NEW YORK (AP) — A television news anchor who made headlines for sending photos of herself in a bikini to a married man at the NFL Network was arrested Sunday after she punched a police officer in the face, authorities said.
Emmy Award winner Alycia Lane hit the female officer in Manhattan about 2 a.m. Sunday, said police, who provided no information about what led to the incident. The officer was treated at a hospital for a cut and was released.
Lane, 35, was arraigned on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer and pleaded not guilty, said her lawyer, David Smith.
PHILLY ANCHOR Alycia Lane is scheduled to appear on TV tomorrow night in “Celebrate the Season,” an annual special highlighting holiday cheer in the Delaware Valley. Not so fast.
The suits at CBS 3 and the CW Philly may have to reconsider broadcasting the special since Lane was arrested early yesterday on charges of punching a New York City cop in the face.
According to the police complaint, the Emmy-winning anchor yelled at the female police officer, “I don’t give a f— who you are, I’m a f—ing TV reporter, you f—ing dyke,” according to Philadelphiawilldo.com, a Philadelphia Weekly blog.

Hope to GOD they throw this ego-filled moron in jail for a while where she belongs. Punching a police officer? IF ONLY that officer had used the stun-gun on her….maybe shocked a bit of common sense into her. (Or at least enjoyed the fact they tazered an idiot.)

What God do you worship? Certainly not the same one I do! When you speak of sexual desire and the Hebrew God, it is only within marriage this is held as sacred. Otherwise, it is called abomination/sin.
Men who view women as sex objects are no more than dogs in heat. There are men out there who would look the other way at women who flaunt themselves. Hey…if those dogs were not out there looking for something to hump in an alley, they’d not be caught by those female officers. I suppose you feel the same about drugs?
