I don’t want to enter into the realm of technical secrets, but is it clear how they came to be “lost” in the first place and how they were retrieved? If the explanation is technical, I wouldn’t understand it … but I hope that no “sinister events,” in the words of Alexander Haig explaining the gap in the Watergate tape, took place.
SM: Any idea when the second half of Joran’s book will be translated by Rammstein. I’m sure it was an great effort for the first half.
We have not heard anything since May 4th.
Are there problems with Joran being a loose cannon; is that the reason for the delay?

I would tend to agree that Natalee is not in the Ocean.
My theory is that Rene (the person found around the
Government Cemetery in Sabana Basora) had something to do with moving Natalee’s body. Rene worked for the Industrial Incinerator and the incinerator at the Oduber Hospital. He lived in San Nicolas and probably had contacts with both Mementomori and Ad Patres Funeral Homes. How better to move bodies around, without suspicion than with a hearse. Aruba needs a crematorium because it is running out of burial space? The whole interior is a wasteland that could be used, or is a crematorium necessary to get rid of forensic evidence?
Van der Straaten; “I know more than you do concerning Natalee; I have seen the evidence.” Everyone wants to beat up on Joran to tell the truth; I personally would go after van der Straaten. IMO he is also THE lying crock of Sh-t.
Anyway; Rene lived in San Nicolas, Van der Straaten worked at the KIA located in San Nicolas.
Ad Patres Funeral home is owned by:
Antoine Rodriguez is the founder and Managing Director of Ad Patres Funeral Home as well as an Embalmer.
He earned his knowledge and experience while working and studying at a local funeral home in The Hague Holland and practiced his profession there until 1996. Antoine has also worked as an apprentice at Florida Mortuary downtown Miami where he practiced and developed his embalming skills.
Does he know the same people Van der Sloot knows in Florida?

Today, after months of being accused of having a special deal with Paul v/d Sloot, Yolanda Wever owner of the Funeral Home in order to hide the body of Natalee, or to cremate her or other conspiracy theories, Mrs. Wever denied these allegations.
She has no crematory on this property nor does any of the other three funeral homes on the island. The story about her being involved in any business in regards to the Natalee case is just that some people who wants to create conspiracy theories, just took her name and name of her company when during the days when Natalee was being looked for, her company had to exhume the body of a person at the cemetary of Paradera.
When this happened the initial thought was that it was related to the search, since the DA and the ALE was present. Some radios also announce this as a breaking news but immediately retracted this. Mrs. Wever has nothing to do with the family v/d Sloot or in any case, a conspiracy in the dissapearance of the woman.
I don’t recall why a body was exhumed in Paradera. Robert Wayne Benson was from there; so are the Van Cromvoirts.
Am I blind or does the following link state that there IS ONE ON ARUBA…..

If Aruba found and returned Natalee’s body convicted Paulus and J2K? Would anyone here in the US or anywhere else worldwide ever travel to Aruba knowing about the island’s secrets? Not me I would never ever plan a vacation to Aruba!!!

I went to the archives….interesting that someone was promoting from the beginning the notion that PVDS was behind the disappearance(to pay gambling debts) ….but the thread got taken over by trolls right away, which means PVDS MUST be behind Natalee’s being missing.

