Tony Snow, White House Spokesman, Cancer Has Returned … Pray for his Quick Recovery

Tony Snow, White House spokesman and former Fox News contributor is having surgery to remove a cancerous growth that has emerged in his pelvic region. It is regretfully being reported that his colon cancer has matasticized  to his liver.

Tony Snow has always been a straight shooter and a breathe of fresh air as White House spokesman. Say a prayer for Tony Snow and his family.

I heard on the news today. I am hoping and praying.

I like Tony Snow, I agree he is a straight shooter.

Tony you can beat this too.

As one who has followed Mr. Snow’s career from colummist to radio host to television host, I have always admired his work and respected his opinions on a variety of subjects. He always offered calm and reasoned analysis (and sanity) in the world of “hate” politics.

In fact, it is my opinion that hiring him as White House Press Secretary was one of the best things President Bush could do in order to provide effective communications between the White House and the American public.

I am beyond sad that such a fine person has to now fight another battle with cancer – this time with results so uncertain – but I’m sure he will fight the fight with the same grace and dignity that he has demonstated in the past, assisted by his very loving family.

What a shame this has to happen to one of America’s truly “good guys”.
