Netherlands Television – Making People Beg For Kidney Transplant

Leave it to the Dutch to create the most tasteless television known to mankind. A primetime show is going to feature a terminally ill woman who will quiz on primetime television 3 people who are suffering from kidney failure and are desperate for a kidney transplant.

The winner will get the kidney, the other two will have their hearts (and lives) broken on national television as they know their chances for success are limited. The Netherlands is suffering from a shortage of organs for transplant. In most of the civilized world, there would be appeals to the humanity of people, in the Netherlands it is a primetime entertainment show.

Sick, just sick…

Viewers will be able to advise the 37-year-old woman, known as Lisa, via text messages which of the candidates to pick, the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper said.

The show is scheduled for next Friday in a prime time spot.
BNN, whose former director died from kidney failure after spending years on a waiting list for a kidney transplant, told the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper that the show wanted to highlight the acute shortage of donors in the Netherlands.
The show is produced by Endemol, the Dutch entertainment powerhouse that invented the Big Brother television show in 1999. via  NEWS.com.au.

The Dutch have reached an all time low :-( If anyone honestly thinks the Dutch can or will solve the disappearance of Natalee Ann Holloway, you are sadly mistaken :-( This is yet another pathetic story of just how sick these people truly are!! With their “anything goes attitude”, along with their “legalized drugs and prostitution”, can we really take anything the Dutch say or do seriously?? I think not!! The Dutch are a disgrace to the human race…

      BOYCOTT HOLLAND AND ARUBA!!

      JUSTICE FOR NATALEE :-)

    2. Robert on May 27th, 2007 12:28 pm

I too think this show is disgusting! (And I think most Dutch do!!!) I don’t think it will air in the end and it all turns out to be a – sick – p.r. stunt. This public broadcasting organisation (BNN) is known for its breaking of taboos but I truly can’t imagine them airing this.

    3. Robert on May 27th, 2007 12:30 pm

Forgot! I think it is all about making people aware that there are not enough donors for organs to transplant! So, nothing more than a PR stunt I guess!

    4. sparrow on May 27th, 2007 1:00 pm

Do these people have any regard for humanity or compassion?
There are better ways to make people aware of the desperate need for donors. Pitiful, makes me sad for the people of the Netherlands, and the people who need the renal transplants.

Next Dutch TV hit: watch a hulking Dutch youth assault, beat and torment an American girl.

Let’s get the beer (Heineken, naturally), popcorn and Dutch flags ready. The latter, of course, are for waving at exciting moments, just as at a soccer game.

      Richard | May 27, 2007, 3:56 pm

Richard, I think you speak out of your turn: this “kidneyshow” will not air! I’ll guaranty you that. Even the Dutch aren’t that sick!

Some of you are far to negative about the Dutch people! I’m glad your president and your congres are not!

PS. Let’s skip the popcorn and have real Dutch Cheese. The Heineken is OK though…

    7. Susan on May 27th, 2007 5:14 pm

      Robert,

Go beat yo momma senseless, kick your dog, drink your hinneykin, snort your coke, have a good old time with your favorite hooker, then come back to tell us how tolerate we should be of the Dutch!! Is it a Godless society with no morals?

    8. Robert on May 27th, 2007 6:15 pm

      Susan | May 27, 2007, 5:14 pm

      Sorry?!? (…)

Never hit momma, don’t have a dog (and wouldn’t kick it), don’t even drink Heineken (my brand is Grolsch), don’t do coke, don’t visit hookers.

      Don’t want to argue with you but… Think the US has a bigger crime-rate, abortion-rate, drugabuse-rate, drugdeaths-rate, murder-rate, guncrime-rate…

We have morals! A lot of them are about personal freedoms and humanity (though I can understand that YOU SUSAN are to ignorant to see that). And about God… No, in Europe not 95% of the people are Christians any longer. We acknowledge that not all people worship the same god or aren’t even religious. Therefore most people try to solve things most of the time in a RATIONAL way and not always just by guessing if God says things are GOOD or EVIL. You know there are middle-ways sometimes…

Must stop now… It’s 12.14 am now here. Have a nice evening, Susan.

I want to first say that it is a horrible concept and I hope it will be pulled before it is aired by the Network or if need be the politicians, BUT even though I think it is a dreadful idea and all that, is it worse than airing television garbage like I have seen from US television??

