The Aruban prosecutors’ office said Dutch police who traveled to Aruba to investigate the disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway searched the yard of a one-time suspect on Friday.
Using thin metal rods and shovels, police and forensic
investigators churned up the earth outside the home of Joran van
der Sloot, the last person known to have seen Holloway alive before
she vanished in May 2005 during a school vacation on the Dutch
Caribbean island.
Vivian van der Biezen, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s
office, told reporters gathered outside the home that the
investigation has never stopped, and Dutch authorities are
reviewing the case for new clues.
She said roughly 20 investigators arrived from Holland on June
16th, but that she could not say why they were searching the
property. She did not know how long they planned to stay.
The prosecutors’ office said in a statement that, “the team has
indications that justify a more thorough search.” It did not

this is again proof of how poorly the ALE has handled this investigation. If they had done their work they could have had this result too IMHO.
Sigh, I am pleased they are doing something about this case and bringing life back into it, but honestly, two years later and they are just now noticing that this area should be investigated?! I guess better late than never. I pray it will bring results FINALLY!
The article that Fox 6 had up during their 5pm newscast said the investigators also brought a jackhammer and tents for the search. They also set up a port-a-potty. The only reason I am mentioning that is because I hope this means they plan to be there a while and do a very thorough search.

Hello to all you good people. I love every one of you for standing up for Natalee and our family. If you remember awhile back I ask every one of you to pray for the next layer to be removed, to uncover what happen, and who are involved. We have to be in God’s timing for this to happen and have faith that God is working for justice to happen. Well, this team from Holland could be that break. I ask you to press in close to God and pray for the team of investigators to do the best job they can and be honest, truthful, and for people to come forward that has information, and for the evil spirits and anyone else that are fighting again this to be bound up and exposed in the light of truth and justice, that doors will be open to the investigators and real meaningful facts come forward.

Don’t forget to check the well on the property! Also, if the forensic teams are anything like Court TV shows and what they have for forensics today ~ it seems encouraging ~ I pray, that the investigators will search every single microinch and even the dust particles…cracks in the floorboards ~ put the chemical on the flooring to test for bloodspill… etc.. (been watching too much t.v.)…& every inch on the property!
Are the Van DerSloots living on the property while these experts do this search? Were they (the VDS) given a heads up prior to this team arriving?? (did they ditch the evidence??)…
We should all pray that the investigator’s eyes be open for finding evidence to link VDS’s to her (Natalee’s) ~ disappearence/death… that truth be found..check the car AGAIN~ everything!~

On Fox 6 (Birmingham, Alabama) 10pm news cast the mentioned it was ‘NEW LEADS’ that prompted the search. They also had a sound byte of Jossy saying that the Dutch police wouldn’t be going through all of this on ‘just a hunch’.
Sounds to me like they have something serious on the Sloots.
I don’t know HOW MANY times over these 2 years I thought we were actually close to getting to the truth. The evidence and just plan common sense dictated that all of this was merely a short matter of time for the authorities to solve the case. I just could not believe a few powerful people on Aruba could manipulate a cover-up so well.
Well, here we are again!!! Surely, 20 investigators including so many from The Netherlands can’t be “on-the-take.”
I truly hope and pray this is what we have been waiting for — but I can’t let myself get excited anymore.

Joran’s 3 hrs of admitted raping of Natalee in his new Dutch book had damaged his Internet alibi and upset the Dutch police to a great extended. They raid Antonis’s safe and obtained some plastic cups with Joran and Natalee’s fingerprints on them. The Dutch Police had been granted a search warrant directly from the Queen in Hague overnite. The house search started early in dawn and caught the Sloots by surprise. Paulus just received a small package from Joran which had a CD with some of Natalee’s images and her driver license. Joran is currently missing in Holland and at large. The Dutch police are blocking the borders and make sure Joran can’t escape from Holland.

