WOW … the following most bizarre and disturbing story is being touted as a revenge murder by Brigette Harris after years of torment and sexual abuse. The mutilated body of 55 year old Eric Goodridge, Brigette Harris’ step father, was found in his Queens, NY home dead. Talk about an extreme to what goes around comes around.
According to the attorney of Brigette Harris, she suffered from years of sexual abuse at the hands of her “monster” step father.
A man strangled and castrated in the apartment of his daughter – a young woman whose online identity was the “Original Dark Angel” – was an incestuous “monster” who allegedly sexually abused and raped his child from the time she was 3, her lawyer claimed yesterday.
The explosive claim from Arthur Aidala, the lawyer for Brigitte Harris, 26, came as she remained under 72-hour hold at Bayley Seaton hospital in Staten Island. (NY Post)
As Fox News reported, “On Monday, police were investigating whether Eric Goodridge’s mentally disturbed stepdaughter lured him to her home and attacked him there to avenge a history of sexual abuse”.

If he did that to that liitle girl, well then, what use is he to society anyway?
Guess he got what he deserved!
If the laws would allow the children to do this to thier predators then we may have less of this horrid abuse. I think he got what he deserved!

I hope that she gets off. it’s sad what he did. But kharma is a weird thing, I don’t feel any remorse for him. I feel bad she went through it for so many years. She needs help for sure some serious therapy. Not jail!!!!!!! He got what was coming to him.
I agree Tia, he got what he deserved and they should not prosecute her.
What is really surprising is that this doesn’t happen more often. I bet the number of survivors would be shocking. And then wonder how many of them contemplated exactly what happened in this case. Who could blame them?
Society failed this child.
She only did what thousands of women would like to do. Women out there you must convict and stop the cycle. Others may not cope as well as you, they may be another Brigitte. If this happened every week men would still abuse. We have to remove them from society.
Brigitte needs counseling for the next year, not jail. She has so much more to deal with now I just pray she lives through it.

This is so incredibly tragic. She really does need good psychiatric attention, NOT jail. I hope somehow she finally gets a little of the justice she’s been denied her whole life.
For those who said they’re suprised it doesn’t happen more often, well I’m not suprised at all. While child sexual abuse is so horribly common and happens so much, the very nature of the abuse takes away the belief that the victim can do anything about it. Even abusers who grow old and infirm, they still strike fear (or at least paralysis) in their victims.
This is a very unusual case, but as everyone’s already said, the monster had what was coming to him. I just wish more girls/women would speak up.
Ultimate tragedy here: the girls DID speak up, and still nothing happened. I hope someone listens when others speak up – listens and ACTS!
He got what he deserved. I just hate to see how the government doesn’t do more to represent children better. Sexual abuse is horribly common, even ubiquitous, and it seems as if only the victims are left to fight for themselves.
so what happen to her did she beat the charges.
What this young woman has gone through is unimaginable and whilst I do not condone violence it was obvious that she did what she did to protect her sisters children I have been a fostercarer for 22 years and know what devastation abuse causes I am now an active campaigner for childrens rights and have two groups on facebook Make sex offender lists public and Childrens Voices let them be heard I hope Brigitte is released early Maggie Dean
I’m so glad she did what she did. She had to break the cycle some how. As soon as she saw her niece on her fathers lap , that’s wen she snapped an wen he said he was taken her nieces to africa Bridgette new she had to do something before her niece experience this horrible tragedy that she experience all these years with her own sister.