Shows like Jerry Springer where KKK members say the most horrible things about colored, jewish and other people. For me those are shows that are far worse then even this one is. Racial abuse and airing the propaganda of these kinds of people is far worse than 1 dying woman and 3 desperate people doing such a show. Because they are doing something I find loathsome for a good cause, and not spreading hatred for the sake of entertainment like Jerry Springer and several other US garbage shows have done.

    10. Richard on May 27th, 2007 8:51 pm

Robert, maybe you can help us here. On another thread, I’ve posted a story that said the Dutch forensics team has left Aruba. If you read the article very closely, it seems to imply that the whole team has gone, and that some officials are left to (more or less) mop things up.

I’m not sure that everyone has left, or that they might not come back. Basically, I’m wondering what the real situation is.

One person in the Netherlands with whom I’m in contact says that there hasn’t been anything in the papers there about it.

Have you seen anything? Do you know if it’s accurate to say that the entire Dutch team has been withdrawn? And if so, is it clear whether they have gone for good? Thanks!

P.S. … Don’t worry about my comment in #5 … I don’t think anyone could take it seriously. But I agree that the concept of this show is pretty horrid.

And would that be Edam cheese?

    11. Susan on May 27th, 2007 8:53 pm

      Dearest Robert,

You must be an exception to your typical, everyday, average Dutch boy :-) Good for you!

You don’t have to remind me (or anyone else) of the ugly things that happen here in the USA. That type of ugliness happens everywhere in the world. Just remember we (in the USA) don’t have a monoply on illegal drugs or crime. I’m sure our population is much larger than that of Holland’s anyway, so go figure…

As far as being ignorant, I’m far from it :-) Having lived in West Germany in the late 70′s, early 80′s, I saw more immoral BS in less than 3 years than I’ll ever see in a lifetime living in the US!! There’s nothing quite like driving down the road in Vogelweh seeing prostitutes hanging out waiting for their next victim (or customer) or Polizei at road blocks just outside of the kaserne with automatic weapons locked and loaded. Worst yet is Europe’s, especially the Germans, attitude towards Americans period!! Just be damn glad we intervened way back when and saved your whiny asses…

    12. Maggie on May 27th, 2007 9:30 pm

Gross..and I don’t watch Jerry Springer either. I find a lot of what’s on tv today. boring.. or gross.

    13. strayze on May 27th, 2007 10:53 pm

Unfortunately death with possiblity of a reprieve in form of a transplant of a major organ, is a reality of life in most the civilized world. Most of us are not part of this reality, hence the dramatization of it in this particular case in the NL is quite shocking in and of itself. But this is real life. As a potential recipient of a single lung (that is so lungs can go twice as far), I am not shocked, nor would I want to watch the show. Had any of the considerable monies I paid out over the years for routine medical care ever picked up my non-COPD, non-smoking-related condition, I would not need a transplant today, for there is no other treatment or relief available. But our system’s docs only seems to pick up those within the 80% with cookie cutter common problems.

    14. Joanie on May 27th, 2007 11:08 pm

If America did something like this, there would be outrage around the world. If it wasn’t for SM, I’d never know about this insanity. How do these governments and/or broadcast stations get away with this? Next thing ya know, they will have a reality show, all about the Sloots, Kalpoes and their daily lives. Excuse me; I believe I just made myself ill.

    15. Joanie on May 27th, 2007 11:48 pm

Strayze; I am sorry you are suffering from illness. I have gone through my own battle with illness in 2004. Left me partially paralyzed. What I don’t like about the concept of this proposed show is taking something that should be so private and making a commercialized series out of it. With my West Nile Virus, I didn’t want a TV series made out of it. I did several interviews to educate people about mosquitos and this illness. That was also MY decision. Maybe – just maybe, this show would open peoples eyes to the reality of illness and transplants. However, so far, the description of the show sounds more tabloid than educational. Stay strong and I hope the best for you.

      Hi Richard,

Well I have looked at it in some papers and on some sites when I read that news on Scared Monkeys some days ago but I couldn’t find anything either. So no news overhere.
I’m very curious about what’s going in this stage in the investigation so I have my eyes wide open constantly concerning this lately.