I think its possible Natalee could still be buried on the VDS property. Obviously it would take time to dig the entire yard. I saw they used “probes” to take dirt samples. I think right now they are studying the various samples at a location nearby and trying to determine exactly where to dig. I think its possible they will be back tomorrow. Dutch detectives did not go there on a whim. They are most definately going on some specific information. I hope Natalee finally comes home. The family needs closure.
I know what cha mean wreck….i’ve been very guarded with my emotions today. As i was trying to keep up with all the posts and looking for pics i saw someone had typed that Natalee’s remains had been found and my heart jumped into my throat. I thought is this true? Please God let it be true! I don’t remember who typed it and was afraid to believe it, not blaming the one who typed it but looking in every direction for any confirmation that it was true. It didn’t happen but in those moments i was crying softly…hoping she’d been found.

VAN SUSTEREN: What about the search of the van der Sloot property? Was that ever done, and was, you know–including, sort of, the cabana area where Joran lives?
DE VRIES: Well, the search in the home address of the family van der Sloot was very strange because the search warrant was made by head prosecutor Karin Janssen, and contained an allowance to search the whole address, “Montanja nineteen.” So, the gardens, the buildings–everything. But, when the police was on the spot, another high-ranking employee of the Justice office–it was Mr. Bob Witt–reduced the search warrant to only the room of Joran–and that was very strange.
I am trying not to get my hopes up and can only imagine how Natalee’s family feels concerning the search today. Almost two years too late keeps coming to mind, but I’m so glad that it’s being done anyway. I’ll feel better about it when they are back on the property to continue the search, and convince me that they’re serious about eliminating the possibilities that have lingered concerning this property. There’s no way I’ll believe a proper search could have been completed today alone. I think about Natalee and her family everyday and will never forget what happened to them in Aruba. I hope the investigators read Scared Monkeys and have read the theory that while Natalee was unconscious she was kept in a small shed (maybe even the doghouse) on the VDS property. I hope that they check every place possible and come up with some evidence of Natalee’s presence there. Then they can use those jackhammers to break up the cement Paulus poured after Natalee’s disappearance.
Greta and her crew showed how they haven’t kept up with the case. I think it was Ted who said something like “How much concrete can there be on Aruba?” Hopefully by the time Kimberly G. reports on this Natalee will be found. Even if she isn’t you know her report will be much better than On the Record.

Some of the things Greta said tonight just had me ready to go through the TV at her. She ended her segment again with the “someone on the beach did it”, and referenced her lowball interview with Joran. Does she forget that even he admits he is a pathological liar? I mean it sounds like he’s made admissions in his book that he and his family have lied about for 2 years. But good ole faithful Greta and her panel are still believing the pathological liar. Common sense Greta – common sense! Joran lied to the police, lied to Natalee’s family, lied to ABC, lied to Nova and guess what – he lied to you.

It’s not very likely that 2 years later investigators will find much forensic evidence on the van der sloot property (unless Natalee is actually buried there, which I doubt) but stranger things have happened. Just remember Who is really in control.

We have seen it all with this case. It is a three ring circus.
Here is what we do know – Paulus has been consistently protected and distanced from this case by his friends in Aruban law enforcement and the judicial wing.
It is very likely that not much will turn up in this search, as Paulus and Anita have probably gone through 100 gallons of chlorox and 10 vacuums cleaning the place for the last year and a half.
All false accounts by witnesses have always lead away from the Van Der Sloot compound.
Finally, even the back of the cop car conversation between J2K implicates Paulus.
However, I am cautiously optimistic that something good will happen from this. However, I am quite puzzled with what has taken place. Paulus was declared no longer a suspect making his home unsearchable according to Rammstein. To return to the property, Aruba would have had to had solid evidence and statements from witnesses and then filed with the court to reverse Paulus’ protected status and get a search warrant. I think it would be interesting for Jossy to determine, how, under ‘Dutch Law’ can a bunch of Dutch investigator ‘cowboys’ barge onto the compound when Aruban Law Enforcement stated it couldn’t be done.
This investigation better turn up something and there better have been ‘Dutch Law’ being followed regarding reversing Paulus’ status and getting a search warrant of his home, otherwise, yes, this is like the F16s — one big show. These guys can poke around with sticks all day long, but Paulus’ home is the crime scene and if they still don’t go in there we know that this was a show. Case will be closed in 30 days.
CURRENT VEGAS ODDS:
Kalpoes being brought in for rape and murder: 5 to 1 (they are minorities and are expendable….plus, Joran stated that Satish returned to Natalee on the beach and raped and killed her….so that must be the truth)
Joran being brought in for rape and murder: 10 to 1 (yes, odds have improved)
Paulus being brought in for rape and murder and his disposing of her body: 50 to 1 (Let’s face, Paulus going down brings down dozens….just is too hard to fathom)
Judge Smid brought in as an accessory: 1,000,000 to 1 (the justice establishment will do everything not to bury one of their own…as it reflects on the integrity of the whole system….better to cover-up for his misconduct).

