I read somewhere that one of the Hollywood luminaries (perhaps it was Paris Hilton) had a sex tape out there. The ensuing notoriety helped launch her “career,” if that’s what you call it.
Later, rather than suing to remove the tape from the public eye, she let it stay out there and collected royalties.
I’m not certain which of the human trash it was, her or another … but given the state of our society today, where nothing is too low to prevent someone from trying to cash in on it, that might be the case here too … it’s a calculated move to profit from the stupidity of the public. The sleazier the action, the more it can be hyped on TV and sold to the idiots.