      Susan | May 27, 2007, 8:53 pm

Off course I meant “crimes per capita”
About your European experiences: In my opinion most people on this earth understand that the US is the most important FREE nation there is – even if they won’t admit it openly.
I saw the American, Canadian and soldiers from some other countries, parade through our town on militairy vehicles from the WOII waryears at the 50 year-commemoration of WOII in 1995. Even in their seventees and eightees these were strong, though and proud guys. And they were applauded BIG! (And they all totaly shined and showed how proud their were as they recieved that applause!) And many dutchies, amongst whom “yours truly”, had tears in their eyes. Whe’ve given these soldiers ALL the honours they deserve both the living and the fallen. So you won’t hear me “bashing” Americans in general, EVER. And I don’t hear much of that going on. Oké there is critics sometime, and there are some things we do different but in general most Europeans see the Americans as the biggest friends we have.

What I don’t like about the concept of this proposed show is taking something that should be so private and making a commercialized series out of it

      =============================================================

      1. this is not a commercial series, this is a one off show which is aired due to the fact that 5 years ago their president of the network Bart de Graaff (the station was called Bart’s News Network or BNN) died from kidney problem while he was on the waiting list for a kidney.

      2. believe it or not, something like this can be done with some class. But as it is designed to be giving young people something to think about (BNN is the youth network of the Netherlands) it will be in a format that speaks to this age group, but even that can be done with respect. BNN has made this kind of heavy programs before and they were done with a lot of respect and sense of sensitivity.

      3. the network knows it will be controversial and that some people will find it tasteless, but the network itself says that they think that the reality is even worse and more shocking. Waiting for a kidney is like entering in a sweepstakes/lottery with worse odds than 1 in 3. In the Netherlands it will take up to 5 years to get a donor kidney and with a waiting list of 1049 people there will be 200 who die every year while waiting.

At this moment only 2.9 million dutch people are registered donors. If with this show and the media-attention it is generating the level would go up to 5 million, the waiting time for a kidney could be cut in half and it would save 100 lives or so a year. And if it takes a tasteless and controversial show to do so, then the network, the dying woman who wants to give one of her kidneys away and the three potential donors would be OK with that.

NOT MY PERSONAL VIEWS EXACTLY BECAUSE I STILL THINK IT IS TASTELESS AND SHOULD BE BANNED BUT GIVING SOME INFORMATION THAT IS OUT THERE REGARDING THIS SHOW.

Robert, thank you for the info. If any news DOES emerge, please let us know about it.

I think we are all agreed on one thing at least … that the concept of this show (if I am stating it accurately, the idea is that someone with a life-threatening situation is being held up to ridicule and laughs) is repulsive. That would be true in any country and any culture.

    22. Chris on May 28th, 2007 7:03 pm

      Susan,

Chill out babe! I’ve lived half of my life in the Netherlands and/or Frankfurt am Main (other half in USA). I know the Dutch to be a tolerant race of people. I don’t think that this show will get to air but if it does so be it. I’ve seen sicker things on TV in the states. This TV show is the brainchild of a few bad eggs, not the whole nation. BTW: Prostitution in Holland has led to a drop in rape rates, drug tolerance (and it is ONLY pot that is ‘legal’) has lowered the addiction rates. Most Dutch towns DONT have hookers and most Dutch towns DONT allow cannabis (it is done on a municpality by municipality basis).

You wanna talk about morals? Well, the worlds leader in domestic violence (per capita) is the USA, the leading country for drug addiction (per capita) is the USA, the leader for abortion is the USA, the leader for sex crimes is the USA, the leader for violent crime is the USA, the leader for racist crime is the USA. I’d say violence and immorallity is in the US’ nature. And let us not forget that although you guys moan on and on about others getting nuclear weapons, the USA is the ONLY country to EVER use them against someone else!!!!!

      ;-)

Chill out and worry about your own back yard!

    23. Chris on May 28th, 2007 7:10 pm

      Oh BTW:

The sickest TV I’ve seen in the last ten years are the last two elections in the USA.

Regarding saving our butts in WWII, think about the moral question of allowing 4.5 million Jews (up til 1942) that the USA allowed to be murdered before you came and “bailed us out”. But then this makes sense, there’s no OIL in Western Europe!!

BTW: general historical opinion is that you shortened the war by 12-18 months, you didn’t win it. The Battle of Britain did that!!!!

      Go away little girl!

    24. Joanie on May 28th, 2007 7:46 pm

Hey Rammstein; that sounds better. People do need educated. It seems that TV is the best way to do it these days. Its the American Idol Syndrome; more people know who the Idol Finalists are than those who know the 3 branches of government! I have gone on my local news stations out here in Las Vegas to educate people about West Nile Virus. That was totally my decision and the 2 TV stations did not pressure me. Thanks for some more insight!