I rarely post but have been following since 2005. I have great admiration for everyone’s dilligence here at SM and my thoughts and prayers have been behind this site from the get go. I have my fingers crossed that this time they may finally find something to nail them. I still believe Paulus was definitely in on the crime done to Natalee. C
After reporting on Natalee, Greta went on to interview “The Prince” about his affair with Anna Nicole. During the interview he had to pull out a hankie and wipe his brow. He said he didn’t know if the questions were tough or if remembering Anna had him sweating. Totally reminded me of Sweaty van der Sloot from the island of Lieruba!

Joran aknowledges own untruthfulness.
Joran vd Sloot as mainsuspect has written a book on his own case: The unsolved disappearance of Natalee Holloway. A fairly particular fact, about what the press strangely enough is not terrible critically. The fact that he writes seems more interesting than what he writes.
What in the “Natalee Holloway-case, my own tale concerning her disappearance on Aruba” is especially notable is that he labels himself as untruly. “For me lying was not really new for me. I lie more often, it even had become a bit of a habit to me, because it makes things sometimes so much easier”, Joran says in his book. That testifies on the one hand of a healthy self-knowledge but on the other hand also of a morbid inclination to put guilt upon himself: that he is untrue, comes forward already in the police-file, in which he evidently invented tales concerning what that last evening with Natalee has happened. On the other hand Joran untill the end keeps saying he has nothing to do with the dissappearence. Now that he in his book aknowledges to be untrue by nature, his disavowals, and with that all relieving circumstances which he himself also points to, come to stand in a new perspective. Why would he speak the truth concerning one thing suddenly? In the book a complete chapter has been dedicated to our programme. He suggests in this that we could have been behind a burglary in his Arnhem house in 2006. At that burglary amongst files from his computer the manuscript of his book was stolen. Of course we aren’t in any way involved in that burglery. The only link is that the burglary took place at the time of our study into the matter. Moreover, if Joran is convinced we were involved, why then didn’t he go to the police to file against us?
In the above mentioned chapter Joran discusses extended our show we did in November on the affair. Some examples: We wrongfully stated that Joran in the NOVA-program for the first time mentioned that not Deepak, but Satisch picked him up in the night of Natalees dissappearence. Joran now claims that he had already communicated that earlier. What Joran forgets is that both Satish and Deepak deny that they have picked him up that night. So his statement on that point doesn’t realy make a difference. It much more is the next affirmation of Jorans continues lying than it would show any negligence on our side. Moreover: Joran persist in his untrue account of affairs. Because in his book he writes that he was with Natalee on the beach when he heard Deepaks car arrive.
What is notable is that when yet another lie of Joran is proven to be not the truth he already has his new version of his reality ready. That was the case from day one on when he explained that he had dropped off Natalee at the hotel. Only after guarding cameras proved that wrong, Joran said he had not left behind Natalee on the beach. Exactly the same he does next with the “pick-up” story. First it was friend Deepak who’d picked him up that night on the beach. Then as Deepak denied that and moreover from chat – and telephonerecords it came forward that Deepak had remained indeed simply at home, Joran came up with the tale that it had been Deepaks brother Satish. Satish also denies. He says that he was asleep. It indicates that Joran lies about everything, untill it is indisputably proven the opposite. And then still he doesn’t tell the truth, but works magic and comes up with yet a new version of what has happened.
Concerning our revelation that Jorans lawyer Mr. Carlo informed head-officier Karin Janssen, that Joran indeed played a distinguished role in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and that it is up to justicedep. to prove this Joran states that this concerned something very differently. We stated that this was discussed during a secret meeting on the office of counsel for the pros. after office time. Afterwards Janssen in a letter to Mr. Carlo supposedly asked to have confirmed that in writing. When the matter thus was written down, the lawyer because of that became scared and denied the story from then on. But according to Joran this whole thing was about something very different. He says that he himself had once gotten totaly mad after an interrogation. Mr. Carlo then to the head officier would have asked if Jorans could talk personally to his father. A very incredible explanation. If that was the real reason then Mr. Carlo just could have said that to us. Absolutely no reason to remain mysteriously. Moreover with that he would have disproved every other suggestion directly. Moreover a request to be allowed to visit someone is not a credible reason to have secretive meetings and correspondences with the chief public prosecutor.
Concerning the shoe tale Joran is very brief. He explains that he on that night on the beach had left his shoes behind and went to home on foot. Those shoes have been never found. To the investigators he states moreover that he has size 10, whereas this in reality is size 14. He does not mention in his book the reason why he lied against the police about the shoesize, and states that leaving behind the shoes is not a suspicious circumstance. If that had anything to do with the matter, then he – thus puts Joran – never would have come with the shoe tale. Joran forgets that witnesses have seen him with those shoes and that the investigators would at a certain point in time ask for those shoes.
Notable is Jorans affirmation that he indeed was behing the two faken photographs on which he himself is with Natalee. That – for the family very distasteful – photograph Peter showed when he was at Jorans Arnhem home to face him with our findings. Joran then denied he knew anything about the pictures. In his book he now admits however that he was indeed behind the photomontages. According to Joran it was meant to discredit the National Enquirer.
All in all the book contains innumerable forced manners to vitiate dubious circumstances. For the good reader however it only confirms Jorans untruthfullness and that makes him in fact only more suspicious.

