This is getting to become a weekly event and embarrassing. Just how many 
Mulligan’s does Obama get? Barack Obama has done it again in being geographically challenged. Does Barack Obama ever actually know where he is when he is campaigning? Or do his handlers just push him out on stage with his canned stump speech. Obama has made yet another gaffe of the spoken word. Seeing that Florida is a major swing state and a must win in the Fall when it comes to the electoral college, Obama may want to pay a bit more attention when campaigning in Sunshine.
For Obama, a Bright, Sunshiny Day
SUNRISE, Fla. — At first, it seemed as if Barack Obama might just be speaking figuratively, as is his wont sometimes. “How’s it going, Sunshine? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you everybody. It’s good to be in Sunshine!” Obama declared on taking the stage this afternoon for a rally at the BankAtlantic Arena in Broward County, Fla., just west of Ft. Lauderdale.
Obama, who often comments admiringly on the climate and regional aura of his various destinations, may simply have been evoking the warmth of the Sunshine State, which he campaigned in for the first time this week after staying away for months to observe the Democratic Party’s primary ban against the state. Or perhaps it was a term of endearment, similar to his recent (and later regretted) use of “sweetie” in speaking to a woman reporter.
But then he said it again, and again — “When we are unified sunshine, nobody can stop us!” — and it became clear: Obama thought he was in Sunshine, Fla. But he was not. He was in Sunrise, the name given to this particular swath of South Florida palm trees, bungalows and outlet stores.

These verbal gaffes of Obama may be unfortunate, but in all honesty I don’t think they are on the level of Hillary Clinton’s remarks about staying in the race and the RFK assassination.
No, I don’t think that Clinton was covertly suggesting anything … but as I said in another post, the stupidity of those comments is inexcusable for somebody who is an experienced politician and who aspires to the top position in our country.
Maybe Obama should stick to generics like “Glad to be in this wonderful town.” Everyone knows that these flying visits to places way out there are just like the photo ops at food festivals, etc. … more playing to the media than anything else.

Its hard to compare a gaffe to a conculated blunder. Hillary just blew it thinking that she could earn political points. What Hillary Clinton has learned is a valuable lesson in how Reblicians are treated by the media. Obama is the MSM’s golden child.
However, Obama’s gaffe’s are just stupid, non-thinking errors of ommission. One would like to think that a Presidental candidate has a bot more on the ball and cares what comes out of their mouth.
Obama’s gaffes make one wonder whether he has any eye for detail.

I have noticed a distinct pattern from Obama and his supporters towards revisionist history. Whether it’s Pastor Wright, with his radical interpretations of American history, or Pastor Moss’ denigration of Thomas Jefferson, or Obama’s historical distortions, which support his P.R. image building efforts. Their tactic is to discredit, or distort history, in order to pave the way for their new extreme policies. A President of the United States should know, and communicate real historical facts, not fabrications for personal political gain.
