A Texas couple, Kimberly Dawn Trenor and her husband Royce Clyde Zeigler II, 
who have been charged in the death of Riley Ann Sawyers initially known only as “Baby Grace”, will now face upgraded charges of capital murder. Is there a a punishment other than the death penalty that is suitable in this case?
Prosecutors said they have not decided whether to seek the death penalty against the girl’s mother, Kimberly Dawn Trenor, and Trenor’s husband, Royce Clyde Zeigler II.
Two-year-old Riley Ann Sawyers was beaten to death and her body was disposed of in Galveston Bay.
Riley’s body was found October 29 by a fisherman on an uninhabited island in the bay. It was wrapped in black plastic bags and stuffed in a blue, plastic bin.
Her identity was not known at first, and police dubbed her “Baby Grace.” Police sketches of the child were widely distributed, and Sheryl Sawyers, the girl’s paternal grandmother, contacted police from her Ohio home to say the drawing resembled her granddaughter. DNA testing confirmed the child’s identity.

For those who want to point out all the things wrong with the US, here is a great example. However, most people here are outraged over such incidents! The mother and her boyfriend are sick and need to be put out of their missery.
Riley Ann looks like such a beautiful and happy child above, I can’t come up with words to describe how discusted this makes me feel.

The difference is that in the USA the vast majority want justice, even against corrupt government and cover-ups.
I am glad that I cannot understand how a parent can do this to a child, if I understood, I would think like they do.
These ppl are not parents, the are vile and sadistic monsters. Parents protect and nurture their children, not abuse and murder. Yes, get rid of the both of the monsters, they need not cause anyone any more misery.

Anything less the life for her without parole and death for him is a injustice even though I believe both should hang.
Unfortunately, KS also had its “baby Grace”, called Precious Doe. It’s beyond be how one human being can do these things to another. Doing them to a child is unspeakable.
She’s pregnant? OMG! By the time they’re ready to pull the switch, the new baby will have been adopted by people that will be real parents. Yep, that’s right, I’m a Dem for Capital Punishment!
I am so distraught by this. Every time I think about how that poor baby suffered at the hands of the people that were supposed to care and comfort her- the person she trusted. I get sick. I can’t imagine how horrified and confused she must have been. Totally helpless and being tortured by these low life bastards . Any jail house abuse would be too good for Zeigler or Trenor - the death penalty is too good for these scum. They need to be made to feel as helpless and frightened as they made Riley feel and then suffer a long slow painful drawn out torture that leaves them broken and suffering. Or better yet buried alive with enough air to breath but nothing else. Three or four days trapped in box

How many children have to die before our justice system decides to do what’s right by the children? They need to treat the murder of a child the same as they would any other murder. Usually it’s a crime that is, practically, ignored and under prosecuted, in most cases.
Let’s hope Texas has the guts to go after these parents and pray the other states will follow suit.

The child, age 2, was beaten to death?
If it’s certain that these people were the ones responsible … what other penalty than the death penalty would be at all appropriate?
I guess the moral judgment that the courts shrink from imposing will be administered by prison inmates.
The fact that these sons of bitches haven’t even solved this with the death penalty already, is disgusting. YOU HAD A FUCKING CONFESSION. I am a big time UFC fan I picked up a couple fighting techniques. Give me the opportunity to see these MOTHERFUCKERS so I can introduce them to my best friend, “THE GROUND AND POUND”. Furthermore, there have been a series of cases just like this one- all in Galveston. I don’t care if this is a threat, if these people don’t get the penalty I will talk to police department and the Mayor and I will force them to not be too much of a pussy and get this solved. here’s another threat- I WILL personally travel to Galveston to face these fuckers myself, which will be funny because I am a trained fighter. Galveston is going down, I will make sure of it.