I personally gave Greta more credit than she deserves with regard to understanding what was happening in this case at the start. It is obvious she understood very little. You are right, she is a bozo, how could we have expected her to ask the right questions when she didn’t know what they were?
We know that Aruba has extended the two-year “deadline,” so it doesn’t appear now that the case will be declared cold.
And (surprise, surprise) psychopath Joran remains the chief suspect. One wonders what the Kalpoes are doing all this time. Are they the ones who talked? The Dutch are talking about new evidence, new “indications.” They must have gotten something, and presumably it’s fairly specific.
ON THE OTHER HAND … as I said in another post, we’ve been down the trail of rumors, false tips and phony info before.
Certainly the Dutch investigators would know, from their months of reading back on the case, that the full property was never searched. That was such a glaring issue that, if only in self-respect, the search team has to do that.
I don’t think this is all a charade. The Dutch have taken over the case completely, I understand, and had enough info to justify a new search warrant. My guess is that they’re not going to have much to do with the local Arubans on this matter except as necessity dictates. It also seems that they will be keeping a 24-hour watch on the property (they will have at least some people there all the time, right?) to make sure that “unfriendly forces” don’t creep in and dislodge anything.
The real issue, then, is how solid the information is that led to this development. Obviously they put faith in it, and I don’t think they’re credulous children.
Remember, though, they may not be looking for a body. It could be weapons, clothes, jewelry, whatever.
Anyway, we’ll have to sit and wait this out. Let’s hope that the agony of uncertainty that the HT family is going through will be nearing an end.
It will be a terrible letdown if nothing is found, even though we have to keep this in mind. Look back at all the “hot tips” that haven’t worked out so far.
As for Greta vS, I think to her it’s just another story by now, if it ever was more than that. Doesn’t surprise me that she has forgotten some earlier statements; she probably just read them off the cue cards.
I did not believe this report, then went over to Foxnews.com and found the report. Nearly two years since she has been missing. I hope it is for real this time…got to where I do not trust the Dutch.

One has to have probable cause to search a house, at first the police did not give the judge a warrant that had enough probable cause to search the entire property and my words were about why a judge could have decided that.
If the police had made better request for a search at that time, they would have gotten it.

Joran’s 3 hrs of admitted raping of Natalee in his new Dutch book had damaged his Internet alibi and upset the Dutch police to a great extended. They raid Antonis’s safe and obtained some plastic cups with Joran and Natalee’s fingerprints on them. The Dutch Police had been granted a search warrant directly from the Queen in Hague overnite. The house search started early in dawn and caught the Sloots by surprise. Paulus just received a small package from Joran which had a CD with some of Natalee’s images and her driver license. Joran is currently missing in Holland and at large. The Dutch police are blocking the borders and make sure Joran can’t escape from Holland.