    25. Susan on May 28th, 2007 8:43 pm

      Chris,

Who pissed in your cheerios and rained on your parade? If I want your half-cocked opinion on anything I’ll ask for it :-) Until then, shut the hell up…

And BTW “Butthead”, we did not allow the murder of 4.5 million Jews. The Europeans did that all by themselves…

      Have a blessed day :-)

    26. windy city on May 28th, 2007 9:56 pm

Chris is still sore about the ass kickin’ the Dutch got from Portugal in the WC.

If the US hadn’t stepped up to the plate and fought the axis of evil, Chris would be speaking only German and broken Italian today.

Hey Chris, If the U.S. is so bad, why is everybody always trying to get in?

Chris, I can understand your envy. Many folks are jealous of the “Big Brother”. Now go water your tulips.

    27. Robert on May 29th, 2007 1:47 am

      Chris | May 28, 2007, 7:03 pm

I’m afraid that if the US hadn’t gotten into WOII the people in Europe all would be speaking Russian now and singing the international hymn of “Socialism”…. The big events in WOII are (a.o.) The Batlle of Brittain, The Batlle of El Alamein (N. Africa), The Batlle of STALINGRAD and D-Day…
And let’s not blame the US for the murder of 5 million Jews… THE NAZI’S DID THAT!!! I think it’s understandable that the people of the US weren’t very eager to get into yet ANOTHER European war…

Dutch show has kidney donation contest
      Associated Press Writer
      May 29, 2007

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – A Dutch reality show that claims to be trying to draw attention to a shortage of organ donors said Tuesday it would go ahead with a program in which a terminally ill woman will choose a contestant to receive one of her kidneys.

The program, “Big Donor Show,” has been attacked as unethical and tasteless. One member of the Dutch parliament suggested the government should block Friday’s broadcast.

“We know that this program is super controversial and some people will think it’s tasteless, but we think the reality is even more shocking and tasteless: waiting for an organ is just like playing the lottery,” Laurens Drillich, chairman of the BNN network, said in a statement.

He said waiting lists in the Netherlands are more than four years long and 200 patients die annually for lack of a donor.

The network identified the donor as “Lisa,” a 37-year-old woman with an inoperable brain tumor. During the show, she will hear interviews with the three candidates, their families and friends before choosing who will get her kidney.

The show is being produced by Endemol NV, the creator of the “Big Brother” series.

A spokeswoman for BNN said that there could be no guarantees the donation would actually be made, “but the intention is” Lisa’s donation would be carried out before she died.

That is because her wish to donate to a particular candidate “wouldn’t be valid anymore after her death” under Dutch donation rules, Marieke Saly said. If Lisa does donate one kidney while living, the other kidney may still be awarded to someone else on a national donation waiting list under the country’s organ allotment system.

Viewers will be able to vote for the candidate they feel is most deserving via SMS text message, but “Lisa will determine who the happy one is,” BNN said in a statement.

Saly could not say how much it will cost to send an SMS, but most TV programs charge around $1.35.

Joop Atsma, a lawmaker of the ruling Christian Democrats, raised the issue in parliament, asking the government whether the program violated any law.

“Is it desirable that public broadcasting would go down this path, and is there no way to send a strong signal that we reject this?” he said.

Education Minister Ronald Plasterk, addressing parliament on behalf of the government because the health minister was ill, replied that there were serious questions about whether the transplant would actually go through as BNN has advertised it – but that there was no way to stop the program from airing.

“The information I have right now tells me that the program is unfitting and unethical, especially due to the competitive element, but it’s up to program makers to make their choices,” he said.

“The constitution forbids me from interfering in the content of programs: let there be no mistake about that, that would be censorship.”

He said that there were practical barriers.

“In every transplant the tissue of the donor and the patient must match as much as possible,” Plasterk said. “The doctors in this program can’t make any concessions on that front.”

There also was doubt whether Lisa’s organs could be donated at all because it might spread her cancer, he said.

“So it’s very possible that in practical terms we’re not talking about anything here, because it’s possible this transplant can’t take place,” he said.

Noting the shortage of donors, he said it was a good time for a debate on the question of what incentives to donate are ethical.

He cited the example of a Dutch funeral home that is offering discounts to the families of people who were registered as donors, and an idea presented by the country’s Kidney Institute to give registered donors preference on organ waiting lists.

