Jennifer Kesse has been missing for nearly 3 years in Orlando, FL. Jennifer went 
missing on January 24, 2006. It is being reported that there is a new tip in the case as David Russ. a confessed murderer has come forward and claims he has information in the case of the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse.
A convicted killer may have some clues in one of Central Florida’s highest profile missing person’s case.
But two weeks ago the lawyer for a convicted killer contacts Drew Kesse, Jennifer’s father. While its not unusual for Kesse to get tips the latest came from a man involved ina high profile murder of a Central Florida woman.
“I think it just one more lead that has to be follow up on,” Kesse said. “If it turns out then we have something to go on.”
The tip came from David Russ who is currently in the Seminole County jail waiting to be sentenced after he pled guilty for the murder of Madeline Leinen in 2007. Russ asked to meet with Drew Kesse because he claims to have information about Jennifer’s disappearance.
Police will look into what Russ has said; however, they are skeptical and presently don’t believe he has the information that could break the case. It would appear that Russ has a vested interest in showing a sentencing judge that he is actually capable of being human and helping others in an effort to spare his life. David Russ is a confessed and convicted murderer.
Exclusive: Killer Could Hold Clues In Kesse Case
Convicted murderer David Byron Russ met privately with the father of Jennifer Kesse and provided information that could lead Orlando police detectives to one or more suspects in her disappearance.
Initially a spokes woman for the Orlando County Police did not comment on the story. Later she emailed the following statement:
“The information that David Russ gave to Mr. Kesse was nothing new. We knew about that several months, and our detectives checked into that. We won’t discuss that any further. This is NOT a big break in the case.”

This is distressing to read, but finally the family will maybe get answers, i have never forgotten Jennifer, her story was all the more baffelling because she vanished into thin air,unlike Natalee whos disappearence by all accounts COULD have been solved,but for a botched investigation, i will pray for Jennifer and her family.
I sure hope they find her so the family can find closure & peace.
Prayers again for this family and the amazing father who has fought for his daughter and other victims. I hope this leads to some answers.

Me, too. Jennifer was never far away from our thoughts. The persistence shown by Mr. Kesse along with his undying love for his daughter has kept her in our daily prayers.

yep, “waiting to be sentenced”… that pretty much sums it up. unless the creep can produce hard evidence. i don’t know how these families keep their faith during these cases.