I know they state they received a tip, but this seems like a hail-mary play to me. They can’t state they have finished their investigation until they go over the property with a fine tooth comb. They have to find something this time around, if they don’t and leave empty handed, this will be the end of the investigation.
The Van Der Sloots, with the complicitness the Aruban ALE, have a two year head start. After replaced furniture, painted walls, vacuumed carpets, and the contamination from hand and foot traffic, I doubt they will find anything new. However, from the point of view of this being a process of elimination, it’s a good first start. It also puts the Van Der Sloots on notice.
Their next stop should be the crematorium.
I only hope this Paulus punk doesn’t have any coupons to cash in with the Dutch. Speaking of which, whatever happened to the ever so effective Karin Janssen??

Maybe they were blocked out before. I would be curious as to who sold the property, and how they (powers that be) are going to search under a new construction. Help me on this one 1906. I’m sorry; I don’t think they will find Natalee. I hope I’m wrong on this one. I think, sure, she was there; but with diabolical Paulus, she has to be gone; and she has to have been off the property and either cremated, buried at sea, or still in the landfill. Wow! All along I had posted that I thought the Van der sloots buried Natalee on their property, most likely in the cement unless the cement was only a cover-up of blood, et cetera from what they did with her body before disposing of it totally. I’m sure her body was there the time Greta and Beth popped over at the van der sloots otherwise Paulus wouldn’t have been sweating like he was. I am so glad they are finally getting somewhere with a “REAL” investigation and not just cover-up after cover-up after cover-up! I hope all the people involved with the disappearance of Natalee including all the people that covered up and botched up the facts in the case all will be punished for each crime they committed!

The gardener’s observation and testimony tells me that Natalee Holloway will not be found buried on the VDS’ property. Deepak and Joran were in the area of the Marriot Beach … across the street … at 2:30 PM on the morning. Something was going on.

achttienjarige Amerikaanse Natalee Holloway op Aruba verdween na ‘s nachts op het strand

Even though our thoughts were different on many aspects of this case over the last two years, I am so happy that Joran may, and will most likely, be going down. He has been the cause for so many problems and heartache here on Aruba. The island has changed drastic after the sad disappearance of Natalee. You all must know that we arubians never forgot her and that indeed the investigation never stopped. We also never stopped asking why and how this could have happened on our beloved island. You can believe that the Dutch police are very good in what they do. Many cases have been solved in the Netherlands due to their dedication and amazing work. Cases once thought never to be solved. You can be sure that they will bring to light any cover up that was done by whoever. I don’t want to talk bad about our investigators here, trust me they tried, however they cannot tip to the level of experience that the Dutch have. I truly hope they find her and bring her family some peace. Give the Dutch a true chance and believe that one day she will be found. Joran is to blame and he will pay you can be sure of that

Here a site with yet another (radio-)interview I found on the bookrelease. For a big part wordly the same as some of the other interviews recently. “Wrote it as a form of therapy bla bla.., didn’t want to write it to defend myself bla bla.., didn’t spare myself bla bla.., left her at the beach because I had no condoms and had to go to school the next day, had a girlfriend, my parents didn’t know, bla bla…
New in this interview (and apparently in the book): he says that visiting the porn-sites after he came home speaks well for him (…) because “you must be very sick to do so after you’ve just killed someone”. (Indeed you’re very sick Urine!)
Next he accuses Beth Twitty for having a “tunnelvision on him as a suspect”.
Another thing: In the book he’s apparently proud of his poker-talents; the interviewer replies: so you are very good at bluffing and lying… Joran: … Yes, but for me the most important thing is that the people I need believe in me otherwise I would BREAK (…).
Other question: Why do you think you haven’t convincend the just.dep. on Aruba your innocent. Joran: Mainly because of my first ly that I dropped Natalee of at the hotel… (Yeah right….)
Interviewer: What about your father saying: No corpse no conviction? Joran: My father is a law-professional and just wanted to explain me how the law works…
Other questions: Was this the biggest mistake you ever made? Joran: (bit hessitant) yes… Where is Natalee: Propably not alive and not on Aruba otherwise she would have been found… Why did you portrait Natalee so badly in your book? The police told these bad things about her…
What would you do if Natalees body was found on Aruba and traces of you were found on it? Joran: I’m convinced she no longer on Aruba after all that searching that’s been going on – He suggests that there’s still a little chance that she’s in Venezuela…
Nor in the Netherlands nor on Aruba he’s treated in a bad way untill now. The only thing is that some tourists on Aruba take pictures from him.
He thinks his future LIES on Aruba….

