71 year old, Oscar winning actor Morgan Freeman is in serious condition 
after a car accident in Mississippi. Freeman was airlifted to the Memphis Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN. Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors of all time. Freeman most recently was in The Dark Knight and Batman Begins but has also done such movie greats as The Shawshank Redemption, The Unforgiven, Lean on Me. Get well soon …
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Ben Williams said Freeman was driving a 1997 Nissan Maxima belonging to Demaris Meyer of Memphis when the car left a rural highway and flipped several times shortly before midnight Sunday.
“There’s no indication that either alcohol or drugs were involved,” Williams said. He said both Freeman and Meyer were wearing seat belts. The woman’s condition was not immediately available.

Regarding Morgan’s injuries – “Morgan has a broken arm, elbow and has minor shoulder damage but was in good spirits when I spoke with him a short time ago at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center at The MED, a Level 1 Trauma Center at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis.
He is having a little bit of surgery this afternoon or tomorrow to help correct the damage. He says he’ll be OK and is looking forward to a full recovery.”

He’s 71? I’m surprised … he looks a lot younger to me, and looks like a hell of a smart cookie to boot … probably has more in his head than half the brat pack of Hollywood.
Which isn’t saying much.
Of course he is smart … he was spelling words long ago on The Electric Company
He is truly a gifted actor. I was shocked to when I saw he was 71. I did not realize he was that old.

I like morgan he is a good actor… I first noticed him in driving miss daisy .. I loved that movie … watched it over n over… he is cool hope he recover expediently:)

What I wanted to say, and forgot to … is that, if you look at his photo, he seems to have CHARACTER.
Of how many other people in Hollywood can the same be said?
For that matter … of how many people in the public eye these days can that be said?
I don’t know Morgan Freeman, and he certainly has never heard of me … but looking at his photo, I’d trust him.
