping the secret. Its incest. The dirty little secret.

Sharon: i read in a chat log posted here on this website: rick pelsea (cindy’s brother) states in the chat log that george is not casey’s father. early on, i recall a newscaster in florida during an interview, state that casey was george’s stepdaughter. does anyone else remember this? where can we go to check this out?? it has bothered me during this entire case.

Cindy wanted George to go into the car business with his dad. His dad had a nice used car lot that did pretty well. The only
thing was George couldn’t get along with his dad. Within the first year they got into a fight at the lot and George put his
father through a plate glass window. George was asked to leave. George then started his own used car lot as he bought up a
small one a few miles from his dad’s. He second mortgaged his and Cindy’s home and when the lot went under they lost their
home in Niles, Ohio. They then moved to Florida and assumed a mortgage at their present location. This is 100 percent true.
I know them personally. Believe me they are really stupid.

Cindy was going to file for custody of Caylee. Casey and Cindy were fighting before all this happened. Casey had stolen
money from Cindy’s mom and dad and Cindy was fed up with Casey’s behavior. Cindy went to a counselor and the counselor told
Cindy to kick Casey out. Cindy was worried that Casey would take Caylee with her. The counselor told Cindy to file for
custody. Casey took Caylee to punish Cindy. That is what Cindy thought for a few weeks anyway. Casey would not produce
Caylee or let her talk with Cindy. Cindy only tracked Casey down when they found that the car had been towed and they
retrieved the car. Cindy called all of the phone numbers of Casey’s friends to locate her. Her friend Amy said she knew
where Casey was as Casey had just picked her up at the airport the night before. Cindy wondered how Casey could do that
without a car. Amy said she let Casey use her car when she was gone for a whole week. Casey stole $700 from Amy too. Casey
has stolen over $25,000 from her mom and dad through credit cards. Cindy had to go into her 401K from work to pay off all
the bills. That is why the Anthony’s were behind on some payments. I know all of this because I know the Anthonys and
Cindy’s mother. I talk to Cindy’s mother once a week.

time it seemed we could see her. It is scary for a little child.

I grew up in Warren and knew of Dr. Sudimack. I also know that Cindy talked George into going in with his dad so George
could inherit the business. It never happened as George lost his temper with his dad and put him though a plate glass window
on the lot. End of George and the thought of inheriting a good car business. By the way, one of George’s sisters married a car dealer in Austintown. They are doing very well. Cindy was a bit envious of the way his sister lived and wanted the good life for herself.

The fight was about Casey stealing money from her grandparents. She stole a check for $354 from her granddad’s nursing home account that even Cindy’s mom couldn’t cash. The bank had to reimburse Cindy’s dad’s account. Cindy’s mom wanted the bank to press charges but Cindy somehow got Casey out of it. That is what the fight was about. They had just visited Cindy’s dad on fathers day. Cindy’s mom was very unhappy with Cindy for not doing something about Casey. Cindy and Casey got into it. Big blowup that the neighbors overheard.
Cindy and George were at work when Casey tried to call them. They weren’t on vacation.

I have been following this since the day it happened. I have waited patiently for it to come to a head. I washoping the FBI
would finally get the forensic info back before this stupid bounty hunted got her out of jail. I just couldn’t take it anymore. I have given you all I know and what I have given you is 100% correct. Don’t believe anything that George and Cindy say as they are in total denial. Cindy’s mom is very sick over this. Her health wasn’t very good to start with and this will probably kill her when they find Caylee if she isn’t alive. The Anthony’s are not living in reality. They believe they crap that Casey is saying even though she has never told them the truth. Casey was seven months pregnant and she lied and said she had just gained a few pounds. Her belly was extended and her belly button was sticking out over a half an inch. She finally was forced to the doctors after I told Cindy that she is either pregnant or is going to die from a tumor the size of a baby. They believed her because she said she never ever had sex. What a liar.

He is Hispanic and his mother says that he never ever spoke of even knowing Casey. Calee has no Hispanic traits. From everything that I and Cindy’s mom knows of Lee, he is a really good kid. Never been in any trouble and is a hard worker. He is the only person that was close enough to Casey to try and get her to talk. Lee is the only one in that family that is not totally gone yet. He may be key in getting to the bottom of this as he may get Casey to talk.

