Maybe This is the Answer … Confessed Rapist Bobby James Allen Castrated

A confessed rapist, Bobby James Allen, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, days Rapist_cartoonafter he voluntarily underwent castration as part of a plea deal to avoid life in prison. For a mere $2000 a castration of a sex offender could aide in keeping our streets safer. Bobby James Allen was known 1999 as the “Ninja Rapist,” and he had a “signature” style to his crimes as he usually dressed in black, wore a mask and was armed with a knife. Voluntarily huh? OK, who thinks that maybe this should be the punishment for repeat rapists and child sex offenders? Take the “voluntary” part out of the mix and we will see just how many crimes occur and the lack of repetition.

Circuit Judge Michael Overstreet sentenced Bobby James Allen, 35, to 25 years in prison followed by 10 years on sexual predator probation. Allen pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to three counts of armed sexual battery and various other charges involving attacks that happened in 1998 and 1999. Allen filed a motion requesting castration in exchange for a reduced sentence.

Rapist follows through with deal

Serial rapist Bobby James Allen went through with the terms of his plea agreement and had his testicles removed.

In exchange, Circuit Judge Michael Overstreet on Thursday sentenced Allen to 25 years in prison followed by 10 years on sexual predator probation.

Allen, 35, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to four counts of armed burglary of a dwelling with battery, three counts of armed sexual battery, resisting an officer with violence and attempted sexual battery. The burglary and rape charges are both punishable by life in prison.

I have ALWAYS said castration is the way to deal with repeat sex offenders. Wouldn’t we neuter an animal if it was too “prolific” and became too aggressive??!

SAFE, MEDICALLY SOUND CASTRATION IS THE ANSWER FOR REPEAT SEXUAL OFFENDERS!!!!!!

    2. brenda on September 21st, 2007 12:07 pm

My only concern is this…can they still have sex, or does this removal of their “family jewels” still allow them to offend. I mean, we know they can’t impregnate…but CAN they still…perform sexually?

If so, they need to remove a bit more than gonads.

While Voluntary castration seems like a goo idea to curb the males sexual urges it would take some time for the Behavior in the mind to cease .
Poss ably if this were done as the convicted felon was entering prison and he would then have to sit there at least 10 to 25 years before release this would work well with child molesters.
Not so much with rapists because Rape is a crime of violence and NOT one of passion the Rapist actually gets his payoff from the Fear and Control that he has subjected his victims too.
Still a study and a voluntary trial period should be explored and tried and soon as the child molestation and murder rate is now in epidemic proportions But then again even one child or a woman harmed is one too many .
      STOP THIS INSANITY NOW !

Not a bad idea, let’s take care of Joran right now!

    5. dennisintn on September 21st, 2007 2:26 pm

i thought castration was ineffective treatment as far as “curing” these people was concerned. i really think you’re confining the treatment to the wrong end of the body. the brain is the main problem these guys have. to be safe, castrate them, do a frontal lobotomy, and lock them up for life plus 2 days. as with cancers, you shouldn’t leave any stone unturned. jvds should be the among the first for these treatments and prison psychologists could use him as a guinea pig.

I agree with Dennis. Its’ already been proven this is a mental disease. One that needs to be explored and tested. If we could find out what it is that all these predators have in common, physically, maybe we could find a cure.

To offer up one’s wacker for time reduced is an indication of disease, all by itself. Let’s not be fooled by his generousity. LOL!!!

    7. Sunny on September 21st, 2007 8:27 pm

he should STILL serve LIFE in prison…..let HIM find out what sexual abuse is like…up close and personal!!

    8. kitty on September 22nd, 2007 12:38 am

Preditors/pedofiles/rapists… IT IS NOT ABOUT THE SEX… it is ALL about power & control

Castration is a start… lock em up for life and throw away the key too… he got off easy ~ as most all offenders do ~ if they are looking for sex, it’s free in jail…. he skipped prison, as he probably would have been harmed, if not murdered… however, as mentioned before…it’s typically about power & control and these monsters still can harm even when castrated…

    9. brie on September 22nd, 2007 9:27 pm

Just like Joran…one of his girlfriends was only 12 years old…! SICK!

    10. Ray on September 23rd, 2007 11:49 pm

In the stste of Virginia they would sometimes put these kind in the electric chair until the supreme court stopped them. That could
be why there are so many of them.

