Nancy Pelosi Calls George Bush a Total Failure … Has Pelosi Seen her Poll Ratings Lately … Is Nancy Projecting?

Talk about irony, or is it just ridiculous rhetoric to provide cover for one’s own failings? Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi calls President George W. Bush a total failure. Speaker Pelosi, one who lives in a glass “House” with low approval ratings should not be throwing stones. One might actually say the same about the Democratically controlled House and Senate. However, Speaker Pelosi has decided this time to personally attack the President. Why not … Democrats are in pre-election war mode and will say and do anything to make Republicans look bad. As the Gateway Pundit states, “the AP said this was unusual for the Speaker, I call bull****”.

Pelosi shot back in unusually personal terms.

“You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject,” Pelosi replied. She then tsk-tsked Bush for “challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Bush “a total failure” It takes one to know one Speaker Pelosi. (CNN)

Nancy … I think thou dost protest too much as well. How comical is it that Speaker Pelosi is railing on GWB for his 28% approval rating while Pelosi has a 14% approval rating. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. President Bush ha asked for there to be offshore drilling to relieve the high oil prices

Watch Nancy Pelosi stumble through the Democratic plan to reduce oil prices on CNN. What leadership … blaming others for her failings. This woman promised change when the Democrats took over. Pelosi says no to offshore drilling while a CNN poll shows Americans are in favor of offshore drilling 73% – 27%. So much for doing the work and will of the people. For three consecutive days after President Bush spoke on removing the ban on offshore drilling, oil prices per barrel have gone down. Think there is not a correlation? Democrats don’t think so. Wait until your poll numbers go even lower as the Democratic controlled Congress refuses to provide common sense relief to “We the People”.

Hey Pe-loser, GW has been sweeping up dems mess for a long time now. And when did you all of a sudden get a set? Now that his term is winding down you got something to say? GTH!

Let’s see. Nancy’s approval rating is 14, Bush’s is 28 (double hers). She calls him a total failure.
Yet her rating is 50% below that of a total failure.
What term describes performance worse than a total failure? Whatever term applies, it aptly describes her and her twin brother, the clueless Harry Reid.

@SM: The oil price has decreased because a high oil price leads to less consumption in the United States. Also high inflation and the decreasing economic growth in the United States ensures a fall of the oil price (Ben Bernanke).

BUT … after an explosion in Nigeria earlier today the oil price is up again.

I am still waiting for someone in the media to as Ms Pelosi what it’s like to be the first woman Speaker of the House in a Congress with a 9% approval rating. Preferably, on camera.

#4, to answer your question, pelosi will say, with a very sincere look, that it’s bush’s fault. it’s just a damn shame that pelosi and reid aren’t going on the obama bus to iraq and afghanistan. but i can dream, anyway.

    8. caesu on July 18th, 2008 3:02 pm

the 14% approval rating is for the congress.
      dems and republicans.
dems don’t have enough majority to block vetos.
pelosi only happens to be speaker of the house.

28% approval rating is for bush on his own.
who are those people who still approve of him i wonder?
some of the arms industries / oil industry and a few brainwashed easy influenced gullible folks living in denial because they made the error to vote for him twice.

    9. maryd on July 18th, 2008 8:24 pm

The democrats have exploited and exagerated all and any of Bush’s failings in order to advance themselves. It’s easy to live off of anothers failures rather than earn one’s own success.

    10. katablog on July 18th, 2008 8:55 pm

Where’s the energy plan Pelosi promised April 2006?

Someone dares to dump on those who defend Bush since he only has a 28% approval rating? Why? YOUR congress is trying for the negatives, currently at a total of 9% approval. Bush’s rating, while bad, is almost 4 times greater than congress, twice as good as Pelosi on her own.

Pelosi and Reid are making a mockery of government – and we are stuck paying their salaries and junkets.

The last I noticed of the political figures none are doing a bang up job, that is Dems or rep.
They have other things on their minds like call girls, young male escorts and raking in their cash from lobbyists. I can’t remember any good thing coming out of Washington in awhile. Hell you can’t even tell a dem from a rep and people still argue about who is dong what! Frankly nothing of any substantial nature can I see being done.
Look at what you buy, everything is imported hardly anything is made in USA. Everybody here wants to work in an office pushing papers. What state can the economy be in with no product?

How do we get rid of her?

    13. caesu on July 19th, 2008 2:08 am

      which polls are you smoking?
the 14% is not the rating for pelosi but for the entire congress.
don’t know where you got the 9% from.
this is another misleading blog posting copied from hotair.

Nancy Pelosi is a bumbling idiot and the WORST Speaker of the House EVER in our country’s history!! Save our country, IMPEACH her now, along with all of the other useless members of Congress :-)

    15. Tony on July 19th, 2008 7:57 am

Have the democrats ever said what they would do to fix something instead of who is to blame for the situation that needs fixing? The answer to that question is the main eason whwy our government has grown by leaps and bounds over 40 years and we STILL get nothing done.

Thanks Nancy, it’s great to know you’re more worried about seals, polar bears and plankton then the budgets of Middle-class American families.

    16. Lynda S on July 19th, 2008 12:43 pm

The Congress has the low poll rating BECAUSE THEY HAVE THUS FAR REFUSED TO
      I M P E A C H BUSH & CHENEY.

They made a promise in error not to I M P E A C H, the clear seeing public wants the manipulative liars that have been lining the pockets of their pals against the better interest of the United States of America.

How many starving, homeless will have to be seen before the denial ENDS.

    17. Scared Monkeys on July 19th, 2008 2:28 pm

Congress has a low rating because they have done nothing. Impeachment is a waste of time and does nothing for the American people except to pander to the 5% left wing nut jobs who are consumed with hate.

The House and the Senate have done ZERO! Thus, because they have done nothing that the Pelosi/Reid Congress have promised … their poll numbers are also closing in on ZERO.

Democrats were given control because they promised results. THEY HAVE DONE NUTHIN!!!

Nancy Pelosi is supposed to be working for the United States ‘Construction’, but she stays full time with Pelosi Deconstruction And Problem Finding, she leads at messes and failure to contribute…anyone can do. Her entire make-up bucket in this qoute of her, <>

Is that not allowed, her quotation. Trying to print what she said again… “Anybody who’s ever dealt with me knows not to mess with me”

    20. yoyo muffintop on July 19th, 2008 7:41 pm

#17…and yet, even though it’s quite early, it appears the Democrats are going to pick up MORE seats in the House and Senate in Nov. Very strange, imo.

“Impeachment is a waste of time and does nothing for the American people except to pander to the 5% left wing nut jobs who are consumed with hate.”

Take “left wing” and insert “right wing” – was that your same thought during Clinton? I happen to agree but was just curious if you thought this way then as well.
SM: Yoyo … Try and prove a point with a positive, not a negative. I thought impeachment was a waste of time with Clinton. However, the difference being is that Clinton perjured himself. People go to prison fore that in real life. What do you think is presently going on with Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds and previously with Marion Jones. They perjured themselves.

If what Bill Clinton did was not wrong then why do you think he was disbarred? Duh. It wasn’t because of a sexual relation with an intern.

None of the posts say what is wrong with Speaker Pelosi’s comments. Just a bunch of knee jerks.

I cannot think of a single incident that King George the Lessor didn’t mess up badly.

The only argument I have heard is he kept the terrorists out of the US. And that is true. Georgie Porgie sent Americans over to Iraq to die and saved the terrorists air fare.
