Is Fred Thompson Going to Announce Presidential Candidacy in Nashville, TN on Tuesday?

RUN … FRED … RUN

The rumor is that Fred Thompson will finally announce his Presidential candidacy on Tuesday, June 26. Seems that it would be an opportune time as he is planning on doing  a TN, SC and NH gauntlet.

A source close to the campaign planning tells WSMV that that Thompson planned to announce his candidacy on the steps of the historic Fall School Building Tuesday, but Thompson campaign officials deny that Tuesday’s announcement is an official run for the White House.

But Bob Davis, the Tennessee Republican Party Chairman, and Thompson’s former Chief of Staff says “There will not be an announcement Tuesday.” (WSMV)

Although others have stated that Fred Thompson will not enter until after July 4th. We shall see, but a TN, SC & NH swing seem to be the perfect spot.

There would seem to be no time like the present for Fred Thompson to finally announce his candidacy for the President in 2008 now that Thompson has  taken the lead in the Rasmussen polls.

   I don’t think he will announce until after July 1st, giving him a full quarter for fundraising. Maybe he’s going to announce his campaign headquarters in Nashville’s Fall School.

   Wish I didn’t have to work tomorrow, I would go to the airport to see him.

   I will tell him you couln’t make it Kathy.

   The Demo’s are tossing garbage now so he will figure it will get too rough and back down. The thing is he knows he is clean and they are beginning to believe it.

   Trying to kill him on being a lobbyist and making a million dollars over 20 years. Some of these folks that are writing this folderol make a million in less than five.
   A well paid government employee makes $200 and that is a million in five years. So where is the beef.

   Hillary was broke flat out of Arkansas. Now go check out how much she is worth. It is a false rap one can see through and makes him look better, not worse.

   Honestly, in this mixed up world, I think MSM channels will be focusing on Paris Hilton & her release.
