ONE CHILD’S DREAM … PAT PEDRAJA, A TRUE HERO
Remember Pat Pedraja? No. We all should be reminded of the great work that this young man has done and continues to do. Pat Pedraja is the 11 year old boy who raised money for leukemia and the Bone Marrow Registry by selling ad space on his head. One might say he put his head where his hear was. Scared Monkeys interviewed Pat a while back right before he did his fund raising effort, Driving for Donors.
Pat Pedraja has been nominated by CNN Heros and needs your vote. In a day and age where we hear of all the bad things that kids do, here’s one that we can all be proud of and a true HERO! In a time in which we are in a political season where too many candidates are asking for our vote … let’s vote for someone who truly deserves it.
Imagine the more help that Pat could do for leukemia and the Bone Marrow Registry if he wins and gets the publicity? Make a difference and help battle leukemia with Pat … VOTE FOR PAT.

Mos (Geraldo’s interview):
“There’s still a struggle ahead of me, but the end is set for the 31st of December as you may know. We set ourselves that date to take a decision as to whether this case would tried in court or not and we see this new arrest as a big step in the direction to be able to take that decision. That decision will be to charge them or dismiss the case in the next month or so”.
He’s not even sure if the suspects can be charged or not.
There goes the roller-coaster again.
Deja vú.
Been quite a week: my birthday, Thanksgiving, and I think my (late) Dutch grandparents helped give me the gift of J2K’s re-arrest as a b-day gift and something to be thankful for.
So paying it forward, I’m not forgetting people like Pat. I did go in and vote. As always, thank you, Dana, for bringing us these stories.
