What on earth is wrong with some people? Tina Valdez will never be confused for being mother of the year that is for certain. Tina Valdez was indicted on charges that she sold her 15 year old daughter to 35 year old Jason Carlile for $3000. Jason Carlile then took the teen to Mexico. Tina Valdez told police that her daughter ran away and even went so far as giving police a runaway note.
But investigators say Valdez admitted last month that she sold the girl to 35 year old Jason Carlile who took her to Mexico. Carlile was already facing charges of indecency with a child and possession of child pornography. He was also indicted Monday.
Valdez and Carlile are being held on $150,000 bond each. The girl is back in Texas and has been placed in foster care. (Fox)
Could someone explain how the buying and selling of a child is a 3rd degree felony? That’s it? Are you kidding?
Valdez and the man who allegedly bought her daughter, 35-year-old Jason Carlile, were indicted Monday on charges of purchase or sale of a child, a third-degree felony, said Jack McGaughey, the district attorney for Clay, Archer and Montague counties. (The Denver Channel)
Texas Mom Sells Her Own Daughter
Police say Valdez sold her daughter for $3,000 because she needed the money.
“You don’t sell your own children. Especially, you know, a 15-year-old girl shouldn’t be exposed to something like that. She’s way too young to be exposed to anything that she probably went through,” says Archer County Sheriff Ed Daniels.
US Marshalls tracked the girl down in Mexico, and she turned herself over to the US Consulate on April 23rd.
Carlile and Valdez are both in jail, and the girl is now in the care of a foster family in Wichita Falls. (11 Alive)
UPDATE: Katherine Nadel Accused of Mutilating her 3 month old Baby Boy.
What on earth is going on in Texas lately? Nadel first told police that her baby son’s genitals were tore off by the family dog. Now we learn that she has been arrested and accused of doing it herself with a sharp instrument.
Katherine Nadal, 25, was led away in handcuffs while awaiting a court hearing on custody of the 3-month-old boy, Holden Gothia. She was charged with injury to a child and held on $100,000 bail.
Child-welfare authorities said she told social workers she woke up from a nap March 13 to find that her small dachshund had attacked her son.
But a veterinarian and a doctor agreed the dog did not cause the injuries, because there was no blood or human tissue on the animal or in its mouth, police said. (AP)

You people have no idea about any of this.Thats my mom.I was there for all of this.I know what really happened and why.Of course no one listens to a child.My sister is a selfish, controlling, and stuburn person.Jason is a good person, hes the only dad I’ve ever had.My mom has always done her best to take care of us.She was put under a lot of pressure at that time.She felt like there wasn’t anything else she could do.She needed the money to help take care of me so CPS wouldn’t find a reason to take me away.But my sister lied and said it was for her.
