The defense attorney for tot mom Casey Anthony has filed and emergency court hearing after yesterday’s discovery of a small child’s remains near the home of missing Caylee Anthony’s grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony.

Kenney-Baden will be joining Casey’s attorney, Jose Baez, in court at 11:30 a.m. Friday morning for an emergency hearing to preserve evidence gathered on Thursday. The motion was filed by Baez on Thursday afternoon. We will be streaming the hearing live on MyFoxOrlando.com.
“I’m concerned about my client, period. We are requesting to have access to this information,” said Baez. “As it [evidence] is being tested, we would like our people present, especially if it’s destructive in nature by the testing.” (Fox Orlando)

During a news conference Thursday evening, Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, confirmed that she was upset when she found out about the remains being found and requested a sedative at the jail. Sources described Casey Anthony’s reaction as an anxiety attack.
Baez went to the Orange County Jail Thursday afternoon to be with his client. Later Thursday, he filed an emergency motion to ensure his involvement in the testing of the newly found remains. A hearing is scheduled for Friday at 11:30.

The defense team better get used to bad news these days after a child’s body was found yesterday close to the family home of George and Cindy Anthony. The prosecution was bring murder one case against tot mom Casey Anthony prior to “potential” remains being discovered. When the remains are officially ID’d as Caylee’s, Casey Anthony will be facing an even greater mountain of evidence.
Judge Stan Strickland after hearing arguments from both the defense and prosecution has denied the defense motion filed for access to the autopsy of Caylee Anthony. Basically, because no formal ID has been given to the child remains found yesterday, the defense has no standing to insinuate themselves in the private evidence that could turn out to be not Caylee Anthony. The defense wanted their experts to be present during an autopsy of an individual that they do not know legally to even be that of missing Caylee Anthony.
Defense Team for Casey Anthony denial motion … no soup for you.
Jose Baez and his defense team seem to have their cart before the horse and are assuming that the remains found yesterday are that of missing Caylee Anthony. One wonders why they are so certain that the remains found are Caylee.

I am believing this is little Caylee.
I am glad they found her. George and
Cindy need to bury their beloved granddaughter.
I do feel for them even though Cindy
has her “lieing” issues… Casey being who
she is…who could tell, if she had not had
Casey to be jealeous over, she might have
murdered a boyfriend or future husband if
she got jealeous…if jealousy was her motive?
Finally, some good news on this case. While tragic to assume that the remains are of little Caylee, appears as if positive progress is moving forward and protecting the legal rights of the VICTIM first for a change!
Hmnnnnnnn… Casey needed a sedative once hearing about the discovery??? Maybe she’ll also be needing something else after the close of this trial when convicted…a needle!
Any Mother who can take the life of their own child in such a henious way does NOT deserve to have 3 square meals a day/a warm bed to sleep in for the rest of her life with OUR tax dollars footing the bill, Thank you Very Much !!!

DEVELOPING STORY:
The defense team for the mother of missing Florida girl Caylee Anthony said the sheriff’s office is confident that skeletal remains found are those of the child.
Linda Kenney Baden, part of 22-year-old Casey Anthony’s defense team, said the Orange County Sheriff’s Office called them to say they believe the bones discovered in a wooded area near the Anthony home belong to Caylee because of the color of the hair and the appearance of the skull.
i dont know how a mother could do this to her own child and whats worse is caylee was 3 years old…i wouldn be able to EVER forgive my self if i was casey she doesnt deserve anything even in prison. prison is not a good enough punishment for casey and i know some people might think that loosing your child is a good enough punishment for her but if she really cared about caylee why would she have killed her?

George and Cindy apparently loved Casey more than Caylee that they’ve sucked into her obvious lies for so long. So forget the tears for them. Save them for a darling little girl who is dead because of her mother’s actions and wasn’t found for 6 months (but remained in a garbage bag as if she wasn’t a human being) thanks to her grandparents who protected their daughter instead of insisting on knowing what happened to Caylee. If Cindy and George hadn’t offered aid and comfort to murderous Casey, Caylee probably would already have been found.
Imagine all the wonderful families who would have gladly given little Caylee a home if Casey found her too much in the way of her desired lifestyle.
Hope the prosecutor reconsiders the death penalty and refiles the case.
Forgot to mention in my rant that I’m a little surprised at the court ruling. While true that the defense would be looking for “take that Mr. Fung” moments, I think it would be far better to allow their observations so that there can be no unfounded claims later.

Three meals a day and housing for you…including somewhat heat and water to take a shower……You tossed your daughter out like a piece of garbage….You DESERVE THE DEATH PENALTY…. I feel so bad for your parents Casey……Im sure by now you wish you would have handled this whole situation differently months ago…Like MAYBE give custody of your daughter to your parents…as you your mom asked you to do….!!!!!! Just fess up and tell the world what you have done…..People all around the world have spent their time, energy and money to help find your daughter….You owe everyone an explanation as to WHY you did what YOU DID!!!!!
#7 why do you feel sorry for Casey’s parents? Who enabled her while she told lies? Who defended her in the wake of overwhelming evidence?
If Cindy and George had turned Casey out because of her lying, perhaps she would have fessed up. Instead they either sat in denial or outright lied, knowing what Casey had done.

Like trash in a garbage bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost want to throwup when I see this beautiful baby singing and to think she could stuff her in a bag is unbelievable! I have three daughters and if they have a blanket to close to their face i freak out. I say put the devil with general public in prison. They will take care of her. I have followed this tragic story from the beginning. Can’t imagne how anyone could harm a sweet baby, let alone her own mother. That beautiful little girl has captured everyone’s heart. She should right now be waiting for Santa while playing with her toys by her Christmas tree, instead of having her tiny little bones on a cold autopsy table, waiting to be identified. As far as “THE MOTHER OF THE YEAR” goes, take her sorry A** out of that isloated cell and stick her with the general population of any prision she ends up in. Even the worst and most violent criminals hate child abusers/murderers (enough said).If she dosen’t recieve the death penalty, which she does deserve, I hope she lives to be 105, rotting slowly until she drops desd from the most painful death, and spends eternity in hell. First to Karen on 12/17, why should Caysee Amnthony live to be 105 and cost the taxpayers? Why waste money on that piece of wasted time and let the people who ARE worthwhile go hungry and suffer from the weather and elements while that complete WASTE of time is fed and kept comfortable! Next, in reply to Joan 1/29, Right On! Let’s get this trash put where it belongs and get all of the “hanger-on-ers” set to the curb. Wait until October for a trial, are they kidding, what have they been doing since this little soul was finally found? Caysee has been eating VERY good, or someone got her size wrong when they went to get her clothes for Court. It would appear that Caysee has put on a few pounds from all of the gourmet choclates and puddings, cookies, etc. that she has ben ordering from her jailhouse menu. What ever happened to grits, biscuits and grouhl or soup for the prisners? Gourmet my duppa! Get a grip people, this is not supposed to be a “vacation”, get real.