Cindy filed for divorce because George had an online gambling habit that nearly ended their marriage. He ran up thousands of dollars gambling. They lost their first home from the bankrupt car lot that George second mortgaged their home on. As far as I know, Casey never was mentally evaluated. Cindy thought Casey was punishing her for the fight and thought Casey was just
holding Caylee away from see her. It took finding the car had been towed and impounded to light a fire under her **** to find her. Cindy never told her family very much unless it was exagerated because it was something good. It turns out most of
Casey’s job assignments were exagerated or down right falsehoods.

Jesse Grunds testimony that Casey broke up with him because she thought he loved Caylee more than her is so damning for Casey…this will come
out at the trial… I am sure the Anthony’s hate it that he mentioned this on Nancy Grace’s TV show.
Who knows IF Lee is the father of Caylee…maybe George just does not know but Cindy knows..and she refered to Lee, Casey and Caylee as my “3 children”…so she was not far off on that one if it is true.
If George and Cindy almost broke up over gambling debts back in 2005, perhaps the other part/reason was that Casey was pregnant with Lee’s baby?

I don’t see how Casey had a hope in hell of growing up normal with a family so dedicated to twisting reality to suit themselves and to protect her. If Casey screamed out “I did it and it was because I hate you mom! You’ll never have Caylee!” they’d spin it, saying something like her new friends twisted her and they forgive her. After all she was manipulated by her diabolical new friends.
I’ve seen lots of parents who refuse to believe their children can do wrong. they get mad at teachers, parents of other children, just about anybody who has problems with their little angel. It seems Casey was cursed with parents on the far end of the spectrum. You can almost pity her. Everyone says sociopaths just happen, so it’s not something the parents cause. This is true, but it is also true sociopaths can develop out of some twisted family situations. People like NG assume the parents didn’t create her as she is, that they are innocent. I think Casey is in large part the product of their consistent mishandled parenting..
I also think spitting venom at Casey for things like how she looks is obviously a way some vent their frustration. But there’s no need to make everything black and white. Casey can be beautiful physically and be diseased inside. You don’t have to dis her looks to despise her.
I think it’s important to see people aren’t all evil or all good. People are complicated, and when we think bad people are all bad, I think we are more likely to miss identifying a destructive personality because we see some good in them.
Casey is a sociopath. She is also beautiful, physically. And she
was a cute little girl like Caylee, who ran to her mommy and captivated her big brother. She very likely has done things that she’s been loved for. So family of someone like a Casey Anthony or a Scott Peterson will have in their memories the whole, long, picture of their life with parts they remember with love.
I just think we can hate what Casey has done and has become while understanding it’s more complicated for people who’ve know and loved someone throughout their life.

It’s been a thing with me that people tend to see others as either ‘good’ or ‘bad’ and seem to miss that we are all a combination of both. Thinking someone is ‘good’ without awareness that everyone has some of the dark side (whether it’s making spiteful comments about people when they’re not present or committing terrible crimes like murder) leaves us vulnerable to injury. Some examples are leaving a helpless child with a person we assume is a ‘good’ person, allowing access to our finances to someone we trust, they seem like a good guy, though we don’t really know them, entrusting someone with the care of a pet while away, assuming they’ll follow through responsibly.
I think when we realize people are all a mix of good and bad, we’re more likely to be responsible with what is in our hands.

The unconfirmed report (ie: gossip) from another forum, which did not include a source, is that George showed up to help with the effort to find Haleigh Cummings on Wednesday and to lend emotional support, evidently made statements at lunch about his own case that somehow rubbed the Sheffield and Cummings family wrong. Several family members told him they didn’t need him to take the focus away from finding Haleigh, and that he ought to go home and take care of his own house. That is why he has not been back.

