Joran Van der Sloot’s US attorney, Joe Tacopina, has finally said something that we can all agree on when discussing Joran to Greta Van Susteren … “he’s a sick kid”.  The comment was made by Tacopina in an interview with Greta Van Susteren, ‘On the Record’ in the aftermath of Joran’s new disclosure and latest version of the truth that he sold Natalee Holloway into slavery. Tacopina was also critical of Joran being paid for an interview, yet I am sure none of his clients had ever been offered and accepted a similar deal in the past.

One thing that we all need to remember when it comes to sociopaths, among the many lies they tell, there is some truth mixed in between. There is also a reason and a need to continually keep the focus on them. Almost as if they want to be caught.

TACOPINA: You paid him for a tape that he made and wound up getting an hour interview with him. And so be it, Greta. Great TV, great ratings- -

TACOPINA: Yes, I do have a problem with it, Greta, because if you offered Joran $10,000 tomorrow and ask him to tell you a fifth story, he would do it.

Clearly, he’s a sick kid. Clearly, I have nothing to say in defense of his actions, Greta. OK?

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you deny…?

TACOPINA: But I still tell you, and I stand by the notion that the investigation regarding the disappearance of Natalee Holloway has not led to Joran. That’s the bottom line.

It was Joran Van der Sloot who one again needed to be in the media’s eye and the focus be on him.

“Joran is sick and if offered enough money, you can have an interview with him.” With these words Joe Tacopina, the American lawyer of Joran van der Sloot, suggested that Fox News possibly made him talk in Thailand with dollars. In a broadcast of the American news channel earlier this week, Joran told the famous journalist Greta van Susteren yet another version of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Now the missing girl would have been sold to an Aruban facilitator.

The question that needs to be asked is if Joran’s attorney Joe Tacopina believes his client is sick and a sociopath, what crimes is Joran Van der Sloot capable of? This is not just about lying. If one is sick and a sociopath we are talking about the specter of someone committing crimes far worse than lying. What else is this sick kid capable of? Funny, in 2005 through 2007 Joe Tacopina and the other attorneys for Joran tried to portray him as an innocent kid mixed up in a disappearance. If as Tacopina states that Joran has no involvement in Natalee Holloway’s disappearance than why does he continue to fixate on the crime? A crime that so far he has gotten away with?

Texas EquuSearch to Return to Central Florida, Merritt Island … To Search for Missing Shawn Waters

Texas EquuSearch is returning to the Central Florida are for a search; however, this time it is not for missing Caylee Anthony. TES is back in Florida to search for missing 31 year old Shawn Walters. Walters has been missing since Sunday, November 23, 2008 when he was last seen fishing near Merritt Island. Texas Equusearch moved in after Brevard County officials and the Coast Guard suspended their search for Shawn Waters on November 26.

Team leader Tim Miller scanned through sonar images Saturday night in search of any signs of the father of three.

They did not find Waters, but they believe his body will surface in the next few days.

He said Waters’ family approached the volunteer group. More families with missing loved ones will now be able to approach the group also.

Miller revealed Equusearch could soon become a permanent fixture with the formation of a new chapter in Orlando. It’s the organization’s first branch outside its home base in Houston.

“Many people want to start branches in different states, but we just seen how everybody came together for Caylee,” Miller said. “We’re just getting organized right now.”

Once again Texas EquuSearch shows all that they are more than just being about one missing person. Texas EquuSearch has always been about searching for as many missing persons as they can no matter whether the media covers the story or not. All missing persons should be searched for and recovered. Gunbattles and airstrikes by NATO and Afghan troops killed 53 militants in Afghanistan, including a wanted Taliban commander who tried to hide from soldiers under a woman’s burqa, officials said Saturday.

The U.S. forces targeting the commander surrounded a house Friday in Ghazni province and ordered everyone inside to leave, a military statement said.

Six women and 12 children left the building, but while soldiers were questioning the women they discovered one was actually a man dressed in a burqa, the traditional all-encompassing dress that most Afghan women wear. The man, later identified as the targeted commander Haji Yakub, tried to attack the soldiers and was killed, the military said.

Yakub allegedly directed roadside bomb and suicide attacks against Afghanistan’s government and coalition forces in Ghazni, according to the statement. Three other militants were killed in the operation, it said.

New York Giants star wide receiver Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg Friday, according to multiple media reports.

Burress was hospitalized with gunshot injuries Friday night that were not believed to be life-threatening, FOX Sports.com reported Saturday.

A spokesman for the Giants on Saturday told PA SportsTicker that the team had no comment, although they acknowledged they are aware there was an incident.

Burress has not practice all week due to an ailing hamstring and already had been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.

According to Newsday, Plaxico Burress was hospitalized last night after a loaded gun he was carrying accidentally fired, causing injuries to his leg that are not life-threatening. Imagine that, the loaded gun just accidently fired all by itself? Police in southwestern Ohio say a police chief mistakenly shot himself in the thigh after giving his daughter a gun safety lesson.

