Edward Richardson Sentenced to 18 Years After Murdering Wife Sarah Richardson … Changed Facebook Status to Single
41 year old Edward Richardson was sentenced Thursday to 18 years after being convicted of stabbing his wife, 26 year old Sarah Richardson, to death in what became known as the “Facebook” murder. One never knows what is going to set someone off and make them capable of murder.
Why the Facebook murder? The British man became enraged and murdered his estranged wife, who had moved out one month earlier, after he learned that she changed her marital status on Facebook to single. Edward Richardson decided to confront his wife as she was not responding to his text messages.
Fiona Cortese, of the Crown Prosecution Service, said: “Richardson became enraged when Sarah changed her marital status on Facebook to single and decided to go and see her as she was not responding to his messages.
“He gained entry by breaking the front door window and made his way into the property.
Sarah Richardson had worked as a hairdresser in SandbachSarah Richardson
“Once inside he found Sarah in her bedroom and subjected her to a frenzied and brutal attack with a knife and then attempted to take his own life.

This is bazaar!
Eighteen years later, or less, we’ll be reading another story about him.
What did she do to drive him to this attack?
maybe it’s just me but one has to suspect a much older man who feels the need to be with such a younger female. could it be the need to CONTROL? certainly not an equal partner.
