Hillary Clinton Takes a Thumping in the Potomac Primaries … Obama Sweeps Virginia, Maryland and DC Primaries
Barack Obama not only sweeps Hillary Clinton in Virginia, Maryland and DC … he destroyed her. This was not even a contest, it was a butt kicking. And there is more gloom on the horizon for Hillary Clinton as Barack Obama leads the polls in Wisconsin, 50% – 39%. Six months ago, no one could have predicted any of this was going to happen.
- DC 98% reporting Obama 75% Clinton 24%
- MD 39% reporting Obama 59% Clinton 37%
- VA 99% reporting Obama 64% Clinton 35%
Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) swept today’s Democratic Potomac Primary, claiming a trio of victories to extend his consecutive winning streak over Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) to eight states and jurisdictions.
Obama won by wide margins in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia — a highly diverse region that includes large urban and suburban centers and significant swaths of rural territory. This trio of wins, when coupled with his other recent victories, give Obama a jolt of momentum and may well establish him as the front-runner in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Hillary got crushed.
If Obama wins any of the 3 big states (Texas/Ohio/Pennsylvania) then it will be a lock for him. imo.
But hey, never count out those Clintons…’cept this time it’ll have to be a better run than Bill had after super tuesday in ’92.
Maybe we’ll see Hillary on 60min this sunday – who knows
Ohio has already commented to hillary.Ted Strickland John Glenn and the rest of the dem party has endorsed her along with Robert Byrd and WVA.Hillary will spend most of her time Campiagning and spending money in Texas.I believe PA will flower suite with Ohio to.These aren’t black Domated states.
_________
SM: Neither was Maine where Obama won. There is less than 1% in the state.
This has gone beyond black & white. One does not win by a 3 and 4 to 1 margin by just carrying the black vote. Hillary is in a heap of trouble and momentum is not on her side.

Iam chairman of the dem party in Scioto county. This isn’t a caucus state either.Hillary will win Ohio by 20%or better.
___________
SM: We shall see. Momentum is a real dangerous thing and people love to jump on the band wagon. No one likes to be on the losing team.
One thing is for certain … such carnage is going to take place in Dem primaries that there will be resentment in both camps toward who ever wins.
Hillary better never win due to super delegates … blacks will boycott her in the general election as will all Obama supporters.

If HIllbillary doesn’t win the nomination, can you EVEN imagine how big a sign of relief the INTERNS @ the White House will exhale? ;>)
…mean while hillary’s in el paso texas parading some little hispanic boy on stage in full mexicana costume in a lame attempt to court the hispanic vote. guess she’s grasping at straws after nixing her hispanic campaign manager in order to court the african american vote by placing an african american female into that job. i hope people will see through her charade.
Here is ANOTHER miscalculation by the Hillary campaign. She is once again parading out the color-of-the-month card. The whites were bright enough to see through it; then the blacks were and now the Hispanics will.
What is it she doesn’t get that “If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got…”? At least Barack stays on message to everyone; he doesn’t base his message on color depending where he is speaking. Black, brown, yellow, white – it really doesn’t matter. In a few generations we’ll all be one color anyway!!
“color-of-the-month”, i love it!
