Priceless, First Murtha Calls Pennsylvania Constituents Racists, Then Red Necks … Now he Begs for their Money

Pennsylvania is in a battle for his House seat. However, Murtha has no one to blame for the tight race but himself. First he called his constituents from western PA racists. Then he called them rednecks. Now Murtha is begging those same so-called racists and rednecks for $1 million to save his campaign.

Veteran Democratic Rep. John Murtha (Pa.) has sent out a last-minute plea for $1 million to save his hotly contested seat, endangered by his own remarks describing his district as racist.

In an e-mail sent to potential donors, Murtha’s campaign asked his supporters to maximize all campaign contributions.

“We need to raise another $1 million to compete,” his campaign fundraiser Susan O’Neill wrote in the e-mail obtained by The Hill. “We need money immediately.”

O’Neill blamed Republicans from outside Pennsylvania for Murtha’s problems. Polls show Murtha, running for his 18th term, ahead of his GOP opponent by just a few percentage points.

How ironic is it that someone who so so quick to call people racists and rednecks is now begging those same people for money.  The good people of western PA need to teach Mr. Murtha a lesson he shall never forget and elect challenger and Iraqi War Veteran Bill Russell.

Murtha seeks million bucks to save campaign from the very people he has insulted.

      woooooooooohoooooooooooo..now it’s

For the second time in a week, a prominent Democrat has downgraded Barack Obama’s definition of the middle class — leading Republicans to question whether he’ll stick to his promise not to raise taxes on anyone making under $250,000.

The latest hiccup in the campaign message came Friday morning on KOA-AM, when New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson pegged the middle class as those making $120,000 and under.

Click here to listen to Richardson talk about Obama’s tax plan.

“What Obama wants to do is he is basically looking at $120,000 and under among those that are in the middle class, and there is a tax cut for those,” Richardson said in the interview, according to a clip posted on YouTube.

There’s no indication that Obama has changed his tax policy, which states that anyone making under $200,000 would get a tax cut under his administration, and nobody making under $250,000 would be hit with a tax increase. Richardson actually recited that part of Obama’s plan correctly earlier in his radio interview.

But the Republican National Committee quickly blasted out an e-mail saying, “At this rate, it won’t take long until Obama is again raising taxes on Americans making as little as $42,000 a year.”

“When Barack Obama comes to your door this Halloween, there will be no treats — just taxes,” the e-mail said.

Joe Biden caused headaches for the campaign Monday when he told a Scranton, Pa., TV station that Obama’s tax break “should go to middle class people — people making under $150,000 a year.”

John McCain said the tax threshold was “creeping down,” while the Obama campaign accused him of lying about Obama’s tax policies.

The gentlemen patriots here with the n*gger notches on their guns have forgotten that we already have several sh*t-for-brains private security firms like Blackwater. You guys conveniently forget stuff like that when you try to scare yourselves into thinking the Fourth Reich is coming. Given the opportunity, you and the security firms you support–Blackwater–would absolutely try to take over the country and kill everyone that disagrees with you, claiming you were protecting us.

We’ve heard your nonsense before. I’d rather have a civilian security group under the command of people like Colin Powell than a bunch of freaks and hard-ons like Blackwater, but of course you disagree.

It wouldn’t kill you gents to learn something once in a while.

Throwing those “journalists” off the plane? They write no differently than the reactionary nonsense most of you write here.

Just a minute here. Obama states that he wants a separate internal security force as large and powerful as the US military. The current force he wants to reduce in power and scope (US military). The US military promises to protect the US Constitution. Not the President. Just to what power will this new military force promise to protect and against who? HAIL CAESAR! js

John Murtha is a windbag. He has been huffing and puffing for years.

      Term limits! Term limits!

      Elect Bill Russell.

Of the two choices, between tearing up money and flushing it down the toilet or donating it to politicians, I prefer the former. At least no evil is engendered thereby.

You can help William Russell fight the money Nancy Pelosi sent Murtha. A contribution to Russell is my FIRST campaign contribution made.
