Jane Fonda … Hanoi Jane, You’ve Come a Long Way Baby … From Vietnam to Iraq … Still Aiding the Enemy
Hanoi Jane is back to her old tricks … aiding and comforting the enemy.
With Jane Fonda, its a different time but the same message. Please do not tell us that you support the troops, but not the war. That is an old and tired talking point. Not much has changed for Jane Fonda since Vietnam.
How dare they! I served in the central highlands of Vietnam. We were defending a bunker while North Vietnamese and Viet Cong rockets, mortars and sappers were lighting up our firebase. As daylight arrived, the enemy disappeared and we were able to take care of our dead and wounded. That’s when I noticed a newspaper in our bunker with a photo of a smiling Fonda as she straddled an anti-aircraft gun in North Vietnam, a gun that had been used to shoot down our planes. She was doing more to harm our troops than the rockets and mortars that had been raining down on us. She was aiding and abetting the enemy!
Take a good look what it means to side with the enemy. What has changed? What is Jane Fonda’s end goal, the same events that occurred when the US pulled out of Vietnam? We all remember “The Killing Fields”.
At a recent anti-war rally in Washington, DC Jane Fonda stated the following, “I haven’t spoken at an antiwar rally in 34 years,” she said. But, “Silence is no longer an option.” Trust me Jane … silence is an option … shut up.
A round of applause for the members of The Free Republic who state exactly what Hanoi Jane stands for and represents.
Before the march, Fonda spoke briefly to a few hundred people at the Navy Memorial. The event was sponsored by Code Pink, an antiwar group started by women. On the other side of Pennsylvania Avenue, three dozen protesters organized by the conservative Web site Free Republic held up signs calling protesters traitors and terrorist sympathizers.
“Jaaaaannnneeeee Fonda has blood on her hands!” chanted one man with a megaphone. (Washington Post)

I wonder if we poll the military if they feel Jane is one of their ardarent supporters?
With Jane Fonda, the real issue at stake is always … Jane Fonda. See Jane speak. See Jane pose. See Jane … who gives a damn? Just another overprivileged Hollywood denizen who thinks that her talents in acting translate into some level of achievement in the “real” world.
I’m not saying that acting is simple or easy. It’s one of those crafts where there are no fixed guidelines, and only an audience reaction lets you know if you did it right.
But it doesn’t mean you know anything about anything else.
Poor Jane, just another passe Hollywood figure in love with her self-image and sense of self-importance. Maybe she used to be somebody; now she’s just a caricature….
Jane should have been tried for treason for what she did in Hanoi. I still remember all too well. There we were getting shot, and she was up there helping their cause. She caused American POW and MIA’s deaths.
Any deffinition I have found of ‘treason’, Jane Fonda meets. As a result of her getting away with such we cannot win another war, embolden enemies need only wait until our media tries to run the conflict by way of polls, polling those of no expertice with rigged questions. What a way for idiot lib media to think to run a war…off polls, and worn, out of the loop generals making a sell out.
After a while the new Fonda’s, Kerry’s, Bill Clinton’s begin their political advancement by way of dissing the establishment.
Treason must be quieted, and media trailing around amoung our troops during conflict must stop (what a pain in the butt they were to us)…military press can amply do for news distribution.
There are times for legal restriction of free speech not during time of national crisses/war, surely there is time for correcting treasonists during war.
Using an analogy I have used numerous times: If the ‘N’ word can be restricted, then by all means treasonist statements that hurt and inflame veterans and those who love our country, who want maximum benifit for the billions $ spent, and who want best gratitude afforded our current troops…well, for them treasonists can be corrected.
Not that I am anyone so bright, but when Jane Fonda offered her cheap appology years back, I sternly said, “no thanks”, like many vets did the same.
One of our own was killed in an ambush on a same day Clint was doing one of his famed protests. Had the absolute worlds largest insult of having the SOB be my president *twice*…can that be…is that a nightmare. And his worst part may be again. (Hellery)
Boast is not good, and indeed I do too much of it. But, (naugh I am under control) during that war many did more than anyone would ever be expected to do, and a sorry scum like Kerry calls himself a “decorated veteran”…I about puke each time I hear that. Really now, who calls themself a decorated veteran? We did our part.
This go around, for the sake of the new young troops, my disappointment goes with no sleep on why no treason charges are getting filed. Please, file charges on Fonda this time.
Pardon the two border patrol agents, jail Fonda and Robins.
58,000 Americans and three million Southeast Asians died in an insane and completely despicable war to prevent the Vietnamese from having an election. Forty years later the same imbecilities are still being constantly recycled.
