Obama Hits Head Boarding Marine One … Imagine if GWB Had done This … SNL Would Have a Field Day

SNL made fun of Gerald Ford when he tripped, they made fun of Bush when he got sick at a dinner, they even made fun of Bob Dole, a wounded war veteran when his hand slipped on a rail … so where is the obligatory Obama skit?

File this one under Three Stooges humor … President Barack Obama bumps head boarding Marine One … DOH! According to the AP, he misjudged the height of the doorway. I am glad they took the opportunity to explain the reason why “The One” bumped his noggin, because if it had been George W. Bush it would have been because he is a clutz and a doofus.

President Barack Obama is still getting used to some details of his new life, including the fact he has to duck when boarding his presidential helicopter.

The 6-foot-1-inch Obama bumped his head Monday morning when boarding Marine One on the White House’s south lawn. He misjudged the doorway and banged his head on the low doorway.

Who said Obama does not do anything worthy of late night talk show humor? Although on a more serious note, “The Chosen One’s” misjudging of the door of Marine One might just be a metaphor for his handling of a so-called stimulus plan.

If Bush banged his head he would be known as a even more of a retard. But When Obama does its OK.

Obama is in for many lumps … a stimulus that is not a stimulus will come back to ruin him.

Wait for the inflation when they start printing Obama dollars.

Greta had the line of the night … we are trusting a govt who cant count 100K votes to count $1 trillion.

My understanding is that OSHA has already opened an accident investigation and is expected to require “hard hats” for all government employees engaged in similar activities in the future.

just wait for SNL or Late Night shows, they might well do something about it.

or they will do something about the sore losers on the right who everytime Obama does something start crying because poor GWB was so badly treated… pathetic whiners!!

barry obama has just committed grand theft bailout against our country. he has signed a suicide note for the American People.
shame on the unknowlegeable who helped him buy the presidency. your kids will suffer because of this wanna be who can’t even walk through a door without banging his head.

to realize obama’s total incompetence, read jim jubak’s article on the 500,000.00 bonus cap for executives. all empty words from obama. this will have little to no effect on how much money these people will walk away with.
obama thought he was fooling the public, when he actually didn’t even know that he is giving these people even more money to waste. what a dumbass !

Interesting that a lot of democrats and the people of Elkhart, Indiana (location of Obama’s dog and pony show) are expressing that they don’t think the spending package is going to help. Even the MSM is expressing doubts.

Apparently few people outside the beltway believe in it, yet Obama and Pelosi continue to “fiddle” while Rome burns.

    15. ANewGirl on February 11th, 2009 5:29 am

Rome is burning, indeed. After Obama’s first Presidential Public Address… Stock Market down over 8% yesterday, he’s putting our Nation in “panic mode”…. Thanks, Obama.

Add on to that , more huge lay-off announcements and THE CHOSEN ONE is defending himself by blaming the current state of our Economy ENTIRELY on GWB. Americans are not that stupid, really.

Still, no one listened to John McCain when he said last week he thought the PRESIDENTIAL PORK PACKAGE was not the correct solution. It’s just more of the same, only in disguise??? Some folks will just never, get it. Carry On, Barry!
SM: The economy he inherited? Much like the recession that GW inherited from Clinton and the nightmare that Reagan inherited from Carter.

However, The One might want to fact check himself as to who caused the banking scandals and which party was running the machine, ah Barney Franks and Dodd.

Obama has not figured out that its all on him now. No excuses and no blaming … you wanted the job, fix it.

    16. Rusty Bridges on February 11th, 2009 7:51 am

“Obama has not figured out that its all on him now. No excuses and no blaming … you wanted the job, fix it.”

Exactly, he acts like this came at him and blind sided him when he ran his campain on fixing this mess and changing washington.

And please President Obama, stop saying that americans want to work hard and have hard working jobs. We work hard, we want our hard work to mean something so when we get to be 70 we aren’t still working hard. We want the same for the next generations to come.

Do what you promised and fix this country that you claim is broken. Because it might have had some broken parts, now it is really F’d up

We want full acounting on where this money is going this time. We already had our hard earned money go to the auto makers who are now announcing layoffs and shutdowns. Where did that money go? Don’t bother, we already know. We just want it back.

We have all seen the drunken sailors take our money and buy a round for the elite and we are pissed.

