US Democratic Senator John Kerry Insults John McCain with “Depends” Comment

So Obama is claiming that the political campaign is too negative and ugly, huh. I guess that is only true when one questions Obama’s policies. Maybe DependsObama should keep his own surrogates in line before throwing stones. Present US Democrat Senator of Massachusetts insulted Republican candidate for President and US Senator John McCain with “Depends” comment. Anything for a laugh I guess when its at the expense of a Republican. I would ask John Kerry two questions. One, does he think its a laughing matter to those seniors and those who are not seniors who have to use adult diapers? Two, Sir … you are not that much younger than John McCain, you just have the benefit of botox. Way to insult the AARP vote and those with urinary incontinence. Glad you find that funny John Kerry.

“I don’t know if any of you know what it’s like. I do, obviously,” he said. “I’ve been asked all of those brilliant questions that were repeated this year.”

“Barack got asked the famous boxers or briefs question,” Kerry went on. “I was tempted to say commando.”

The senator said Obama successfully parried that question but that John McCain, the GOP nominee, had some problems.

“Then they asked McCain and McCain said, ‘Depends,’” Kerry said to lots of laughter from the crowd.

So what! Tit for tat. It’s ugly on both sides. What does this have to do with Obama?

    2. dennisintn on October 21st, 2008 1:52 pm

lol, i think that was a pretty sharp answer from mccain. obviously kerry isn’t any sharper at recognizing humor than he is at anything else.
obama’s well aware of his surrogates use of the “down and dirty” politics and encourages it. that keeps him looking clean and above the chicago style of politics he embraced wholly and is a product of.

biden keeps calling himself a “good friend” of mccain. i’m damned glad i don’t even have any acquaintances like biden, much less good friends like that.

Okay, That “Depends” joke IS kind of funny!

And no one would prolly laugh harder than
      John McCain himself…

But if someone dared to make a disparaging joke @ “The Emperor”‘s expense – the “Hate-Patrol” would take to the streets and erupt in violent rioting like a scene out of “Escape From New York”!

What a looser Kerry is in more ways than one!

Very juvenile behavior on his part.

#1: in case you have been hypnotized, they are both democrats . hand in hand with each other. guess kerry has a weak mind too !

The US Democratic Senator, John “Scarey” Kerry, apparently forgot to take his daily doses of Aricept (drug used for Alzheimer’s) today :-( Not only has the Botox affected his dog ugly face, but has also affected his pea size brain!!

    8. txchic on October 21st, 2008 4:41 pm

yep the botox has affected kerry’s sense of humour. i wonder if the dems get some sort of bulk discount on botox… kerry, biden, pelosi, etc…? somehow i’ll bet they have figured out a way to get the “average joe” tax payer to foot the bill for their plastics.

      John Kerry is a JOKE!

I’m from Mass—even ask all the Dem’s in this State—they will tell you first hand—the man does NOT win any popularity contests even in his own State. LOL He is a joke, pure and simple. Only person who is laughed at more is BARNEY FRANK.

Kerry is the prick that lost. He’s less than nothing.

Franklin Raines was favored to be his Treasury Secretary if Kerry won… even after Raines had screwed up Fannie Mae …worst manager of the year 2004.. Kerry was also the 3rd biggest recipient of money from them.. Obama was 2nd and Dodd was 1st..

Today they announced that Dodd is under investigation..on his sweetheart real estate deals and the financial mess..

Like was said above.. Kerry is like 66,,who is he to talk? lol

Good old Franklin Raines who went through Harvard and is a Rhodes Scholar..walked off with over 400 million.

      Franklin Raines
      Fannie Mae

On Labor Day, he was a favorite to be Treasury Secretary should John Kerry win the White House. At yearend, he had left under a cloud. The charmed career of Franklin D. Raines — a poor kid from Seattle who climbed through Harvard and a Rhodes Scholarship to become White House budget director and CEO of Fannie Mae (FNM ) — crashed to a halt on Dec. 21. That was six days after the Securities & Exchange Commission’s top accountant declared that mortgage giant Fannie misstated earnings for 3 1/2 years, leading to an estimated $9 billion restatement that will wipe out 40% of profits from 2001 to mid-2004.

I think John McCain’s response was great very funny. He handled it very well.

    14. mbs on October 21st, 2008 7:21 pm

What was McCain’s response? McCain didn’t make the Depends comment, Kerry made that up thinking it was funny. Did McCain have a funny response?

    15. Richard on October 21st, 2008 9:12 pm

Maggie, please keep us posted on this Dodd investigation … I’m just hoping that it’s true.

I hail from the Nutmeg State originally, and would love to see Dodd demolished.

    16. rightknight on October 21st, 2008 10:04 pm

Kerry was a loser then, and he remains a loser today.
His sense of humor is non-existent.

#10-Nurturer – does that mean you don’t like Kerry ?

#17-Katablog.com – I’m just wondering about this ‘pontificate thingy’.

    23. Brenda from Virginia on October 23rd, 2008 7:58 am

      Dear Mary UK,

Yeah, but at least a dead fish has some value, if large enough you can have it mounted to put on your wall.