    11. Jackie on September 24th, 2007 12:52 am

Castration doesn’t change what is in the mind, how about a labotomy?

    12. Jackie on September 24th, 2007 12:59 am

ah, I see dennis already recommened labotomy…since labotomy would mean that they would still be a drain to the tax payer in a vegetative state why not just drop them into a volcano. Put them in a helicopter (ok, some mercy knock them out first) and drop them into a volcano, it is the equivalent of hell, there is no body to bury to take up space, they are ashes in seconds, no prolonged suffering and they are no longer a threat to innocent children.

    13. Jackie on September 24th, 2007 1:05 am

just drop them in a volcano, no more problem. we are going for a helicopter ride Mr. Pervert who hurts innocent children, quick death, no crowding, nothing left, just gone.

    14. brenda on September 24th, 2007 11:01 am

Patti, as usual you are incorrect. NOT A DISEASE. Dennis used the word mind because it is where the brain exists and thoughts produced…not because it is a disease.

You just refuse to realize child molesters do this because they WANT TO. Is there a single crime that you think we as a people, or individual should take responsibility for? I say every, single one of them is a crime perpetrated by those who prefer evil.

Girl… you sure like putting words in my mouth.

I think if you talked with any psychologists,
they would agree that serial rapists, like this
one, suffer from mental disorders if not mental
      disease.

Does that mean they shouldn’t be held responsible
      for their actions?

      Not hardly.

AND… just to make sure we’re on the same page,
this is an article about a serial rapist, not a
      child molester.

    16. Bunny on September 25th, 2007 9:26 pm

I can’t believe people still believe castration would be effective. Those who don’t have a built in tool to do damage can/will use an object which would be much worse. AND…rape/assault has nothing to do with sexual urges – it’s a violent power trip crime and the mental ailment that causes the need to cause trauma and pain to another is what needs to be “cured” – the body is just their tool.

    17. kitty on September 25th, 2007 10:55 pm

      Bunny ~

      AMEN! and AMEN!…

Well said, spoken and I agree wholeheartedly!

now, if our judicial system would stop this nonsense and protect the victims?? and future victims from being preyed upon… our society may be freed of these monsters, if they were put away for life ~ I currently suggested that I’d even be willing to pay more of my taxes to put these preditor/monsters away for life in prison… to keep them from harming another human being…why is NO ONE Changing laws??? Why are these monsters allowed to be castrated and/or put back into society??? I’ll never, EVER understand it, ever.
(I’m currently working with my own legislatures to make changes…it’s arduous and takes forever ~ some listen, some don’t and some just don’t understand the severity of damage done to innocent children)… What can we all do to make changes??? Shouldn’t we all be screaming from the rooftops, ENOUGH!!!!! This has got to STOP…

Castration is NOT effective… Bunny has it correct… the body is just their tool ~ they will do whatever it takes and will not stop by using their plumbing to harm a human being.. this is NOT ABOUT SEX… it’s all about power and control … they need to be taken out of society and removed from the streets for good… prison, prison, build more prisons if necessary… but God forbid, don’t send them back to the neighborhoods to prey upon children again…castrated or not… the outcome is the same, regardless if some of the plumbing is all there or not!

I can not believe that you all are so ignorant to believe everything you hear if it is published in the press. Your family could be the next victum of the press. This person is not a serial rapist. He was forced into accepting all of these accusations because he had a prior record. How stupid can you be to believe all of this?

    19. Tim Dawson on October 8th, 2007 5:30 am

What next cutting off peoples hands for stealing? Are we becoming like the third world countries which we seem so desperate to destroy ! This is absolutely discusting, cutting peoples body parts from their flesh, due in part to a plea deal, Wow! I can’t believe this was paid for by my tax dollars, in a country with a Constitution!

Why doesn’t The State of Florida just legalize prostitution so guy’s like this can simply pay a couple hundred bucks for a hooker and go home happy? In Carson City Nevada rape is almost unheard of! Sex for sale is legal there, I live only 2 hour drive from there! Trust me… I know.

Cut his testicle out, I am in absolute shock, the really sad thing is if prostitution were legal, there would not have been three victims, he could have paid someone who enjoys getting money for sex. Correct me if I’m wrong, prostitution is illegal in Florida. Right?

