Isn’t he just a doll baby! We watched the first night of the dog show but the second night wasn’t on last night. It’s about the only thing on TV except for election discussion.
Uno was also on Fox News this morning.
Uno…excellent job…you are adorable!!! Beautiful markings!!! Wish I could give you your favorite treat!!!
If you have ever lived next door or near to any beagle owners, you would not be all that thrilled. They stink, and bark and howl in the middle of the night for no reason, and are not elegant or cuddly at all. I can think of at least 50 other breeds that could have been best in show.
#4…Well I don’t think Uno stinks and I doubt if he is out in the middle of night barking and howling, he seems to be a loveable little guy.
Growing up we had three different beagles as pets – they are the greatest. Go Uno!!!
I can certainly see why the crowd applauded UNO…I think it was the best choice…he is the outstanding of his breed..good boy!!!
Ahem! If a certain almostneverhere Monkey reads this, she should brag about a dog that didn’t win this time, but was invited to be in the Westminster show, which is so very very special.
Considering that it was reported that several of this gentle breed of dog were found (and rescued) at Michael Vick’s — possibly used as bait dogs — I think it’s fitting that a beagle won this time around. Brano Uno!
oops. I mean bravo Uno.
BRAVO!! They are wonderful dogs! Nice job!
How cool is it that they finally selected a Beagle …
Its Beaglemania …

I have a Jack Russell and a Beagle. They are both great dogs! The Jack Rusell actually barks more, but when the Beagle barks, he baaaaaarrrrrrkkks. However, neither of them simply bark at the moon. They bark at stray dogs, and cats, racoons, possums… and stray people.
#4 – I own a beagle, a 15 inch just like Uno. Yes, he requires a bath at least once a month. Yes, I have to keep him inside “after hours” because of the barking (I love the sound). Yes, he requires attention different than most dogs. In return, I get the warmest dog I have ever owned. He has more personality than most people I know, and is the gentlest animal I have ever seen. Congrats Uno for a job well done.
