Does Becca McEvoy not deserve justice?
Has the media ever bothered to look into the case of 11 year old Becca McEvoy? There is a case right there in front of you that has all of the compelling elements for what the media cares about most, ratings. We are not even going to try and talk to the fact that there is a human, touching and gut wrenching side to this story that would appeal to viewers. No American ever wants to see an 11 year old child sexually abused let alone done so by the US Court system.
An 11 year old girl is allegedly sexually assaulted by her step-father, Bob Ingle, and then because of a horrible car accident tragedy Becca is killed prior to the case going to trial. Bob Ingle was charged with rape, sodomy and sexual abuse. Thus, a man who committed repeated crimes against his step-daughter may walk because of the fact that an accused get to face his/her accuser. Is a victim of rape supposed to lose their rights because they die?
PLEASE HELP PROVIDE JUSTICE FOR BECCA.

I know a female 59 years of age who was sexually and physically abused as a child, to the age of about 13 perhaps. Wrecked a big part of her life all the way through, never quite ends. On the otherhand she fought back hard, came through some growing, but has done wonderfull things with her life. She found her a husband complete man 6’8″ big, kindness just as large.
Poor little Becca will not get to fight back. Too sad, and you are sure right, this story is human interest for sure. Becca needs her story told for her by media commotion, shaking up awareness in her name.
Worse is the scumbag that did this to her will go on now to do terrible harm to at least one more and likely several more — if ever caught and charged at all.
The abuser of the lady I know well was never charged. Days after his recent death of natural causes another told of having been abused by him. HIs MO was physical abuse (hard hits and loud deep voice) mixed with making it ‘ok’ with a disapline goal in mind, with sort of an approach of ‘By God you will do what I say’, which then went to immitation love, touchy feely (control fully established) then sexual abuse.
Sorry if anyone is alarmed by the discription, hopefully it makes an ounce of awareness. Also maybe all of us should update our check on known sex abusers living near us or our loved ones.
Wonder if he had any involvement in her car accident. May he get what he deserves.
First of all, no way on God’s green earth Becca is being “victimized” now…or EVER again. She’s with her Creator and happy.
Second, that doesn’t eliminate the fact the perv who abused her should not be punished. Only justice can be perverted or abused at this point.
Any victimization would be against anyone abused by him in the future…or anyone still with us who was victimized by him in the past unable (for whatever reason) to speak up to tell their story to authorities.
I think the word “victim” is used too much and it takes away the impact of the word when it needs to be applied. Yes! Becca WAS a victim, but now she’s dead and the dead cannot be victimized any longer.
Still, I say burn the offender alive for all I care. He deserves worse actually….
I am the cousin of Rebecca. We are going through living hell to try to get the media to put pressure on the law makers and her case as well. It’s so hard to loose one so young.You cannot imagine the pain and frustration. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed.It’s quite sad when all we have left of her are these pictures to hold.I hope and pray nobody ever has to endure what we have had too.Please, Pray for change to come in Becca’s name to this law.Let her fight continue for all those who are victims to be free and never harmed again. After all this is her last request.One last wish for our little Becca Boo that we will see come to pass.
My God, heresa, Im so sorry to have to read this..I will pray for the laws to change..Is there more I can do??This is just the saddest story in a long time. She is with the Lord now, the sweet angel…I know it doesnt help…My heart just breaks for your family…
Theresa Jordan, thank you for appearing here and sharing. Are you or someone close in the family media comfortable? If one of you can tell the story well it would surely help. Hope you continue to pursue media attention to this important matter. And I do think the proper term, particularly when close to ground zero is: “victim”. Covering several per episode.
i am so sick, I do not know what to say. If our laws and lawmakers and MEDIA do not have what it takes to go up against this kind of scum without the help of a little girl, then where does that leave the future of our country. The fact that she is gone to god before this could be handled should only fuel the fire to make sure this kind of creature never walks amongst us again!!! Bless her and her family.
i am rhonda wheelus the cousin of rebecca mcevoy that was on the Dana Pretzer show & blog talk radio with other family members about beccas case!!!!all becca wanted was 2 have Bob Ingle put away so no other child would ever have 2 suffer the pain & abuse she went thru!!we her family r doing & willing 2 do whatever it takes 2 get this story out & get justice 4 becca!!!
she was the 1st victim that had the courage 2 come forth & now due 2 her death Bob ingle is trying 2 benefit from her again!!We cant allow this 2 happen hes takin 2 much from her already!!we cant let him take her last wishes that he b put away so he could never harm another child away from becca!!!there were other victims i kno i personally talked w/ 1 a few weeks ago!!even now he lives in a house in mississippi w/ kids in it!!!!please help becca by emailing all the stories from scaredmonkeys & the dana pretzer show done on becca mcevoy 2 all natl media outlets ,congressmen especially in alabama(this is where it took place)& any one that may could help us!!!thanks 4 all of u who will take the time & love our becca by helping her get her last wishes!!!