I just hope he was really, truly 195% guilty and not railroaded into a plea deal so he could have atleast a few days in his later life free from prison. He did not have an attorney, he had a Public Pretender represent him. He should have asked for conflict Councel! I’m just wondering why the Duke LaCrosse players were not offered a similar castration Plea Deal or were they?

This guy does not fit the profile of a rapist, most all rapists would never think of doing this to themselves, as they are very self preserving, woman haters and deeply want to be able to rape again. This guy has feelings for his victims , enough to do this to himself, he may have raped but it was CLEARLY not for the same reasons most rapist have and that reason is anger. This is why I think this guy would have went and paid a hooker instead of raping innocent women, he was not raping to hurt and control, he was raping for mere sexual gratification.

What bothers me about this case,is this guy had only 8 days to have his body mutilated by the State of FL.(railroaded) he should have had 25 years to make his final decision. As waiting would not have added any different element of threat to our society if they allowed him to waive his decision for 25 years. In a legal situation like this, and a Plea Deal like that, time should have been granted for anything and everything!
If this guy was black Al and Jessie would have been there and all over the courts @ss! They would have put their own money up for his legal defense!

Facts: The Duke LaCrosse were found innocent and so have many thousands of other men in the United States and tens of thousands in the World, just look at FOXnew.com website crime-sex crime-DNA and you will see more than ten MEN a month getting released in the USA alone. They can’t DNA test fast enough, it sure tells us how many women lie about rape and give incorrect descriptions, noone is safe from false allegations.

What would have happened had we allowed courts to order castration during the years of 1930-2007 . Real simple, there would have been tens of thousands of “Real” castrated victims in the United States!
Thank God, the Supreme Court saw that coming and ruled surgical castration as punishment Unconstitutional years ago! Imagine if you were one of the men released after 10, 20, even 45 years in prison for a rape you did not commit! What if your testicles had been removed for a rape you did not commit?
DNA is good, but we do not hear the horror stories about it’s pit falls yet, but someday we will. Did you know the “finger print” was old school DNA and was considered as strong of evidence as DNA some 40 years ago, some of the wrongfully convicted men had left fingerprints at the crime scene, but were exonerated later by DNA. What if DNA was left at a crime scene like a fingerprint, would that be beyond a reasonable doubt?

When someone tells you to do something, then puts a gun to your head and threatens you with your own life it can be said your decision was forced. The only difference is that he was forced to choose life in prison or mutilate his body. Castration for probation has been Unconstitutional since the 1960′s. In san Diego probation officers knew that some men were totally innocent but those same men chose castration over life in prison. The Supreme Court ruled Castration Cruel and Unusual in a case involving three black men. If Florida can just get the death penalty as a sentence for rape, then this will be no different than the gun scenario aforementioned. Most rapists do not reoffend after 5 years in prison, that is a fact, so why do people keep saying that these people need to lose their life or worse? Theives have the highest recidivism rates of all criminals released, should we cut off their hands? What about all the women who lie about being raped, like the Duke serial accuser, should we cut out her tounge? I bet she would never lie about being raped again. I’m sorry, but life in prison should be reserved for more dangerous crimes like murder, sexual asault is merely a miscommunication. Don’t forget, a wife can now claim she was raped, let’s hope you don’t leave your wife in Florida, she may have your balls literally or at least you may have a decision of your testicles or your life. Think about it. Women gain too much power in our society if we allow such draconian practise. Do you really want to live in fear of your wife accusing you of rape and the subsequent punishments. I thought Saudi Arabian women had it bad, boy was I wrong, a married man in America is a victim waiting with a bulleye!