After viewing the photos that Carpe provided, I’ve concluded that Paulus initiated the search. In one of the photographs, you can see him in a white pull-on garb standing beside someone with a hair net on. It appears that this person has some piece of equipment that requires wheels to move. My guess is it is ground penetrating radar.
He finally removed everything he felt would be a problem for himself or Joran, and now he has invited them in. He had a judge buddie there just in case.
The news media drives me crazy. They keep talking about, “they wouldn’t go through all the trouble of putting up a tent if they weren’t serious-B.S.”
First of all, it’s just a pop-up type canopy. Any second class Boy Scout could put one up in 10 minutes. It’s there for the dogs. The dogs. You can’t buy one for less than $10,000, and that’s only moderately trained. You put thousands and thousands more getting them trained, and to make matters worse, the dog lives with you and you learn to love it more than your own family. They take the dog’s temperature continually to monitor dehydration, and they are treated better than any top-ranking dignitary would be.
So where are we-full circle to Zero. Sorry, I know I’m negative. The whole thing is a wash. A white wash-just like the rocks.

Yes … searches were conducted in the air; on the land and under the sea. However … A full search was never conducted at the residence of two of the main suspects. Paulus and his black robed buddies had made Paulus and his property untouchable through adding layers to the legal onion.
Karin Janssen writes a letter stating there is no evidence against Paulus and he is no longer a suspect.
Judge Smid writes an order using Karin’s letter to declare Paulus no longer a suspect.
Judges then award Paulus $30,000 for his trouble — further adding a layer to the onion.
Aruba tells us Paulus and his property is untouchable.
Now, a bunch of Dutch cowboys come to the island and are suddenly granted full access to poke around with sticks??? Paulus shows up in the morning and does not protest??? Paulus does not file in court because these cowboys are violating ‘Dutch law’?
It seems to me that the only way to gain access to the property in the matter that the Dutch cowboys have, is to 1) reverse all legal layers of the onion and once again make Paulus a suspect (he clearly is a suspect after the last legal ruling stating his timeline was FUBAR for that evening); or 2) Paulus, after cleaning – and luminol testing himself – the place for two straight years invited them onto the property to end all doubts.
So, what is it Aruba….is Paulus a suspect again and the Dutch Cowboys spent the last week reversing decisions? Or is Paulus staging the final episode in the cover-up?

The story about the girl being asked by DKalpoe to give him an alibi is seriously wrong. This is NOT what happened.
Greta must still be inclined to believe Joran as last night she kept mentioning the Kalpoes. She wants them to be the guilty ones. Why the hell does she want Joran to be innocent? I mean we all do because that would mean Natalee would be home where she belongs but WHY is she willing to throw the Kalpoes under the bus but not the tall sporter?
She mentioned the Honda also. She herself filmed the Honda after it was returned to them, she knows but will not tell you what condition the car was in when she saw it. Again I wonder why?

You are right. I’ve looked at this new picture and every detail is the same, with the exception of the missing houses. I got it off another site, that is completely convince that Joran is guilty. (Me too!)
Difference is-they have completely altered evidence to make him seem guiltier. I know that sounds strange coming from me, but I just hate being mislead. I picture the sloot house as being completely isolated with no homes around because the only picture I had did not show any houses. The picture reminds me of the grassy knoll in Dallas where parts have been blocked out.
Just in case someone might get the wrong idea about how I feel about Joran’s involvement in Natalee’s disappearance, I think (in the words of Dompig) “He is guilty as hell”. And make that Hell-with a capital H.