    30. Chris on May 29th, 2007 2:08 pm

Well, I guess I’ve been told off … not!

Susan, you start off by saying that the ‘Dutch are a disgrace to the human race’ and then you worry that people don’t like the USA. You’re the reason!! YOU and those like you. Don’t start slagging off the Netherlands if you can’t take people slagging off the USA. If you can’t take a little bloody nose dear then you shouldn’t be playing! ;-)

BTW Folks, I’m a US citizen, so I’ll say what I like about MY country! I’m not Dutch (can’t have dual citizenship} but do live here now and thank GOD I don’t live in the totalitarian state of america. The day Bush got elected was the day I left the country. BTW: If people love America so much, why do you think 9/11 happened??

Regarding WOII/WWII, Hitler had NO chance WHATSOEVER of EVER invading the UK (The British Navy FAR outstripped the German Navy and is today second only to the USA’s Navy. As for speaking German, Ha Ha Ha, I already speak German (as do MANY MANY people in the Netherlands) and if you did just a little research you’d find that the Nazi’s always had intention of maintaining local government and local language so put that in your pipe and smoke it! The Nazi’s were also going to be short-lived.

As for the Russians taking over all of Europe, HA HA HA HA. Not likely. They’d have had massive supply lines through hostile territory and as we know from the fall of the iron curtain, the second any weakness was shown, the native populations kicked them out! And please, don’t make me laugh about us all speaking Russian! The non-russian eastern block NEVER spoke russian, so why would western Europe?

We know from history that the USSR was doomed from the outset and even without NATO would have collapsed due to internal corruption and lack of enthusiasm from its’ own people. The ONLY form of communism that has ever ‘worked’ is Chinese communism.

Regarding the US joining in on WWII the USA was immoral to not join earlier (I never said they murdered the Jews). Since the USA has decided to play the world police force then they have to accept that they have a moral obligation to stop conflict especially if there is massive loss of life. But then I guess that would mean you’d have to step into Sudan as well, but hey no oil there either!!

The USA did eventually enter the war but they didn’t do it for FREE, they charged all the allied nations money for doing so. Britain has just finished paying off the bill to the USA for joining WWII in 2007. Nice!! Moral!! I guess that’s why so much Iraqi oil is heading to the US?!? :) What will Afghanistan have to pay I wonder?

Robert, I guess since your little truce with Susan (someone who said you (the Dutch) were a disgrace to humanity), you’re the best of friends now? Were you in the NSB too? Klootzak!

      Ciao (opps, Italian, sorry!) :)

    31. Robert on May 29th, 2007 4:45 pm

      Chris | May 29, 2007, 2:08 pm
Your story is dumb and incoherent…(“The ONLY form of communism that has ever ‘worked’ is Chinese communism.” Sorry “communism that worked”???!!!??? Socialism.., communisme is an UTOPIA, a FARCE and FASCISTIC. It can only “work” by oppressing the people!!!) , guess you’re incoheren yourself!
No, I’m not a NSB-supporter (National Socialist Bond in the 30′s and 40′s last century); I’m anti-socialism, in ANY form, including the nationalistic.
The Netherlands has good relations now with Germany… Are all Dutch NSB?! Truces, peacetreaties and peace RULE!

    32. Susan on May 29th, 2007 6:24 pm

      Chris,

Has anyone every told you that you are the personification of “fly larvae”? Better yet, that you strongly resemble the rear end of a “jackass”? Could you be a ghost from my “Yahoo Message Board” past? You have a lot of qualities and charisteristics of the Natalee and Beth bashers I met there :-( I know, you are really BENEDICT ARNOLD incarnated, you freaking traitor!! Thank God you left the BEST COUNTRY on EARTH to play DUTCH BOY :-) One less criminal we have to support here…

    33. Chris on May 29th, 2007 6:29 pm

      Robert,

“It can only “work” by oppressing the people!!!”

Hence the quotes in my original post!

Yes, the Netherlands has good relations with Germany now, perhaps not the people ehh, wink! ( You KNOW what I’m talking about, and don’t say you don’t:) )

The NSB reference was regarding “colaboration”, too subtle for you I guess. Je hebt het niveau van een poffertje! Oh well, “if you have to explain it …”

If you want to be ‘bestest buds’ with someone who said you and I have got no morals (included in the diatribe against our country) and that we are a disgrace to humanity then go for it. It would at least be nice if Susan apologized for calling our country such vile things, or don’t you care? Me, I prefer to stick up for MY people (mother dutch, so entitled to citizenship). WE never said those things about her country, but I guess we’re all too stoned and beating our mamma’s!