do not doubt this story at all because George’s initial statements at the search center was a reprimand to “NOT JUDGE THIS FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT” with iron fist visible and promoted his new partnership with Kid Finders Network. There were reports on the ground that the Cummings family seemed to be distant to LE after his arrival, which indicates to me that he was projecting his & his wife’s feelings about cooperating with police & interaction with the media unto this family. The Anthony’s attorney, Brad Conway felt it fit to make TWO media statements one to locals, the other in an interview with ABC news about the George going to Satsuma & that Cindy was getting in touch with media to make sure they covered Haleigh’s story…well no one needed Cindy to insert herself because the media was camped on site 5 days ago without her phone calls. They were there to interject their disdain for law enforcement & the media and project their public claim that they feel Casey is innocent when they know much different – Caylee was never a “missing child” case despite the Anthony’s lies.
I have no doubt George started talking about his case, dum move because anything he says can used against him because his family has NOT been cleared in any wrongdoing in either tampering with evidence or obstructing as accessories after the fact regarding protecting and supporting their daughter in her murder one charge. He just got out of a “suicide attempt” hospitalization & refuses to tell the truth of what he knows about his daughter’s involvement in his granddaughter’s murder. Caylee was NEVER missing & yet the Anthony family & KFN still portray it as such including having Caylee’s picture with a pink heart on the KFN billboard.
Myself and many did investigative work looking into Kid Finders Network & their new project with their new partners the Anthonys called House of Hope – Milstead is a convicted felon, has been assaultive to media personnel in the Caylee Anthony case, and has a fradulent business practice history. They have no reputable sponsors for years now & refuse to account for monies they have taken in by donations of the public. They all are not stable minded or upstanding individuals, Im not shocked & Im sure albeit “gossip” right now Im sure there were enough witnesses at the Haleigh search center to have overheard what transpired to confirm it.
The two cases have nothing to do with each other & the focus now should be solely on finding Haleigh without interference by outsiders or the Cummings family history via mudslinging & fingerpointing.

Here’s is a forum stating that Casey was a stripper for a couple of weeks at Dancer’s Royale. It states that she was pregnant at the time, but not yet really showing. Someone on there is verifying it through a friend of a friend (so who really knows?). Someone on there also mentions the fact that George did say in his interview when the Fusion pictures came out that those pictures were taken when Casey was pregnant. Do you think George and Cindy knew Casey was ‘stripping’ while pregnant and George didn’t really know they were Fusion pictures and thought they were Dancer’s Royale pictures? Interesting thought.

Why are investigators so sure that Caylee Anthony is dead and why do they believe she died on June 16th? Local 6 investigative reporter, Tony Pipitone has gone through 1000’s of documents related to this case in an effort to answer those questions and he believes her behavior starting early on the morning of the 16th points to that day as key.
According to Casey’s cell phone records, she had an 80 minute phone conversation with Tony Lazaro, that ended at 1: 05 in the morning. She then had a flurry of 24 text messages back and forth with Lazaro culminating in a 3:08 am phone call from him that lasted 14 minutes.
At 12:50pm on the 16th, George Anthony saw his granddaughter for the last time as Casey and Caylee left with backpacks. Casey told George that she was dropping Caylee at the nanny’s house and then going to work. That was the last time he saw Caylee.
7 hours later, just before 8:00 pm. Casey and Tony were caught on video at Blockbuster renting 2 movies. Caylee was no where in sight. Where was she? One of the movies rented was “Untraceable”. It contains a scene where an FBI agent being chased by a sadistic cyber-stalker opens the trunk of a car and is knocked back by the smell of a fly-infested rotting corpse. The killer had left the body in the trunk. Investigators believe Caylee’s body was left in the trunk of her mother’s car, where it decomposed and emited a horrific odor that Cindy Anthony correctly identified as a dead body.
Did Casey Anthony actually watch that movie with her child dead or dying in the trunk of her car? Does that movie have anything to do with Caylee Anthony? Not directly, but it is one more strange coincidence in a case fraught with coincidences.

