The Final Polls before the Vote … Who will Get it Right?
As election day is upon us, here is a final wrap of the polls at Real Clear Politics. Let us see who gets it right. Will it be an Obama landslide as some have predicted? Or will the come back kid pull off a shocking upset not seen since Truman?
The McCain campaign is reminding voters not to get caught up in exit poll as they traditionally are weighted to Democrats over Republicans. We need to look only back to the election of 2004 when the Kerry camp had thought they won from early exit poll data only to find out a much more different outcome at the end of the day.
Get out and vote and make it an informed one … that is your American patriotic duty.

Voted for Obama or Osama as some of you might have called him. If McCain wins…I will stand behind him. Good Luck! Get out and Vote!
AOL also has a map up – but watch that too. They’ve called Vermont for Obama with 0% reporting. Now I have no doubt that Vermont will go Obama, but please, shouldn’t we count the votes before we call states for a candidate?
Remember to wait until a large part of any state is counted before thinking it’s a done deal. There are red and blue counties. People started to get disheartened about FL until they realized that only a tiny portion of the vote is counted AND the Panhandle closes later than the rest of the state – which is one of the areas heavily republican. As they say: don’t count your chickens until they hatch.
Rusty: it’s too bad we couldn’t divide government so those of you who voted Obama – got him. You’d be asking to change sides before 4 years was up.
FOX just called my state, Virginia, for Obama…Last time that happened was LBJ. EC is at 220 to 138.
FOX just called it Obama wins…..they’re saying nice things about him and Juan Williams became very emotional….they are really saying nice things about him.