So if you want a “historic” second term you better do as you promised, get that b@#$! Pelosi under control and get a real handle on this mess. We are watching and some of us aren’t as stupid as you might think. Others might not be fooled again.

I’m sorry if anybody does not like my rant, I hit my head too, last night about twenty times on the wall when I heard that the “stick one in us” bill passed.

    18. scott on February 11th, 2009 9:33 am

Pathetic whiners? Nope that Pelosi, Reid and Obama himself. And of course you!

He acts like Bush did not work very hard to make his transition one of the smoothest in presidential history. I believe he sat in those meeting picking his nose.

He was the one, according to EVERYONE, that was actually acting as the President before his inaugaration!

He along with his TAX cheat Geihtner have no more of an idea to fix the economy then his predecessor.

    19. ANewGirl on February 11th, 2009 9:48 am

Side Note: Ironically…. this a.m. also listened to the blubbering, lisping IDIOT that IS Barney Frank this morning going over the current MESS…….he is STILL talking about Fannie Mae…STILL FINGER POINTING!!! STILL BLAMING any & every REP he can for the EXACT MESS WHICH HE IS PARTLY RESPONSIBLE for creating & approving for Congress!

Sorry I can’t update on the rest of his responses & rhetoric about the banking industry & credit crunch, etc, since, suddenly had to leave the room due to an overwhelming feeling of nausea. Ugh! =(

SM: The economy he inherited? Much like the recession that GW inherited from Clinton and the nightmare that Reagan inherited from Carter.

yeah, right. some more revisionist history.
the recession only started in March 2001.
so GWB didn’t inherit a recession from Clinton.

the current recession however did start in December 2007.

    23. scott on February 11th, 2009 2:41 pm

caesu – go away…your facts are skewed. Bush INDEED did inherit a recession from Clinton…that is a FACT; albiet not as bad as this one, but don’t throw shit in the fan or it will hit you right back in your food stamp begging face!

Because of Clinton’s policies, yes a recession; Bush wasn’t even in office but a mere two months, where his policies did not take effect…what a dipshit you are…

So when the depression hits after Obama’s passes his SPENDULUS bill, and creates the WELFARE state he wants, we can then say Obama caused the depression. You’re a tool!

superdave – she met with White House officials who called the Florida Housing Department and TOLD them to set that poor excuse with a home. Is he going to do that for every non mortgage paying person…caesu – hurry up you can still maybe get a cardboard box and blankie from Obama!

Oh how nice, the Democrats shut out the Republicans during the Conference report; going back AGAIN on another campaign lie by Obama, that these behind closed doors meetings would cease.

When are people going to wake up and see this guy is a LIAR, a typical politician, and a manipulator by using words he thinks America can’t understand. America is on to him and his bullshit. He is arrogant, angry and not as charming or as good a speaker without a teleprompter.

He “ugh, umm, dadada, liiii, STAMMERS, STUDDERS.

    24. caesu on February 11th, 2009 6:33 pm

      #23 scott

you clearly don’t know what you are talking about.
the date a recession started gets determined when the recession is already months or even a year ongoing.
in March 2001 the economy was at it’s peak.
      that’s what Bush inherited.
yes, and then Bush’ policies started to kick in – there it was, all went downhill – a recession.

now it will take at least a year for Obama’s policies to kick in.
maybe by that time stabilization of job losses at best.

but self described ‘patriots’ would love to see their country collapse.
just so they can blame it on Obama.

      Walking Eagle

President Obama was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation in Arizona. He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every Native American’s present standard of living. He referred to his career as Senator of Illinois, how he had signed “YES” for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval. Although the President was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his “red brothers.”At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented the President with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name — Walking Eagle. The proud President then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they aome to select the new name given to the President. They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of s**t it can no longer fly.

#15 New Girl – Since you believe Harry Truman was one of the greatest Presidents to ever hold office, it would seem that you are being disingenuous in your comments…a sheeple if you will. What a “shocker”. lol:

“The republicans believe the the power of government should be used first of all to help the rich and the privileged in the country. With them, property, wealth, comes first. The Democrats believe that the power of government should be used to give the common man more protection and a chance to make a living. With us the people come first.”

“We should resolve now that the health of this nation is a national concern; that financial barriers in the way of attaining health shall be removed; that the health of all it’s citizens deserves the help of all the nation.”

“Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to help him go broke. They stand four-square for the American home–but not for housing. They are strong for labor–but they are stronger for restricting labor’s rights. They favor minimum wage–the smaller the better. The endorse educational opportunity for all–but they won’t spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine–for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing–but only when the private power companies get their rake-off. They think the American standard of living is a fine thing–so long as it doesn’t spread to all the people. And they admire the Government of the United States so much they would like to buy it.”

“I do not understand a mind which sees a gracious beneficence in spending money to slay and maim human beings in almost unimaginable numbers and deprecates the expenditure of a smaller sum to patch up the ills of mankind.”

“Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a Republican. But I repeat myself.”

      Harry Truman

New Girl: “I will think now of the words of who I believe was indeed one of the greatest Presidents to ever hold office, Harry Truman.”

#28- Yoyo—The only shocker here is that you are still a complete IDIOT trying to pass as a functioning Adult. What the hell is wrong with you, anyway? I do believe Truman was one of the greatest Presidents ever—so your POINT IS?? What exactly?

I’m an Independent, you Dufus–so that means in my party- I’m allowed to vote for DEM or REP. I do so based upon whom I believe is the best QUALIFIED and EXPERIENCED indivudual to lead this Nation. We didn’t have very good choices in this year’s election, YoYo, IMO. Also, to be fair- DEM or REP…Politicians are basically all the same in one way or another- there aren’t too many around that are trustworthy or ethical. To me, they can be all the same at time—some are just better Politicians than others.

So, stop trying to sell me on your boy Obama because I am not buying the BS you are handing out. He’s merely a Socialist, disguised as a Democrat and a very inexperienced one at that. Guess you weren’t paying attention in College when you took American Political History in the 21st Century, either–you dumbass–GET WITH THE PROGRAM, WILL YOU???????

Please excuse me while I ignore the rest of your ridiculous post since I don’t have a clue what they heck your argument is based on, nor do I care. Glad to see though that you seem to enjoy so much time reminiscing over my old posts on the board. Quick suggestion for you: Don’t quit your day job and GET A LIFE while you are at it!

No sir…I guess the professionals who stated Bush inherited a recession from Clinton are fools and don’t know what they are talking about and you do? Right whatever….. You stated the recession started in March 2001 (go back and re-read), yet now you say it was at its peak?!? Bullshit! I wonder why everyone was talking about how much the economy got better after 9/11 into 2004? Whatever…you’re a fool!

Geez, You are a global warming and an economy expert all wrapped up in one….NOT!

Nice tax cuts to 95% of Americans! HAHAHAHAHA! A whopping $13 per week from June 09 to January 10 then it drops to $8. All economists are saying this will do little to boost the economy. Maybe you can buy a life with the $52 per month you will receive. Or at least it will allow you to buy all the crack cocaine you want!

You know nothing about federal law, appropriations and how quickly it will take Obama policies to kick in. NOTHING!

Just like a liberal to blame Bush policies.

It’s ALL on Obama now, whether you like it or not. He’s the man in charge and so far he’s not doing such a great job. He has gone back on so much campaign rhetoric that I’ve stopped counting.

The markets are tanking even more based on fears of Obama’s plan….

Maybe you can call Pelosi and get a free mouse with the $30M we taxpayers spent to protect them?

    34. scott on February 12th, 2009 2:35 pm

Yeah she sell yo-yos on the side from her prostitution duties.

Truman was famous for a sign that he kept in the Oval Office on his desk, which said:

Wonder what THE CHOSEN ONE may have for his new slogan,

“The $789 Billion Pork Barrel Bend-Over-America-and-take-it-Up-the-Ass Stimulus Plan STARTS HERE”

Now, that’s real change we can believe in. Nice Job….Thanks, Barry. My Children’s Grandchildren will still be paying for this one come 2025.

    36. Pat in Alabama on February 12th, 2009 11:05 pm

Here’s an idea. If we could oragnize millions of Americans to flush their $13 every month on the same day at the same hour and minute, we would overload plumbing and sewer systems nationwide. The bursting pipes would put plumbers to work and create a need for new apprentices (jobs!) Further, all those pipes would need to be replaced, boosting the pipe manufacturers, the steel, plastic and concrete industries, not to mention trucking and fuel for transport! Everntually we would all get our $13 trickling back to us.

This could turn our whole economic picture around! Stimulus!