Here’s the interview– and here goes…
Tony gives them access to his phone – he took a pic of Caylee on 6/2/08 in the afternoon- I think this is the pool party at his apt complex we’ve heard mentioned.
When he came back from NYC- Casey had nightmares, and he would find her covered in sweat- she said it was in reference to their relationship. Evidently he’d been joking w/her about dumping her and/or staying in NY and getting a job for a while. He said he liked to push her buttons – which he said were easily pushed—so when he did that (talked about dumping her) she freaked out – very emotional- he could tell from her voice. So he woke up to her having these nightmares anywhere from 2-4 times since he got back in town (which was 7/5). Good- I’m glad she was having nightmares (I have too)! I wonder if she’s still having them? Or has she pushed it so far away?
He makes it sound like there was no issue over the relationship in jeopardy due to the child- he was just joking about moving on. But I do recall, I think it was his roommate who made it clear that there was at least some discussion that it was a bachelor pad, revolving door, 24/7 and not a good place for a toddler. This brings to mind the Diane Downs case- her kids were so inconvenient.
Tony never heard her on the phone w/the (imaginary) nanny. Its hard to get imaginary people to call you. She had a special ring tone for Cindy (a rap song- ha! I wonder what that was?) and would ALWAYS go outside and take those calls in private. He would ask about Caylee and always get the Disney wkd pass, the at the beach w/the nanny…those type stories.
The week after they met (on 5/24)- he invited Casey over for a double date hang out w/his roommate Clint and girlfriend Maria. Casey couldn’t come – blamed Caylee not having fallen asleep yet- (said she was w/the nanny and kids- kinda convoluted story). But point is – Caylee was seemingly cramping her style w/new boyfriend. Not good.
He says he met Jesse at a party, Casey introduced him as a friend and he later found out that it was her ex-fiance. Lee implied it was typical behavior for her to have another relationship ‘at the ready’ before moving on and perhaps to overlap love interests and evidently she was keeping Jesse and maybe even Ricardo on the side for a bit—not to mention the marine in CA- over the phone. Busy girl. June 1st was the first time they were intimate and she didn’t stay the night bc her mommy wouldn’t let her. He comments about sex “picking up” each week. Caylee never stayed overnight but Casey was a ‘regular’ from around the time of the hip-hop showcase at Fusion which was 6/13. I don’t think she was actually a regular until after the huge fight that happened on Father’s Day 6/15 when supposedly neighbors heard them screaming and Cindy actually had her hands on Casey’s neck!
Tony went w/Casey to the Anthony house that week for gas– never went inside- didn’t know she was stealing it. On 6/11 or 12 Casey went in and changed Caylee before they went to Mall at Millenia where he passed out flyers for hip hop show, which was 6/13- he bought them dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. They also went there (Anthony home) on a different day (thinks it was the wk of 6/22-2 to get gas cans again—still didn’t know she stole it. I’m unclear of the dates here- this interviewer interrupts CONSTANTLY its extremely annoying- was he raised in a barn? That’s soo rude- I’m talking to you too Ms. Nancy Grace.
We know her car was found when manager arrived at Amscot 6/27 at 7AM. So she probably dropped that car off 6/26 – abandoning it obviously. That matched w/her coming home (surprised to find George there) on 6/24 and him busting her w/the gas cans. What was significant, to me, in the Lee intv was the revelation that Casey may have blocked George from car at all and handed him the cans before he would have even been close enough to smell anything—this is unverified bc George’s story differs- he says he got them himself…hmmm- who to believe? If you watch Greta On the Record interview w/the Anthony’s at home (link later) there’s something up when they’re talking about this and Cindy appears to coach him a bit and touches him – during this part- signaling him?? Who knows? So, yeah, whom to believe….I don’t like my options, sadly.
So when Tony picks her up at Amscott- she has items he said appeared to be from the Anthony home- grocery items in plastic bags. I don’t know how he knew they were from home? But its interesting to me that he said she had freezer pops and frozen chicken—like—you have to come get me I have frozen stuff! -and also like—see I have popsicles for you and I’ll cook you chicken and sleep w/you and do your laundry!– PLEASE come get me. He also says she didn’t want to “bother” him w/taking care of car w/gas and all that hassle- bc she knew he was busy w/school. So he said that she was already out of the car when he pulled up…OF COURSE she was, bc she was ditching that car -it was reeking of decomposition at the time and she didn’t want darling boyfriend near anything quite so distasteful. GRR!
Watching Nancy (from way up high on her soapbox) right now- ugh. She just mentioned- that most of Casey’s clothes were gone from the house but NONE of Caylee’s- no jammies, no clothes, no toys, NOTHING- not even the little doll that she never went anywhere w/out…the little doll she called mama. That makes me really sad. That doll was found in the car- unclothed- whatever that means, but in the car, w/Caylee’s carseat—in the car that Casey said smelled SO badly due to squirrels having crawled up in the engine and died or George having hit a squirrel which Casey later told Amy – and she’d found it plastered to the frame…both stories are Casey’s- take your pick. FIELD OF LIES – if you build it Casey, she won’t come home. This case makes me very ANGRY! I wonder if the family has read all of these statements? The power of self delusion is PHENOMENAL! My heart goes out to EVERYONE involved in this case—its just ugly everywhere. Let’s all send thoughts and prayers out that the TRUTH can come to light. Resolution please! Justice for Caylee please!!!
Interesting- Tony said Casey picked him up from the airport in his Jeep- she had washed it and pointed out the car wash on the way home. Did the police ever search his car? I’ve never heard they did.
So Tony’s just rolling along thinking everything’s great- this girl- though clingy- is clearly here to please until…. Amy puts the smack down on Casey and all hell breaks loose. Most of this is covered in the Lee summary but here’s what Tony had to say about D day- July 15th. He and his roommate are playing video games on the couch w/Casey – who is on her laptop—deleting her yahoo mail among other things no doubt—when there’s a knock on the door, they say come in, and in walks Amy.
He describes Amy as coming in and just standing there w/a “miserable face” …they were confused but Casey got right up and went outside w/her… only to be confronted w/an ENRAGED Cindy- surely that’s part of what Casey was waking up in cold sweats about. Good.
Anyway, the boys go back to video games- till Casey comes back in, Cindy tells her to get her stuff, Casey says no- I’m coming back. Tony, having never met Cindy before, invites her in and introduces himself. To which Cindy replies “Well, I hope you’re rich bc Casey will take all of your money and leave you high and dry!” Poor Tony- he’s thoroughly confused. Casey tells her mother to shut up and storms out the door.
So after they leave Tony tries to text Casey- but he hears her phone go off- she left it there. I’m sure she would like to have “left” it wherever she “left” that “blackjack” phone bc the tale of the changing phone numbers and the swapping of the sim cards is FLIMSY at best. Casey’s plan was not finished yet- she was not ready to launch into these lies- damn that Amy. I’m not sure now long she thought she had- idiot. Amy had just returned from vacation- how long did she think it would be before she discovered her “friend” Casey had robbed her blind??
Tony has not seen Casey since this date but there is some ambiguous mention in this interview about investigative leads that he agrees to cooperate w/LE about and they don’t want to discuss it on this tape! So I’m thinking he agreed to record phone conversations w/Casey- we all heard how desperate she was to talk to him that night from jail—“OMG calling you guys—a waste…huge waste” and “all anyone cares about is finding Caylee” – this is one scary individual. I wish they would release more- more- more!
I know hind sight is 20/20 but DAMN, I wish they had let her trap herself a little more. I’m worried about the forensics. I think Caylee may be in a landfill now- Casey seems to have gotten ever more confident that she won’t be found. Heartbreaking. The defense attorneys are gloom and doom- saying that the Orlando LE doesn’t have “the goods” on her- that the DNA is not going to hold up- too degenerated. Dear God, lets hope that’s not true!

