30,000 Eagles Gather To Counter Protest Anti-War Demonstration
If you are expecting the media to cover the counter protest by the Gathering of Eagles in Washington DC yesterday fairly, or at all, you are sadly mistaken. However, go take a look at Michelle Malkins site where she has an amazing wrap up on how 30,000 great Americans have come together to celebrate our country and support our soldiers.

What a great picture. Those guys and their fellow protestors and our guys over in Iraq know what it is all about. I am afraid that we will not find the likes of those two groups for a long time.
I think that picture says it all, what will happen to those who want to be part of a democratic society? We all know that they will come here to the USA with a vengence.
Thank all the soldiers past, present and future, for our freedoms.
Support your soldies, support your president, support your congressional leaders. They go on TV and blah, blah, blah you to death, but they all know in their hearts that we need to be there to keep terrorism out of our contruy. Even Hilliary now says, if elected troops will stay until at lleast 2009.
This is war and the war in on our ideals in this country. We need to protect it for the sake of future generations.
now that nobody carries much on natalee, i’ve gone back to only watching fox news because they give you the news, the 3 major networks, and cnn and msnbc only give their left-wing liberal version of the news.

Hey Dennis, hopefully someday (SOON) those gang raping, murdering sons of b*tches responsible for Natalee’s disappearance (including dear old dad) will be tortured, forced to break their silence, and JUSTICE FOR NATALEE will finally be served :-):-)
As far as the anti-war protesters and those patriotic souls courageous enough to make a stand against morons like Cindy Sheehan, Jane Fonda, etc, WHOA!! GO USA, kick the terrorists arses and free Iraq from them…
That picture says it all…
30,000, eh?
The only count for this event came from the National Park Service… or so sez the echo chamber. But there’s a wee problem there. See, the NPS don’t play that game no more.
From an article in The National Review:
—The dam broke in 1995, the year Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan staged his Million Man March–which looked a lot like 400,000 to the Park Police. Farrakhan cried racism and threatened to sue the federal government. And, when ABC News hired a respected Boston University professor by the name of Farouk El-Baz to look over the Park Service’s numbers, it looked like he might have a legitimate gripe (if not much of a legal case). Working from Park Service imaging but with more accurate assumptions about population density, El-Baz generated an estimate of roughly 800,000, with a margin of error of 20 percent. Before long, the Park Service was asking El-Baz how to improve its techniques. But, when he said that a truly accurate estimate would require a multimillion dollar investment in fixed-wing aircraft and digital cameras, Congress balked and yanked the Park Service out of the counting game altogether.—

Uh-oh.
So much echo that we seem to have missed the source on this one.
Keep on keepin’ the faith, brothas.