Another test of whether the Dutch Investigators are sincere, or this is just is just more acting:
It has been stated that Koen Gottenboes spent the night of May 30th, 2005 at the Sloot property. Koen is the Kato Kaelin of this case.
Koen was whisked off of the island before Aruban investigators interviewed him. Aruban investigators have made no efforts to bring him in for questioning.
It was rumored around Aruba that Koen was suffering from bedwetting and spent night sleeping in his mom’s bed due to either his guilt pangs or shock at what he saw.
Very simple questions:
Have the Dutch interrogated this key witness?
If not, why not?
If not, how can you close a case when a key witness was never interviewed?
I truly hope that the Dutch investigators know what they are doing and are sincere….but remain skeptical that this is just more ‘F16 theater’ to satisfy the media and the American public that they did everything possible. I hope they understand the ramifications to Aruba and Aruban tourism if they do not expose the corruption, cover-up, and take down those involved.
Aruba will recover quicker if all is laid out and exposed and those with dirty hands are dealt with. It will suffer for the next 20 years or more if the Dutch investigators choose to ‘repeat the party line’.

These are two key witnesses. ‘Marco’ lawyered up with the top defense attorney in Europe when Aruba began to ‘breath’ in his direction. ‘Marco’, though protesteth too loud by hiring the top defense attorney in Europe.
Why haven’t the Dutch interviewed ‘Marco’ and Koen? Both were allowed to ditch Aruba without being questioned.
I again fear that these current events (the VDS property search) do not pass the ‘smell test’ and are ‘F16 Theater’. Key witnesses are being ignored or are lawyering up with the top attorneys in Europe.

Sorry Richard. Can’t agree with you as far as Greta goes. That infomation about the judge changing the search warrant is to big to forget. It shows that Aruba was covering up this case right from the beginning. I didn’t know this fact until Bill O’Reilly mentioned it to Geraldo a few months ago. Geraldo didn’t know either. I e-mailed Greta numerous times. About this fact. Over the last two days. Does she read my e-mails? Someone does. Because I have made her blog. And I have gotten numerous responses from someone in her office. We will see Monday if she changes her wording. And explains to the public why the search is taking place now. And not 2 years ago. I also have another beef with her. Forget about her fluff interview with Joran that helped cripple the Boycott Movement. Forget the fact that she mention that she believed Joran? Forget about the fact that she let’s Taco Joe run amock on her show. By spinning the truth. Jossy asked her to put him on after Taco Joe so he could expose his spins. Does she do that? NO she doesn’t. Whenever O’Reilly speaks about the case. He calls it a coverup. He says that Aruba never wanted to solve this case. Greta never opens her mouth. When she refers to the investigation she says words like mistakes were made. The police Blundered???? HUH??? Greta’s actions speak sabotage.

On the caption of this photo ~ mentioning using rods, and also digging up the dirt around the property… How about the cement too…looks like a lot of concrete to jackhammer ~ did they think of that?
I don’t think her body’s there.. I think evidence linking him and others is there ~ keep digging and smash that darn concrete, remove every single inch of turf, take the house apart microinch, by microinch, even if you have to tear it down, piece by piece… camp out ~ do whatever you have to do ~ to resolve this ~ and if there are 97,000 inhabitants on Aruba ~ why doesn’t just everybody show up in person at the Van Der Sloot’s home, the Court steps ~ Police Station… have a peaceful demonstration and demand a truthful answer, the recovering of Natalee’s body to let her come home. (I’m sure, some would have to recuse themselves for their covering up the crime)… enough already… the Island has suffered, yes, but Beth and her family have suffered, and endured what no $ will ever bring back ~ their loving daughter ~ bless them.

Indeed the searches didn’t stop at the house. From what I understood is that they are pretty certain that something will be found. If it will be remains or clues we don’t know for sure. What I can tell you though is that everybody on Aruba is looking forward ho hear that Joran is indeed guilty. His dad is totally concerned and you can see and hear the doubts that has surfaced for him. Is he finally beginning to doubt his son or does he know something and is affraid that it will be uncovered?? I am in part sorry if her remains are found, deep down we all hoped that she will be alive, however after such a long time, the chances are very slim. I want to see Joran go down, he lives his live like nothing ever happened and he never suffered the consequences of his action. However we arubians indured so many insults and hatred becuase of him. I will try to keep posting if there is more updates.