    21. Tim Dawson on January 6th, 2008 12:30 am

Oh, and all the idiots who think castration is a “cure all” for sex offenders, do a little search for a wonderful man known as Wayne Dumond. This man was accused of rape and two days before his trial a group of vigilante broke into his house, tied him to a couch and cut his testicles out with no anethesia. He was sentenced to life regardless of this informal surgical procedure. The local sheriff found his testicles at the crime scene after untying Dumond. The sheriff then displayed his severed testicles on his office desk with the warning: “This is what happens when you mess around in our town” Dumond later won a Federal lawsuit against the sheriff for $100,000. Here’s the good part of the story, Wayne Dumond was paroled by a group of misinformed parole board members who thought because Dumond had been rendered ineffecive via his castration, thus released him to the public. Within a couple months of his release without testicles (castrated) Wayne Dumond RAPED and then killed at least two women. Yup, this case blows the castrated therory out the window. The only difference was this time Wayne Dumond killed his victims instead of allowing them to live like his first victim (there was no DNA in first rape claim). DNA was, however, discovered at the murder scene but the rape part was not proved because he left no semen, it was only speculated. So, for those morons who seem to think castration works, just ask the two dead women how they feel about your ignorant comments! Plus it is Unconstitutional anyhow, so stop talking like your Hitler Youth!

    22. George O. Smith, Jr. on June 22nd, 2008 12:17 pm

What doctor would perform this sort of operation? Where did this operation take place? Did they give him false balls so that his sack won’t be empty?

    23. Duane A. Webb on November 13th, 2008 4:54 pm

…and if a Citizen is wrongly accused and convicted – then tricked or forced into castration – you’ve got a potential $25 million dollar lawsuit. Unless anyone can think of a way to re-instate his ability to procreate. And no “castration” option for females? More ant-male crap from needy “medical professionals” and OH GOD LOOK OUT IT’S ALOT OF CRIME LET’S GET TOUGH “sensationalism” fueled by false security lawmakers that want your frickin’ votes…wake-up already.

    24. Linda Shea on January 1st, 2009 4:36 pm

As for the facts in the case — I don’t know what you consider a serial rapist. He was down for 4 KNOWN rapes in a 3 month period of time. He was let out of jail on priors on 10/25/98 and by 1/19/99 he had committed 4 rapes. Uh that looks pretty serial to me.
He offered to do the castration so he could get out of life in prison and it also took a couple years off his sentence.
As one of his VICTIMS I wanted him to do life, but in order to get the life sentence we would have had to go to trial. I had been living enough with the rape for 5 years as it stood. Now he is locked up, no good behavior release and I can sleep at night. When he gets out I will be 74 years old and if he wants to look me up and retaliate I will have lived a good life knowing he is not out there roaming the streets.

There is always two sides to the story — unfortunately the victims don’t get a voice in the press because of victim protection.

    25. Unknown on June 7th, 2013 11:54 am

I came upon this article today and i was not shocked to find out Bobby is in prison for something like this. I lived with him Summer of 2001 and never was more frieghtend. 1 time he took me and my daughter down a dirt road and told me he could kill us right now and no one would ever find out. The last thing he did before I got the hell out of there was chase me and my daughter (who was 2 at the time)down front beach road with a knife. I called my family and they were there the next day to get me and bring me back home. I am pleased to hear he was castrated. I hope he gets butt rapped with a shank every day he is there.

    26. Linda on December 11th, 2014 10:19 pm

Unknown – you were one of the blessed ones. How you lived with him and not suffered physical abuse is only in the hands of God. I am sorry you suffered some mental abuse, but sounds like you were awakened to how evil and crazy he was and got out of there. God bless you and keep you both safe.

    27. Tami Somebody on December 25th, 2014 3:45 pm

I am also a victims of Bobby’s aka BJ Allen. If you look at his FL dept of corrections arrest history, you’ll see he was convicted back when he was 18 of lued act on a child. In the summer of 1988 he lived in South Florida (Palm Beach County). I met him thru his little sister. He was 17 almost 18 and all of us young girls were easily lure by his surfer look. Then, he was into only virgins. He raped me and 4 of my friends in less than a 6 month period. It was 3 days before ny 13th birthday. He told me he would need to “discipline” me if I didn’t learn to obey him. I want to know how you “BECOME” this way at such a young age. He was barely an adult when he began. He changed my course as a child because I no longer was one and I had yet grown wise enough to accompany myself with adults. I no longer fit in with my peers because I had crossed over…I didn’t “belong” anywhere for so long. I’m so glad the State of FLORIDA owns him like stock now. If only the State would have kept him after he raped all us children instead of releasing him back to society, none of the other women would have had to endure the violating helplessness. Stricter laws are in order. PS. Rachel Hurley was raped and murdered in Jupiter FL when she was 14 years old in the Beach in Palm Beach County where he lived in 1990 but her case is unsolved. She was another one of my peers.