      Goodluck with the colaberation efforts,

      Susan,

Je hebt een goed hart het had alleen gekookt op je rug moeten hangen zodat de honden er bij kunnen

      Robert can explain ;-)

Anyway, since this page is ACTUALLY about the vileness that is BNN’s new reality program, I’ll break off here out of respect for the OTHER people here. Apologies to the rest!

And BTW “Butthead” (Chris), was your BS written while you were drinking German Snopes, snorting coke, and rolling up a big fat one? You must have been on something illegal coz in post # 23 you wrote, and I quote, “Regarding saving our butts in WWII, think about the moral question of allowing 4.5 million Jews (up til 1942) that the US allowed to be murdered before you came and “bailed us out”., end quote. If your quote isn’t saying the USA killed 4.5 million Jews during WWII because we didn’t get involved sooner, I AM THE VIRGIN MARY!! Do yourself a favor and take your thumb out of the “dyke”…LOL!!

    35. Chris on May 29th, 2007 7:13 pm

      Susan,

Last post for me, you are not worth the carbon footprint it takes to respond (that’s environmentalism for you Miss America).

4.5 million Jews that the German’s killed + No oil = late action

Hundreds of thousands of Sudanese + No oil = no action

Oppressed Iraqi’s + Embarrasment of 1st Bush + LOADS OF OIL = invasion

You do the math and tell me who’s immoral.

BTW: When I lived in the US (NYC) I paid more in taxes than your whole family made each year so who supported whom?

      Bye

PS: Pretty arrogant of you to think that ANYONE would follow YOU around the Internet. But then it’s pretty arrogant of you to complain about the Holloway case when thousands of murders go unsolved in the US each year, some involving tourists. But then the lens only points outwards doesn’t it?

Anyway, off to the coffeshop ;)

Chris must have missed the sanctions imposed by President Bush today against Sudan.

I little less time in the “coffee shops” could do you some good. Watch out for that space cake, Chris.

      =============================================================

the world (and that does not mean Bush alone but all the world) should do it’s best to force Sudan to change it’s ways.

And there are fewer and fewer coffee shops in the Netherlands. Even at the hight of the coffee shop hype, there were only about 1180 for 15 million people, now it has dropped to less than 729 for almost 16.5 million people.

And most of them are in tourist areas (or other areas easily accessible by foreigners like Germans, Belgians and French) because a lot of tourists/foreigners go and use pot (or buy pot) while in the Netherlands.

When Bush is gone you pantywaste’s will still be bashing the USA. It won’t matter who is president, you people hate the US and we don’t care.

      Chris,
You just don’t get it do you… You shouldn’t fight hate with hate, ignorance with ignorance, throwing mud with throwing mud…
THINK and act intelligent! The Netherlands, the Dutch – in general – don’t hate the US and it’s people! >> http://thehague.usembassy.gov/dutch_american_friendship.html

      P.S. Chris,
You should be coherent and get your “facts” right, for instance:
      - First you say that the Battle of Brittain (an airbattle) was the decicife turning point in WWII, next you say that the Germans wouldn’t have been able to beat Great Brittain because their navy wasn’t big enough. You must know that the german Blitzkrieg (for a large part an air-warfare), was the end of the erea of the big batlleships; in the “after blitzkrieg erea” the one who has control over the air wins the war!!! Only with the exception of guerilla and nucleair warfare. That’s why the Battle of Brittain was that important.
      - This year there was a poll about the thoughts of the Dutch on the Germans: a big majority was appreciative of the Germans!!!
I will not go in a discussion with someone who doesn’t get the facts right so I won’t discuss with you any further.
BTW: I understood your remark about the NSB and collaboration… It wasn’t very subtle…

      Sorry, erea must be era.

heehee, but thank you for your concern.

You did it again! Again you deleted my messages. Why can’t you just say that you were wrong? That the Dutch didn’t make anyone beg for a kidney, but that this was just a hoax, a very cunning plan to draw attention to a very difficult subject..Everyone fell for it, so there is nothing to be ashamed of.

Come on, be man enough to admit that you were wrong!

SM:   First off, I’m not a man.   Second, why process a post which only says why did you delete my post?   It’s up to Red and Tom to post a followup story on this.   They may or may not…I really don’t know (klaasend)
