Mother Throws Children Off Pier To “Send To Heaven” Aquittted of Murder Charges

LaShuan Harris, a woman whom San Francisco Child Services let keep custody of her 3 children after repeated stays in a psychiatric hospital and against her families wishes, killed her children by throwing them off a pier. Her family asked the city not to give her custody, but after doing she murdered them saying God told her to make a human sacrifice.

Now the madness of it all, a jury in the same San Francisco has aquitted her of first degree murder charges and convicted her of assualt. First, we have a jury that may or may not have a clue on how to deal with this situation. Hopefully they will come back with a verdict on second degree murder and she will remain behind bars for life.

But the real crime is by child services. If you have a woman who is in and out of psychiatric hospitals and her family is begging you not to give her back custody and you do, shouldn’t those case workers face murder charges also? The poor children who are caught in these messes are the ones I feel sorry for. Because some of those in power who are paid to save and protect them do not really give a rats ass about the kids.

A woman who pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity after throwing her three children into San Francisco Bay was acquitted Tuesday of first-degree murder but convicted of assault.

The jury continued deliberating the possibility of convicting LaShuan Harris, 24, of second-degree murder or manslaughter. Jurors must also decide whether Harris was legally sane when she killed her children. The assault charges carry a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Harris has been accused of killing 6-year-old Trayshawn Harris, 2-year-old Taronta Greely Jr. and 16-month-old Joshua Greely. She threw the boys into the chilly bay October 19, 2005. Prosecutors have said they won’t seek the death penalty.

In her videotaped confession, Harris described how she struggled with two of her boys as she stripped them and plunged them from Pier 7, where tourists stroll along the waterfront. Her youngest boy laughed, thinking it was a game. One of the bodies was recovered, but the others were never found. via CNN

These “protective services groups” do nothing. They purposely lean on the wrong people, as to appear that they are doing a job, and then turn their heads away to the children who really need protection. They have been and will be useless to society. What did this group do to help these children, even at the crys of the mothers family?

      A BIG FAT NOTHING. USELESS.

San Francisco, this is where Nancy Peeelosi lives and represents. Does that tell you something about this sad city ?

This didn’t have to happen. It could easily have been prevented and that makes me ill. CPS is a joke. Time and time again these kind of atrocities happen. Now they will play the pass-the-blame-around game until the focus is on the next “mishap”. I feel terrible for the family of these little ones. They saw this coming and were powerless to stop it. God bless them.

      Case workers should face charges.

What protective services….They did not protect those children…Their name plate should be ripped off of their building for starters!!

But they meant well, and in liberal circles that is all that really matters.