Annie knows about Casey’s drug use. She was the one who texted Casey about the Xanax. According to friends, Annie knew how to get drugs. I believe that Annie knows that Casey was drugging Caylee. She probably knows what kind of drugs Casey was using. This isn’t going to make Annie look very good because she was providing Casey with those drugs, even though she knew that Casey was using them to drug her child. My guess is that the prosecution struck a deal with Annie in exchange for the drug information.
No Other Information. I too feel that she has been given immunity for telling about the drug involvement. I read on another forum that someone thought she worked for a veterinarian, and could obtain chloroform easily.. something to do with treatment of an animal. I just don’t know what it, and a pets treatment would entail though, unless it would have something to do with having a pet put to sleep??
Of course LE are holding back releasing certain information, but the question is what information (or who’s). There is suggestion that another individual may be charged in relation to Caylee’s death – but who and what for? How do LE know (on what withheld evidence do you imagine) that another individual was potentially involved prior to, during, or after little Caylee’s death?
A big mystery relates to what Annie Dowling (a friend of Casey’s) is able to offer in terms of relevant information. Annie is referred to by several people in the transcript, but we have not seen or heard anything about this witness (and she is on the prosecution’s witness list). What information do you think that Annie has that is so critical that it has been withheld so far from public inspection? My guess, and I could be incredibly wrong, is perhaps Annie had knowledge of Casey giving Caylee xanax in the past, which would provide supporting evidence for the conclusion that Casey did indeed give Caylee chloroform in the months leading up to Caylee’s death…
From what we’ve seen in terms of the evidence released, I *know* that we haven’t seen the most damning information yet. The police rarely reveal the most significant information before trial, and even without this information we are still, as observers, able to develop the case that Casey is guilty. So what information is LE withholding?
As I mentioned above, Annie Dowling has something significant to offer – if not, we would have read her transcripts with everything else.
Secondly, I think that there is more to Casey’s cell phone records than what we’ve seen… particularly in relation to communication with Annie Dowling and potentially other people of significance… such as text messages. The records we have access to have been edited… what’s the reason?
We haven’t been given any information on any of the forensic examinations that would have occurred based on items found within the house (such as those clothes that were taken after the car was removed). Also, we haven’t had any information given on the shovel, and potentially what trace material was found on this.
Also, what about findings within the house. If Casey was chloroforming Caylee, then surely these chemicals, or a bottle of chloroform, could have been found within the house? (although I do think that Casey would have gotten rid of any prepared chloroform after Caylee died).
Padilla (the bounty hunter not the spokesperson for LE) indicated that the dumpster was important. Was anything found in relation to the dumpster? Is this where Casey got rid of supporting incriminating evidence such as leftover chloroform, the clothes Caylee was wearing when she died, etc?
Did the LE release all of the relevant information related to Casey’s shopping trips? What about the credit card statements of Cindy and George (she was using Cindy’s credit card).
And, finally, notice how in every interview with someone who has a social connection with Casey the issue of drug use arises? Surely after being told multiple times by those people who’s transcripts have been released that Casey didn’t use drugs (other than pot), why do LE pursue this line of questioning? Especially in reference to Xanax? I know that Zany the nanny already alludes to xanax, but my feeling is that one of these interviews actually reveals a connection that Casey had to this drug…
It is weird that lots of interviews with LE and Casey’s friends have been released but NOT Annie’s interview! I’ve been curious about that one….Another thing that I’m curious about is what she purchased at JCPenney using Cindy’s JCP credit card….those things have been bugging me!

