Bill O’Reilly does the world a favor. After a featured segment of Fox News, The 
O’Reilly Factor, two complete low-lifes, known as John Doe 9 and Jane Doe 2 were found dead in their apartment. Paul and Myrtis Gauthreaux were found dead after the segment aired with FBI Agent Arnold Bell appeared on The O’Reilly Factor to discuss the Innocent Images National Initiative. Good riddance.
A couple featured as wanted child predators on The O’Reilly Factor Wednesday were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide shortly after the segment aired, sources tell FOXNews.
Paul and Myrtis Gauthreaux were wanted by the FBI for engaging in sexual conduct with minors and appeared on a segment of the show that profiled alleged child pornographers.
After seeing the O’Reilly Factor segment, a relative of the couple called them before notifying the FBI of their whereabouts. When federal investigators arrived at their home, the Gauthreauxs had fled to an undisclosed location. The FBI said Paul Gauthreaux shot his wife dead before turning the gun on himself.

They were known as John Doe #9 and Jane Doe #2. The FBI says the man and woman photographed themselves molesting a ten-year-old child and then shared the disgusting images with other perverts across the internet.
UPDATE I: News Hounds asks if Bill O’Reilly is proud of this? How about not just a yes, but a HELL YES. Some people’s hatred for some news outlets and personalities that they do not agree with are really truly misguided. If Keith Olbermann had been partially responsible for taking two pieces of scum off the planet and making it safer for our children, he would be getting praise as well, not ridicule as he usually deserves.
One has to see the forest through the trees. When it comes to child safety from sex predators, any dead predator is one that will NEVER, EVER offend again. That is a good thing, no matter who helped do it.

I don’t understand the people on News Hounds. Why do they see featuring people wanted by the FBI as child molesters to be a “bad” thing and a “wild eye” attack?
BOR didn’t put them on the FBI list, he merely featured them as wanted by the FBI. If they were innocent they probably would have wanted to arrange for a lawyer and defend themselves. If they were guilty and saw the noose tightening, they might indeed decide to commit suicide.

Hopefully, O’Reilly and other news shows will feature more of these wanted predators on national television. These people don’t deserve to live, in my opinion, the Gauthreauxs did the right thing. Apparently at least Mr. Gauthreaux was still capable of feeling shame for their actions. I’m afraid most child predators don’t.
Well, even tho I dislike BOR,he did not drive this couple to suicide. Cowards way out. Why didn’t they do this before they harmed any kids ? They were ” busted ” and it was their choice to die.

STOP giving old Billy O credit for this stuff! All he does is sit and read from a script what his investigators give him. The man NEVER leaves his office to go out and do investigative work on his own. That couple got off way too easy – place them in general population in a state prison and watch what happens. As soneone who suffered through the torment of my Dads friends, I’da enjoyed seeing them torn apart by a seething inmate population. Death is way too easy on them.
I wish they were captured and jailed for life so they could rat out anybody else involved. Child porn, wanted, murder/suicide I hope more bad guys didn’t sielence the scum to get off…
I really don’t think it’s important whether or not BOR leaves his office. This is a means to an end and whatever it takes is a good thing. I’m not “praising” BOR here, just saying it’s unimportant to me who gets the credit. I’m sure there are a lot of people behind all these stories — they are heroes, but sometimes you need a “big name” to get the attention, who cares who it is.

Glaswegian; I totally agree, but Billy O will tell everyone that he alone did this. He will take all the credit and all he did was talk on TV about it. Instead of puffing out his feathers, he needs to concentrate on the children – not how he can add to his ratings which is all he ever tries to do. This is why I seldome bother with TV news anymore. They all bash each other and when something like this happens, Billy O makes himself look like God. All of ‘em do it. I’ll get news right here.

sad thing is i knew paul and considered him a friend…i cried when i heard he was dead..he was a road supervisor for the bus company out here in az…now i realize my tears were wasted on a freak and now i feel bad cause i did cry for him..us out here in az are in total shock and are glad our children will be safer…you think you know someone but you really dont…
#19 I can only image how you must be feeling. It just goes to show us all, you can’t pick out the freaks by looking at them. Not even the Shawdow could know what evil lurks in the hearts and minds of men…and women. I’m just glad they ended their lives so the families do not have to sit through hours and hours of heartbreaking testimony and take a chance on some scumbag liberal judge to slap them on the wrist and set them free. Just think how many children are safe now. If I had the opportunity, I’d spit on their graves!
Let me first say that I think what these people did was absolutly horrible and they deserved to be punished as severly as the law could possibly punish them but…..I happen to be best friends with Myrtis Gauthreux’s father. I feel horrible that this tragedy happened to him. He is a wonderful man who was hurt deeply by the loss of his youngest daughter. I worry even more about the horrible things that he might read being posted about his daughter. Not that I disagree with any of the posts, just that he might see them. A parent will love their child irregardless of what they do. He is no different than any other parent who has lost a child. I hope that he is able to grieve for his daughter with out having to see some of the ugly posts that are being made about her. He is fortunate enough to not have internet and I am grateful for that. I can’t bear the thought of him stumbling across some hurtful post while in the throes of his grief.
It is really disgusting to see so many people who celebrate murder suicide. Even if the parties appear guilty, they never got their day in COURT.

I am in no way aguing the fact that they got what they deserved but do you honestly believe that her parents deserve to suffer becuase of the things that she and her husband did? I am very sorry that your daughter was a victim in all this and I feel deep compassion for you and everything that you and your family had to endure at the hands of these monsters. Being a victim of child rape myself I know the heartache that you face. I will to my dying day hate the men who hurt me as a child but I don’t hold their families responisble for what they did to me. I healed and was able to move on with my life just as you and your child will be able to do with the passing of time. I just don’t believe that Emmy’s parents should be made to suffer for the actions of their very sick and disturbed daughter. Is it wrong to feel compassion for parents who have lost a child? Even if the child was a monster it was still their child and wouldn’t make it any easier to bear. I feel just as much compassion for you and your daughter and the pain that you have had to endure as a parent for having your child hurt the way that she was as I do for those people having lost their child. That does not mean that I think that what happened to them was unjust or unfair in any way. I thnk that with the loss of these people the world will be a better place but that does not mean that I don’t feel something for the people who will suffer because of these monster’s actions.
I knew emmy, and I am not ashamed to admit that I cried for her! She may have had some ugly skeletons in her closet,but that does not mean that I cant feel any emotion behind this situation. I worked with her and she really cared about people. Poor thing needed help and could not ask for it! she could not face what she had done im sure she wanted to take it back and erase what she had done and what she allowed her husband to do. Everyone must remember that we were all born into sin and no one sin out weighs another in Gods sight. Maybe he will forgive her and offer her soul the comfort and support that was out of her reach here on earth. My heart goes out to all parties involved. It all just seems so complicated! Why doesnt rehab rehabilitate?
