Is Todd Black Gil Cabot?
Hinky – Acting suspiciously; strange, unusual; acting in a manner as if having something to hide, or seemingly crooked.
If your like us, your collective hinky alarms sounded at defcon 3 when this character in the Casey Anthony saga was introduced to be the spokesperson for Attorney Jose Baez.
Was it the fact that his pressers’ read like the work of my 12 year old’s submission from “if you had this career, what would you sound like” contest? Perhaps the fact that it appears he used an ACTUAL typewriter? For most, the clincher was definitely the CNN assertions of Baby Caylee’s death. There is only one reason a PR *cough* rep does not get canned after such a debacle.
He owns or has the right to own, a slice of your hide.
A quick search on IMD… Todd Black is a very well known, highly successful Hollywood producer. I would expect the man to have a part on Entourage any day. Not this Todd.
From his first presser, where he included the TN phone number, owned by him, as a principal of the inactive Aim Production Company, in Nashville, TN, Mr. Black earned himself a file.
Gil Cabot, apparently a bi-coastal expert in adverse media coverage, albeit his own, is probably not the best representative for Mr. Baez’s office as “Gil Cabot”. The elusive and camera shy, newest alter-ego of Gil Cabot bursts into the Big Top. No clown car arrival as apparently there really is a limit as to how many aliases can fit in there at once. Gil was just plain Gil for his stints in the big house in the late 80’s and 90’s for grand theft and attempted extortion of Entertainment Tonight’s Jann Carl during a meeting. His criminal file also reflects the alias Jerome Bradley.

This begs the question- why should an inconsequential tid-bit like being an ex-con and having multiple aliases get in the way of the experience in acquiring “true life” story rights? Is it me or does almost everyone involved in the fringe of this case look like they were found on Craigslist?

Anyone have any thoughts as to why, if he is not on the Casey Anthony defense team, or a spokesperson for Baez, or any other affiliation he is currently denying, does he have a phone registered to Lorena Baez? Where do we suppose this number turns up on Dom Casey or Lee Anthony’s records?

The thought of someone scamming and getting paid for the privlege over this dead child makes me ill. I sincerely hope they do not get away with it.

Long before the remains of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony were discovered in December, deep fractures in the troubled Anthony family had already emerged, PEOPLE reports in its new cover story, on sale Friday.
On Jan. 22, George Anthony – whose daughter Casey, 22, is scheduled to go on trial in March for the murder of her daughter Caylee – was found by authorities in a Daytona Beach, Fla., motel room after sending suicidal text messages.
George, 57, and his wife Cindy, 50, “are both suffering beyond what you can imagine,” says the family’s attorney Brad Conway.
In an interview with the FBI last year, George said that he and his wife had separated for more than six months starting at the end of 2005. They reconciled, but there was no mistaking the rift between them.
“I’ve watched Cindy berate George over the littlest thing, just nasty, mean stuff,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She’ll say, ‘George, you’re so stupid,’ in front of his friends.”
Strained Relationships
Meanwhile, the relationship between Cindy and Casey – well before Caylee’s murder – was even more strained. “They were always at each other’s throats about something,” says the source.
“Cindy would tell Casey she was immature, and Casey would tell Cindy she was ruining her life. They couldn’t communicate if it wasn’t for their fighting and bickering.”
In emails dated August, after Caylee’s disappearance, bitter tensions emerged between Cindy and her brother Rick Pleasea. “Casey is the only person that really knows where Caylee is and what really happened to her,” Rick wrote to Cindy on Aug. 11, 2008.
“She is playing you, George and Lee like a base [sic] fiddle and has for years. You need to wake up.”

I think you just put your finger on why every time I post something about this crime, I feel like someone is behind the scene writing a story. My intuition has told me since the beginning, this is about money. Question is: Was it prearranged or is it being orchestrated, or a little of both? Speaking for myself, I wouldn’t buy a ticket to watch the movie. The reality of it all, is just too much… a little bit Casey goes a long way!

I’ve been asking questions about this company since Caylee was reported missing. This company, Aim Production Company of Nashville, Tennessee, bought the rights to make a movie on this case within the first week, if I recall correctly. And, then, Padilla bailed Casey out. Since then, it seemed like Padilla was making stuff up for people, knew all the private investigators and everyone on the who’s who list involved with this case. Ofcourse, then, they found Caylee and now things have changed a little; except, now, it’s all about Baez. I think that’s why people were so outraged. No one, it seemed cared about Caylee. It’s been a three-ring circus since, even, before the searches started.
I wouldn’t go see the movie either. It seems so dirty, underhanded and wrong. It’s a sad day when the people that are supposed to care about their grand child are diverted by ‘public relations advisors and attorneys. Something seems to have steered this family in the wrong direction since the very beginning…

An Orange County overruled Thursday the motion filed by Jose Baez, Anthony’s attorney.
If Casey refuses to to appear in court, she will be physically forced to go
I hope they bring her into court, chained and shackled. Have her go back to making baby steps, every single day of this trial. Let her put on her make-up and bulge out those eyes; tear at her fists and call herself the ‘steel magnolia’. I think she lost her sweet smell long ago and has been wilted on the branch for far too long. She deserves the death penalty for all the lying and scheming she’s done against her daughter… as should anyone else who participated in this crime.

The spokesman for Casey Anthony’s defense attorney isn’t who he says he is.
Todd Black told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday that Todd Black isn’t his real name, and he wouldn’t give his true identity.
Black — whose news releases triggered a recent Florida Bar investigation into Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez — said his last name is an “abbreviated” form he’s used professionally in the past.
BUT WAIT, I thought Todd Black was not Baez’s spokesperson?

Any updates on the Nicole G. murder case? I find it odd that Zenieda Gonzales was described as being half black and half Puerto Rican (by Casey and was not picked out in a line up) while the real Zeneida Gonzales looks Hispanic. Had Nicole G and Zeneida ever cross eachother’s paths at the University to the point where one might think that Nicole was Zeneida?

Hope, I do not have any updates as to the Nicole G case. I do not think it is related to Caylee or Casey, but you may be right about a possible connection between the office break in or ZG and Nicole perhpas knowing one another, can’t say.
Lol, NG has known about TB for a while. If the SA’s office or Florida Bar opens another investigation into Baez, I think you will see the National press out him as we did.
I thought you had outed Giltodd months ago. I seem to remember he vehemently denied it. Sean K beat you up about it. I reckon they both owe you some lip-on-rear end time now. Funny that the PR firm response to his new outing by an FBI agent is that all his prison time gives him credibility to be the PR guy to the stars and politicians. I have never seen Politicos advertise that they want convicted felons for their close advisors.
