RSSWoman’s Body Found in Reno, NV … Is it Missing Brianna Denison?
An autopsy is to be performed on a woman’s body that was found in the 
brush-covered field on the city’s south side near a light industrial area just east of U.S. Highway 395 in Reno, NV. There is much speculation that this could be the body of 19 year old Brianna Denison who went missing on January 20, 2008 by a serial rapist linked by DNA to a string of attacks near the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
The suspect in the disappearance and kidnapping of Brianna Denison has already been linked to three other sexual assaults in the Reno, NV area. Obviously, the Reno area has a serial rapist on their hands who seems to be escalating the severity of his crimes.
The developments stem from an “exponential increase” in information flowing into police tip lines since investigators released a description on Monday of a suspect in a December kidnapping and sexual assault also near campus of the University of Nevada, Reno, Reno Police Commander Ron Holladay said.
On Thursday, Holladay said they now have connected all three attacks with DNA and were investigating the October rape of a woman who came forward on Wednesday to report she was attacked at gunpoint in a UNR parking garage within 100 yards of a campus police station.
UNR Police Chief Adam Garcia said the woman decided to contact authorities as a result of extensive media coverage of Denison’s disappearance.
UPDATE I: The sad but not unexpected news has come out of Reno, NV regarding Brianna Denison. Police have ID’d the female body found yesterday as that of missing 19 year old Brianna Denison.
Police say that Denison was strangled to death, and her body had been in South Reno for at least a week.

We try so hard to protect our children, but sometimes they aren’t even safe in bed at night. They found her body, so some comfort for her family, I guess.

Another serial rapist turned murderer. Anyone out there DARE to say the death penalty should be abolished? Better not! Such anti-humans who take an innocent life without regard deserve to pay with their own.
I’m so tired of the excuse from the bleeding heart libs that “death penalty is no different than murder”. BULL! It is 100% different than murder. A murder is what we see with those such as Brianna, Natalee, Lacy Peterson, etc. Death penalty is ridding out society of those who ARE NOT GOING TO do anything other than BE murderers.
Another idiotic excuse I hear for not allowing the death penalty is it is “so much more expensive than allowing them to live in prison for life.” Really? So…those women and the thousands of others killed for no reason are not WORTH a bit more $$? I do not feel that way. Can’t put a price on a precious life lost, but I am certain if we started frying the likes of Urin, Scott Peterson, Bobby Cutts, and the slime who took Brianna’s life…it would act as a lovely way to deter such crimes.

My prayers are with her family. There are no words to make any of this make any sense. My 18 year old daughter wept at her memorial tonight, she and I drove by hundreds of blue ribbons this afternoon, even though the tears running down my face won’t take away her mothers empty heart that can never be mended, I want her to know that Bri’s life touched every one of us. Her life reminded each mother, each father, sister, brother, and best friend that life can not be taken, even for a minute, for granted. As she now rests in Gods arms, in peace, far away from the crual world that she was taken much too early away from, please let some peace enter her families heart knowing her life changed mine and thousands others in a sad minute. There is no justice that can make this right. But know that the sick person who did this will not, can not, escape. I pray its in our lifetime that he’s brought down, so no other family has to endure the unthinkable pain that Bri’s family has had to and will forever live with. But more importantly, he’ll have to spend eternity paying for what only God can truly give the deserved punishment for. Her life short but what a difference she has made. I thank God for the difference and perspective her life brought to mine. May God somehow let you know how blessed and how thankful all of us are for having Bri touch our lives.