Matthews is a manufacturing company dealing in both human and pet burial and crematory equipment and supplies.
The Matthews headquarters is in Pittsburgh, PA.
What you probably have is one of the four Funeral homes on Aruba is a dealer for Matthews. My guess is Mementomori by Yolando Wever. This is the funeral home that Paulus was instrumental in getting it a crematorium license. Whether it has its own crematorium or uses one of the existing incinerators, I don’t know which.
1006, My idea, as you know, is that Natalee was taken off the island. If they find her body in the ocean, obviously I’ll be proven wrong.
To date, however, the question remains moot. Lots of theories, lots of parsing the Internet, but no proof either way.
Observer (#8), I just want to point out that one day after Amy Bradley went missing the Curacao police called her family at home and said that they had found Amy’s body.
Or rather, her skeleton on a beach.
How did they know? Had they done DNA tests, or anything else? Well, no, BUT ….
The skeleton was about the same size as Amy.
Therefore it was her.
Get my point? Part of the problem in the Caribbean is that the police are total dunderheads.
The report, as you can imagine, was very upsetting to the Bradley family. But (an ironic parallel) when the remains were analyzed in the Netherlands, it was found that the skeleton was that of a LOCAL MAN, a fisherman who had been missing for six months.
Now, you might ask what kind of police force would contact a grieving family on such a flimsy basis as that.
The answer is: one in the Caribbean.
In my post #11, when I say “one day after Amy Bradley went missing …” I obviously don’t mean the very next day.
Rather, some time after she went missing.
There are quite a number of parallel points, besides the ones mentioned above, between the actions of the Aruban police in Natalee’s case and the Curacao police in Amy’s.
I don’t feel at liberty to set them all forth … but the parallels are disturbing.
Except I don’t know if Beth or Dave were ever told by a police official: “You go ahead and search for your daughter all you want, but you’re never going to find her.”
The Bradleys were.

Aruba has not pressed forward on any of the obvious issues.
I feel we owe it to the aveage tourist to advise them of the dangers in the Carribean. I for one will never go there.. If I go to Aruba it would be to followup and investigate leds on Natalee’s behalf; PERIOD!!!!.

Well, the bottom line is… unfortunately…we really don’t know what happened. Is Natalee, in the sea, was Natalee abducted, did they cremate her, was she eaten by sharks, or buried in some unknown location, these are all ideas that have been thrown at us. It’s Joran’s game, supported by the players, the gov’t the ALE, the drug dealers and the mafia, each in it’s own way due to Paulus and his crooked connections.
The take-off of Hilter, Natalee said nothing to bring that about, but Joran being Dutch Jewish and his evil mind thought he could justify his crime when he harmed Natalee.
Also, instilling into the minds of the Kalpoes, she thought they were slaves. Natalee never said anything to bring that about. Joran is a sociopath, that needs to be contained, a danger to anyone, and he is probably getting worse. Paulus lives through Joran, in his sick mind he has created a monster in his image.
He has brought so much attention to anyone and everyone that has ever been associated with him. Reading his psychic analyis, your only there for him to use….including Natalee!
Maybe there was some indication of Aruban help, one of the graves that was disturbed was that of a Straaten. Perhaps a message, perhaps a grave robber!
I was going through some tv-interviews of Joran to look for inconsistencies. And what stroke me was the following: On the question who picked him up from the beach he answered in both the NOVA and Jensen-interview: “eh…the brother of Deepak, Satish”. And this is while he did not mention Deepak earlier on in the interview.
For me, something is weird about this answer. Why do I care it is the brother of Deepak? Somehow it looks like a “programmed” lie. Why not just answer: Satish.
Imo: Joran had to lie he was picked up, instead of walking home, because this could help his “lost shoes”-story. Given the time frame on Sunday night I suspect he was not able to move the body far away. So, in case Joran was on his own that night he had to go back on Monday (with help?) to remove the body. This makes i have a special interest for the whereabouts of Joran on Monday afternoon. At first he claimed to be at the tennisclub at 6pm for lessons. But it showed he cancelled lessons and his father already dropped him off at 5pm.
Thanks SM. I remember a number of sites back then that were started and are now history. They had a lot of members, guess all that information is on a hard drive somewhere…Also remember all the attacks when Like the others, SM had to shut down for repairs. Seems like these sites attract two kinds people who want to support the NH family and the ones who want the NH family to disappear.

