After all of the woman teach who have had sex with minors and have not had to pay the price, there finally is some sanity in the world as a Maricopa County, Arizona teacher gets 10 years in prison for sex with a minor.
She must have had a bad lawyer.
Jeri Deanne Perez, 38, also was given lifetime probation at her sentencing Friday in Maricopa County Superior Court.
Perez, a teacher at South Valley Junior High School in Gilbert, was arrested on Jan. 30 for engaging in sex with a minor.
The 14-year-old boy was not a student at Perez’s school. He was the son of one of her friends.
Police said Perez had sexual contact six times with the boy last November and December.
Last month, Perez pleaded guilty to three felony counts of attempted sexual contact with a minor. via KVOA News 4

Woman who do this are sexual predators. The law should not be biased, it should be fair. Same prison time should be same for male predators.
They are sick sick woman, can’t deal with a real man , they target children.
You and I don’t always agree on the issues Miss, but this was well reasoned, well stated and aside from the late night comedians whom dumb us down about sex between a teacher and student when its a female teacher, you are correct.
The issue has to be protecting the children until they are of legal age. It doesn’t matter if its a man, woman or clergy predator. Priests, teachers and all around scum bags need to be brought to justice. For too long we have gone after the media’s version of a sexual predator, but we have passed on the Mary Latourneau’s the clergy, the teachers and the priests. No matter the title or influence, they need to be dealt with.