My guess, and I could be incredibly wrong, is perhaps Annie had knowledge of Casey giving Caylee xanax in the past, which would provide supporting evidence for the conclusion that Casey did indeed give Caylee chloroform in the months leading up to Caylee’s death…
a pattern of behaviour by Casey that may effectively be a nail in the coffin of Casey’s defense. Honestly, I just think it’s interesting that we’ve read about practically all of Casey’s friends, except for Annie… I can’t help but think that there is a reason as to why Annie’s interview wasn’t released… maybe some sort of bombshell evidence?
Hi all, I’ve been lurking for months and reading everything, interviews, reports and most threads on this site. In some of the discovery docs of the investigative reports cell phone records (can’t find them now) I noticed a pattern of calls and text messages from Casey to Annie Downing. It seemed to me during the time Casey was AWOL, nearly every time Casey had an incoming call or text from Cindy/George within minutes there was an outgoing to Annie D. (drugs to calm the nerves? who knows). Also, during G and C jailhouse video visit, when Cindy tells Casey all that Annie was doing to help ie. t-shirts, posters etc. Casey makes the comment about how nice or sweet and helpful of Annie. But if you notice during Lee’s jailhouse video visit, when he is going down a list and asking Casey who he can trust/not trust, Annie and Melina are the first names he asks about and Casey says “definately NOT” to trust these two girls. Well anyway

Cindy Anthony is not my favorite person either, but to those few who chose this forum to mock her singing ability: please understand that when you post something like that, you paint all of us with that petty brush. As I wrote before, I think the Anthonys are sick, and Lee is creepy. I base my opinon on their actions at Caylee’s so-called memorial. Personal “playground-type” attacks not related to this case make us seem shrill and immature. We’re all thoughtful people who simply demand justice for a murdered little girl. I have a real problem with Lee’s CMA shout out at Caylee’s memorial. Lee referred to Caylee by name during his speech. Then, in closing, he refers to CMA – why the code when you already said Caylee’s name? Review what he said & listen to how his voice changes during the CMA talk. He speaks like a lover, not an uncle or brother. I also find it strange that he would tell his neice that he was proud of her & that he hoped she was proud of him – no, I think that is something he would more likely say to Casey. It is also been reported that he has a CMA tattoo and people have speculated that it was for Caylee. However, without knowing when it was done, who is to say it was for both Caylee and Casey? Still, I find it strange that he would get a tattoo that bears the initials of his niece and sister on his body – that tells me there is perhaps more to his “relationship” to both Mother & child. Last, why did Lee have a computer on during his speech at the memorial – did he have video capability & was allowing Casey to watch him during this event?
I watched the Nancy Grace special with the jail visits to Casey by Cindy and George…
Honestly, when I watch those tapes I keep thinking that Cindy wants to choke Casey but is restraining herself…having to word things so that Casey does not go off on her and explode like she normally does…
This blows me away that Cindy is so full of anger inside I can see it, but how she cow-tails to Casey only occassionally bucking her and when she does, Casey hisses at her that she does not want to talk to her put dad on…
Dad, George… well he is peace at all costs. Very disfunctional…I find it frustrationing listening to them coddle her.