1006 (#14) … I’m complimented and humbled by your wish for a “face to face” meeting. Depending where you live, it might be possible. But I doubt that it would be productive of any new info about Natalee, at least not on my part.
As I posted once before, my work and friendship with the Bradley family of the last five or six years underlies my idea that there’s more to Natalee’s story than most people are ready to think. Had I not had that background, I’d probably dismiss the whole idea of her abduction off Aruba as melodramatic nonsense.
And of course, I don’t know that it’s true. It could be that we’re all reading way too much into this case. But even given the high level of ineptitude in the Caribbean, there just seems to me to be too much to dismiss the idea that something unusual happened.
And I keep returning to the idea that while Americans could accept that a death or a murder took place in a foreign country IF there had been prompt and effective action, the one thing that would ensure an end to Aruba’s tourism money ticket would be the taking of a girl off the island for purposes of enslavement.
It happens all over the world, and is a multi-billion-dollar business in South America. The subjecting of an American to such torment might appeal to some depraved types in particular.
And even if the reality of such an action is extreme, the idea or fantasy of doing such a thing might have motivated the “Pimps” to try it; i.e., taken Natalee and held her captive for a time, then handing her over to someone. Might it take a psychopathic mind to carry out such a depraved fantasy? Let’s remember what the Dutch detectives said about Joran van der Sloot, and the many reports we’ve heard (anyone who kills his dog, as has been reported, is in some mental condition I wouldn’t care to think about).
I have no evidence for it. As far as I know, there is no evidence against it.
But we’ve seen, aired on the Dr. Phil show, the photos that are believed to be those of Amy Bradley. And there are so many parallels between what the Bradleys went through on Curacao (and after) and what the Holloway Twittys went through on Aruba (and after) that it is alarming.
Let’s hope we find out.
#17…I agree with you, there is no need for Joran to say ‘the brother of Deepak’, well, no apparent need anyway….could have been a hint to Deepak, a reminder to keep quiet about Joran’s little brother. Here’s my thinking on that….the group of lying perps made a pact of sorts to keep Deepak’s little brother out of this mess…in exchange for what? Perhaps in exchange for keeping Joran’s little brother out of it.
As Joran’s little brother goes ….he was at first said to have been with Anita in Holland, and that story stuck until Joran said Paulus had to go home to take care of his younger brother who was home alone (why Paulus left the casino early) Then Paulus says the kid was at a friend’s house, and later he says he can’t remember where his kid was. I think the kid was home when Natalee was brought there or at least when Joran came to tell Daddy ‘something bad happened’.

Here’s something interesting I had saved from some obscure psychic prediction site (didn’t save the site addy) way back when I first took interest in this case. I didn’t know if it might apply to Natalee when I saved it since it was early on in the case and the part about shoes and an older man from Holland didn’t make sense then…but it does now, so here’s what was said….
“I have been having a reoccurring dream for over two years that I bought new shoes and go looking for them in beach water when an older man from Holland comes by on a car that can go through water and takes me away and I never see my family again. If we look further into the things Joran ‘says’ we might find more truth. He knows so it has to come out somehow.
This morning, stopped at my 1st redlight on the way to work, the initial strains of “Freebird” began haunting through my car via local radio. That first line, “If I leave here tomorrow… will you still remember me…”, brought such a sharp image of Natalee to my mind. My eyes filled with tears which I furiously brushed away as the light turned green.
I wish TES the best weather, no governmental or technical snags, and all the clarity of mind needed to perform the next search. It does seem a long shot; I do find myself believing that the VDS family exhibits such hubris only because they are so sure that they’ve done a wonderful job of CYA.
God grant a tremendous bursting of that particular bubble…

