Say It Isn’t So: Cox & Forkum … Saying Goodbye … You Will be Missed

Thank you John Cox and Allen Forkum …

What a surprise this is, please say it isn’t so. Alas, all good things and in this case “great things” must come to an end … Cox & Forkum are saying good bye. I am truly saddened to see the best editorial cartoonist team go. Having met both of these great bloggers at a convention a couple years back only made me more of a fan of their work than I already was. They are truly two special guys with a special talent. You can still see the fantastic Cox’s artwork HERE.

The best to both of you in the future, thank you for all that you have done.

Through their editorial cartoons, John Cox and Allen Forkum poked fun at liberal silliness—and conservative silliness, but today’s drawing, called “Final Bow,” was their last regular edition.

As stated at News Busters and this is a very important thing for all to remember and understand as so many people just dont get it; “Humor is very powerful and done right, it can be more effective than serious commentary”.

They were two of the most talented politcal cartoonists around. What a shame.