A police report says 54-year-old Middletown police Chief Greg Schwarber was preparing to clean his Glock .45-caliber pistol on Friday and didn’t realize the gun was still loaded.

The report written by officers from neighboring Monroe says the bullet entered Schwarber’s leg just above the knee.

When officers arrived, they found the chief lying on the floor with a towel covering his leg. Schwarber was taken to a hospital for treatment.

First there were released press statements discussing internet searches of chloroform which just by mere coincidence there was trace elements of chloroform found in Casey Anthony’s car. However, we did not know until just recently the extent of the “how to make chloroform” searches and the time frame of those searches. Then there were released documents indicating that internet Google searches were on the Anthony family computer from March 2008 looking up “neck breaking.”    Now with the latest round of released documents we are presented with an even more bizarre development in the case, the possibility of incest. What else could  could possibly take place? Casey Anthony had talked to others in the past and had made allegations that George Anthony had abused her and her brother Lee made inappropriate sexual advances toward her. Unreal.

Nearly 700 pages of evidence released in the Casey Anthony case contain disturbing internet searches, a accusation of a frame-up and allegations of potential incest in the Anthony family.

Patriotic School Children: 77% Say Children Should Say Pledge At School Every Day and Say “Under God”

According to a recent Rasmussen Report, an overwhelming majority of Americans say they want school children to say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at school. 77% of American voters say that school children should say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning in school. Eighty-two percent (82%) say the words “under God” should remain in the Pledge  It would appear that we have a patriotic country after all. So who is it that is out of touch with America and its values when they try to prevent children from reciting the Pledge of Allegiance?

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of U.S. voters say school children should say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at school, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

Just 13% say they should not, and nine percent (9%) are undecided.

Eighty-two percent (82%) say the words “under God” should remain in the Pledge as well. Fourteen percent (14%) think the phrase should be dropped from the Pledge, and just four percent (4%) have no opinion.

Casey Anthony has been indicted on first degree murder charges in the death and disappearance of her daughter. A while back we learned in the never ending bizarre case of missing Caylee Anthony that there were computer searches on how to make chloroform. With the recent release of even more documents, we know learn that there were also internet Google searches on“neck breaking” and “household weapons”. The internet searches are said to have been done in March of 2008 prior to Caylee Anthony reported missing.

Hundreds of pages of new documents in the Casey Anthony case show someone used the family’s home computer to search for “neck breaking” and “household weapons” in March, month before Caylee was reported missing.

The documents, released Wednesday, also include text messages in which Casey Anthony calls herself “the worst mother” just before she was initially arrested in July.

On March 17, 2008 someone used Google to search for peroxide, acetone, alcohol, which can be used to make chloroform. Conveniently enough traces of chloroform were found in Casey’s car along with DNA evidence suggesting Caylee’s body had been in the trunk.

More documents released in Casey Anthony case; Someone using the Anthonys’ home computer used Google to search for “neck breaking,” “how to make chloraform [sic]” and “household weapons” in March, court documents show.

Here is what some of the newly released documents reveal:

Someone also used Wikipedia to search for“inhalation,” “chloroform,” “acetone,” “shovel” and “death.”

A computer forensics report from a Sheriff’s Office detective states that on March 21, someone used other Web sources like sci-spot.com, druglibrary.org and instructables.com for the words “making weapons out of household products,” “chloroformhabit,” “how to make chloroform,” and “chloro2.”

Savage behavior at Long Island Wal-Mart … Where to go on Black Friday for bargains. The Valley Stream Wal-Mart should not have been on the list.

Folks, is it worth killing someone to get a bargain? Is the purchase of any material gift worth trampling over your fellow man? Does anyone think that maybe everyone needs to step back and take a long hard and good look as to what is the “reason for the season.” 

What the hell is the matter with people? What the hell is the matter with stores that would allow shoppers to pile in by the 100’s at once as if it was a 1970’s Who concert? A WALMART employee was trampled to death and a woman miscarried when hundreds of shoppers charged through the doors at a Valley Stream, Long Island Walmart.

A worker died after being trampled and a woman miscarried when hundreds of shoppers smashed through the doors of a Long Island Wal-Mart Friday morning, witnesses said.

The unidentified worker, employed as an overnight stock clerk, tried to hold back the unruly crowds just after the Valley Stream store opened at 5 a.m.

Witnesses said the surging throngs of shoppers knocked the man down. He fell and was stepped on. As he gasped for air, shoppers ran over and around him.

“He was bum-rushed by 200 people,” said Jimmy Overby, 43, a co-worker. “They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me. They took me down too…I literally had to fight people off my back.”

Maybe they would even like to listen to Linus Van Pelt as to what Christmas is all about …

Everyone says “Black Friday” is the day to shop until you drop, but police in Valley Stream, N.Y., were forced to take that message literally.

Detectives said a 34-year-old Walmart employee died when a throng of shoppers entering the store on Green Acres Road knocked him to the ground.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 6 a.m., police said. A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
