Well, miracles do happen. It is too bad about the Grandfather. Wish there were more stories like this.

The Kankakee River is south of my locale. It is a treacherous river is places. That makes this more of a miracle. We all thought this little girl would not be found alive.

That is my niece, it was a ride of emotions that day. I live in AZ and it was even harder to wait for news. We had a web of phone calls going from IL to AZ to CO where we have other family members. Thank you God for the miracle.

The Lord is good, all the time! Carol & I were good friends when I lived in Chicago seven years ago (I now live in AR). Imagine my amazement finding this out from my sister-in-law, who lives in VA! My heart breaks for Mike but I couldn’t imagine the feeling of dispare they must have felt for Hannah. The prayers must have been so intense that hour before she came “walking out w/berries”! She is a beautiful girl! Praise God for his faithfulness!!

Hannah is such a little survivor and I’m sure her Grampa acted as her guardian angel to guide her to the rescue camp. Dave Klamecki is my uncle and he will be greatly missed, I burst into tears of joy though after my mom called saying that they found Hannah.

Hannah got to throw the opening pitch today for the Sox!
