No Tigger By the Tail … No Charges Filed Against Tigger in Punching Incident at Disney
The Florida States Attorney has said that there will be no charges filed against “Tigger.” Michael J. Fedelem, the actor who played Tigger at Disney was accused by a NH teen of intentionally striking him. The much played video evidence appeared rather weak. The accusations of a Tigger slap seemed more like an opportunity for a frivolous law suit.
The district attorney said he believes Jerry Jr. instigated the incident. He also questioned the Monaco’s reaction to the situation. “The family didn’t react like they wanted justice, they reacted like they wanted cash.” (Thrill Network)
Tigger is free to bounce away, because Tiggers are wonderful things …
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Criminal charges will not be filed against a Disney employee accused of hitting a teenager while in costume as the Winnie the Pooh character “Tigger,” authorities said.
The State Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that it will not press charges against Michael J. Fedelem. Prosecutors made the decision after reviewing a complaint from New Hampshire resident Jerry Monaco.

Finally, common sense prevails. Florida, you surprise me sometimes.
Wasn’t really a slap or a punch…more like a swat like you do to get rid of a pest
The cat is innocent. I never doubted it.
If Tigger didn’t hit…
You must acquit! IT’S REEEE-DIKOROUS.
Absolutely Redikorous!
He was framed, Winnie’s a punk!
We have taped phone calls revealing where
they were planning to make the Honey Pot drop.
I so agree, Carpe! Isn’t it a Small World after all? Let’s Pooh Pooh these Mickey Mouse lawsuits and focus on global problems like Towers of Terror(ism) and Perverts(!?) of the Caribbean. Too many Goofy Cinderellas in the news.
