Public or Private School … Makes no Difference, Teacher Linda Sinha Convicted of Sex with Students

This story is becoming like a broken record, teacher charged with having sex with students. This time at a prominent Manhattan private school.

A headmistress and teacher at an exclusive private Manhattan Montessori school, accused of having sexual relations with two young teen students, was convicted Thursday of sodomizing one of them when he was 13.

Lina Sinha, 40, showed no emotion as the jury foreman reported a partial decision of 11 guilty and two not guilty verdicts on various other charges. The jurors had reported earlier they were deadlocked on the six rape counts against her.

Assistant District Attorney Rachel Hochhauser told the judge her office intended to retry Sinha on the six rape counts. (Fox)

Take the keys and locker her up.
I hope they don’t let her go with probation. These women are predators also

I’ve long thought this, and now I’m going to call it Richard’s law: the more money that gets thrown at something, the worse the results tend to become.

We see it in government, the entertainment world, the ethics of corporate finance and Wall Street … and now, with teacher salaries and education spending spiraling ever-upward, here’s what we’re getting?!

I’ve read recently that adults are being encouraged to go back to school. I’m beginning to wonder about the motive….

I am going to say this and I know that I will be flamed, but this is all about control. These woman are in control of the relationship (for term of a better word). If they hooked up with a man of their own age, the would be equal and that’s not what they want. They want control..like predators.

    5. WTF on March 30th, 2007 3:33 pm

I just want to know when the law is going to catch up and start sentencing women on par with men who commit the same crime??

      WTF

When the judgeys stop looking at this crime as DIFFERENT
Some men that I have talked to think these kids are LUCKY, having a teacher, kids dream, right. Well I think the judges think the same thing.

I am thinking that pretty soon this will all come home to roost, when some lawyer, defending a male predator, says it is illegal to discriminate against my male defendant.

That is what the judges are doing, discrimination.