Watched a show on Forensic Files last night from the Bahamas. At least the police force was actually interested in victims.The lead woman cop on the case said, the last people to be seen with a victim are always going to be the prime suspects in a case. Woman got a ride home from a bar with 2 men. That night a bad storm like hurricane hit the island, next day the girls body was found on the golf course. The storm washed much of the forensics away. A condom was found but floods took care of that. The woman had been raped and murdered. The 2 guys said they dropped her off at home, and went to pick up their food. They did pick up food it was confirmed. The first suspect turned over his clothes, they were fine, car checked out fine. The other guy said he couldn’t remember what he was wearing. They swore over and over they dropped her off and they went home. A woman forensics expert, took the 2nd guy, who didn’t know what he wore, his shoes and tested them finding grass on them. Turns out the grass is only found on the golf course where the girl was found. He finally cut a deal and said the one who’s clothes are missing was making moves on the girl, he asked him to stop the car at the golf course so they could take a walk, when they stopped the girl jumped out and ran but he ran after her and knocked her down. The other guy came towards him trying to stop him, but he threated him with a knife. The guy then raped and killed the girl. He got 3 years and the other guy got 25. Turns out he had his gf the night he came home, wash his clothes because of blood on them, and he told her that a girl had died that night. She finally talked in court too.
3 guys pick up an intoxicated girl for one reason. Natalee was not a promiscious woman. Natalee had a false sense of security surrounded by her friends and a guy who weaved his way into their circle and seemed like a good guy. Noone, Noone has seen Natalee since she was seen leaving Carlos n Charlies with these 3. Guy went to a lot of trouble above to hide his clothes and have them washed, due to DNA on them. Same reason Joran’s shoes and Natalee are missing? Is she missing because he had no condom? The shoe story is one of the biggest lies. They know what happened to Natalee.
Maybe they can explain this ruling by the judge, when he awarded Paulus O dollars. 2 witnesses suggest a contact between Paulus and Natalee and what was that contact? Was it at the casino. Joran said he met the girls after his father left the casino. Paulus also said he picked Joran and Natalee up at Mcdonalds and took them to the Holiday Inn.
“With attention to the lying declarations that the son of Paulus, Joran Andreas Petrus van der Sloot (hereafter Joran) gave about his last contact on the 30th of May 2005 with the disappeared Natalee Holloway, the suspicion is not unreasonable that he made himself guilty of a conduct that can be qualified as murder, manslaughter, or kidnapping that resulted in death.
The possible involvement of Paulus with that could then be deducted from the file with the official reports of witnesses, amongst which two people suggested a contact existed between Paulus and Natalee Holloway the night of her disappearance, and a tapped report (that was given by the Prosecutor in her final note 1 to the Court). The tapped information and his declaration that he picked up Joran and Natalee by the McDonalds Palm Beach and brought them to the Holiday Inn, are clearly understood by the Dept. of Justice, and could in the judgement of this Superior Court, be considered as an indication of the involvement of Paulus in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.”

Negotiations started in America
ORANJESTAD – The negotiations to put an end to the conflict between the personnel of Valero Aviation and the parent company Valero are currently taking place in the United States .
Iowa , the union that represents the personnel, came with a counter offer, which pushes out the earlier offer of Valero.
Johannes ‘Boy’ Anthony of Iowa told the Amigoe this morning that the negotiations are no longer taking place in Aruba . The American sister union United Steel Workers Union is now conducting the negotiations with the headquarters of Valero in San Antonio . Depending on the results, the union will deliberate with the 15 employees of Valero Aviation about the next steps this afternoon. If by any chance the results are not satisfactory, the strike will continue for the second week in a row.
Spokesperson of Valero, David Smith indicated that the employees are not being paid for the hours they do not work.
Valero says that the company is doing her best to bring the situation to a good end. They continue to negotiate and come with new offers. On July 11th, Valero came up with another offer, but also this one was rejected. They came with another one on July 12th which has two options for a cao; a two-year agreement from August 1st till July 31st, 2009, with twice a salary increase of 4 percent, a one-time bonus of 750 florins, and a Christmas bonus of an average of 3000 florins (based on the salary); a two-year cao with a retroactive 5 percent salary increase, starting March of this year, another 3 percent salary increase starting August 1st, 2008, an immediate bonus of 250 florins if they accept the cao, and a Christmas bonus of 1500 florins.
This last offer is valid up till Thursday, says Smith. He says that Iowa has not responded yet. Anthony indicated that the union has a counter offer and will therefore not react on the above options of Valero. The consequences of the conflict for the air traffic are not big, because Valero has put together a replacing team that provides the airplanes with fuel during the strike. Valero is making extra costs with this, but these are negligible, says Smith. “It’s not so much the economic damage, but especially getting the people back to work every time. They are currently making a lot of overtime.”
