Bill Clinton Poses a Real Hypothetical Question,”Why Vote for a guy (Obama) you agree with if he can’t get things Done?”
Bill Clinton posed a hypothetical question …. sure it was Bill, they do not call him slick Willy for nothing. On the afternoon before his wife, Hillary Clinton, takes center stage at the Democratic National Convention Bill Clinton just out of the blue and unrelated to any faction of disgruntled Democratic supporters who are trying to decide between a “wet behind the ears” candidate who they agree with and an effective and experienced veteran with independent crossover appeal asks a hypothetical question. This is a classic … as reported at The Politico.
Make way for the Bubba Express
Bill Clinton appeared to undermine Sen. Barack Obama again Tuesday. The former president, speaking in Denver, posed a hypothetical question in which he seemed to suggest that that the Democratic Party was making a mistake in choosing Obama as its presidential nominee.
He said: “Suppose you’re a voter, and you’ve got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don’t think that candidate can deliver on anything at all. Candidate Y you agree with on about half the issues, but he can deliver. Which candidate are you going to vote for?”
Hey Barack, that was no bus … that was a train that just ran you over called the Bubba Express. If the hypothetical question was not priceless enough, Clinton’s later comment that “this has nothing to do what is going on now” is golden. Think Bill Clinton is over it yet?

I think Bill is just telling it the way it is!! Go Bill!
Poor Bill Clinton … he just can’t get over the fact that he’s not the president any more. An AP article said that he was furious over being relegated to an inconsequential role in this convention … maybe this is his reaction?
Even Hillary is getting more attention than he is.
I have to agree with Judy, Bill was telling like it is. But I’m still voting for Paris Hilton
Wow…..Bill Clinton finally tells the truth for a change.
This should get more exposure in the media…..good clip! HAHAH
I think Hillary and Bill have both told the truth….as we all see it!!!
It was quite obvious at the convention who the favorite candidate was…
I think the Democrats made a huge mistake…Obama is not ready to lead…..and he is well aware of it but his ego won’t go there….he never really gets it right….how can he be a candidate for President…if he is doing this now what is going to happen later…
A lot of families have scrimped and saved…but the two of them went to school on gov’t loans….so don’t play on the sympathy role…
i’m just waiting for “the chosen one” to rise from the floor of the stage. wonder if there will be flames shooting out all around him like the movie “romancing the stone”. very effective and dramatic except i don’t think obama could stand the heat. he seems to lose it at the slightest provocation or pain. maybe the repubs. can make a comparison ad or the two “risings”
dennisintn
Bill knows politics! He will be the first to say “told ya so!”
What are the dems thinking?
D I S E N G E N U O U S N E S S …
Everyone knows that Obama disrespected Bill Clinton …
playing the race card on him, and trying to tarnish his
record during the primaries … but, because of the
disingenuous DNC, and Obama, and their putting party
above country, and blackmailing the Clintons into
supporting Obama … using their debt and Hillary’s
future in politics as their leverage, the Clintons have
been strong armed into supporting Obama. Why should a
successful and respected two term President like
Bill Clinton have to stoop to the ambitions of the far
left DNC, and their upstart, empty suit candidate …
while Obama and the DNC disingenuously pretend that everybody has
kissed and made up??? Also, the PUMAS and other
Hillary supporters have had to endure the same
condescending disrespect from them as well. I say
the DNC and Obama made their bed, so let them lie
in it … they deserve nothing more.
Whoever gets in desperately needs to do something about social security, which no one ever mentions and the fund is being depleted, also the rising cost of medical insurance, which is completely out of control…
Let me ask an honest question here; I hope that nobody is offended by it.
Barack Obama is the son of a black man from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, according to an AP article.
So I honestly don’t know: is he to be regarded as black, white, mixed race, or what? Are there any rules? Is it up to him to decide what term to use?
In any case, one thing is certain … it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference.
#10
he is probably all of the above.
and indeed: it doesn’t make a difference.
bill clinton just gave a great speech in support of obama.
even better than hillary’s yesterday imo.
monday both cheney and bush speak at the GOP convention.
those speeches will help the democratic campaign maybe even more.
From the campaign trail!
Pat Robertson was seated next to President Clinton on a recent flight. After the plane was airborne, the flight attendant came around for drink orders. The President ordered a whiskey and soda, which was brought to him. The attendant then asked the minister if he would also like a drink. The minister replied in disgust, “Ma’am, I’d rather be savagely raped by a brazen whor-e then let liquor touch these lips!” The President then handed his drink to the attendant and said , “I’m sorry , I didn’t know there was a choice. I’ll have the same thing he’s having.”
Bill Clinton makes me sick.. It don’t matter to me how many speeches he reads. I even went to see him when he was campaigning for Hillary.. I criticize Bush, but am so tired of some trying to pin everything including nailing Jesus on the cross on Bush. Democrats took over Congress and said oh we are gonna see change now.. NOTHING! There approval rating is 9%. Obama isn’t the “chosen one” or a “Greek God”
WASHINGTON: Senator John McCain has decided on his running mate, two Republican strategists in contact with McCain’s campaign said Wednesday. He is expected to reveal his choice at a rally at a basketball arena in Dayton, Ohio, at 11 a.m. Friday.
Bubba did give a good ‘ol speech. IMO, the DNC paid more attention and time in tributing the Clinton’s than anything else.
Take a bow, Hill & Bill—job well done. Yours were the only 2 times many people tuned in— so what does that tell you?
Also, Americans need to be given credit that while we can be influenced, most of us have the ability to read inbetween the lines, do research and gather information, and make our own decision in the end.
This race is going to be a lot closer than Obamanians think…..hold on to your boot straps.
Americans still are not convinced that Barack Obama can do the job, there is no getting away from it.