Look, you know damn good and well that stupid act Cindy put on was BS…she like everyone else knows that her daughter killed that precious little baby…including you!
Immature? not in the least, I am outraged that woman and family used that little girls memorial as a forum to promote support for the person who killed her…you know it as does everyone else including the Anthony’s.
You give me one example of a family who has lost a family member to a horrible act and has acted this way, just one…did Laci Peterson’s family act like this, did Polly Klass’s family, Jessica Lunsford, Danielle Van Dam, Samantha Runnion, I could go on and on, give me one just one…
My expression on this site is an attempt to voice frustration and disbelief about a situation that is completely unreal. Not trying to be a BIOTCH just outraged about a tiny little angel taken from this earth in a manner that no one deserves no one and the attempt to try and memorialize her in such a way is completely wrong..

American Idol Audition, in my mind, was the nicest way I could find to express my disgust about how that woman acted at time when she should have been mournful, respectful QUIET!!!
I sat and watched that memorial and cried like I knew that poor little girl and her own family who did know her smiled, sang, and took that event and turned what started out as lovely into a Support Casey Telethon, who does that…?
So, speak your mind, we are all outraged we are all disgusted and saddened by this story and many others, sometimes I voice my opinion in a Smart A$$ kind of way…trying to find some light in the darkness, by voicing our feelings is the only way we can let the pain out..

Alleged baby killer Casey Anthony kept a gruesome “paint by numbers” diary describing how, when and where she murdered her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, says a source who claims prosecutors will enter the 14-page, hand-written journal into evidence at Anthony’s trial for murder.
“… the little snot … I’ll fix her …” the diary is alleged to say in part.
“First, a little cloroform (sp) and then (illegible). She won’t know. She’ll be a lot better off …”
Authorities declined to comment on the source’s report, but they did say that “anything pertinent to the case will be presented” as evidence in court.
Friends of Anthony, 23, are on record as having told Orange County, Florida, sheriff’s investigators and reporters that she had spoken of a journal prior to her arrest for murder last fall.
But, until now, nobody had ever suggested that such a document had been found.
A blow-by-blow account of murder, in a defendant’s own handwriting, would be damning, say legal observers, especially if, as claimed by the source, the journal was written in advance of the killing.
“That’s premeditated murder in the first degree, and that puts the death penalty on the table,” explained a legal expert who contributes regularly to a cable news show and, by contract, must remain anonymous in non-cable reports.
“I hope to God the diary is legit,” the expert continued. “If Casey Anthony is guilty, I don’t want any ambiguity in the courtroom. Her family deserves closure. The stronger the evidence, the better for everyone involved.”
Anthony was arrested and charged with the murder of her daughter, Caylee, after the little girl went missing last June. Her skeletonized remains were discovered just weeks ago.
Coincidentally, earlier this week, a psychic claimed to have ” seen in a vision” Anthony murder baby Caylee with bug killer and chloroform.
The source who leaked information about Anthony’s alleged ”murder diary” says authorities believe the illegible diary entry following the misspelled word “cloroform” in the excerpt reprinted above is, in fact, “pesticide”, which is, of course, bug killer.
The FBI can do forensic testing to determine the approximate age of ink. This will enable them to tell if it’s “aged” for for a long time. They use this to validate wills, and many other ink writings!

there laughing and smiling like he was at a sports
bar laughing with friends..something makes me
think that maybe he was the one that helped her
get rid of the childs body..that he knows more
then what he is saying..and whats up with the
family talking about forgiveness at the funeral

to starfish. the something on caylees hand is a childs tattoo of..2 hearts intertwined.. imagine that!! then if you look at the same photo on other sites you will see where this photo has been doctered so to speak and the tattoo removed!!! i noticed this a few months back.. i took a magnifying glass and saw what was on her hand… try it and you wil also see the hearts… and check on other sites and you’ll also see where her pic is doctered!!
