Hear What Joe Biden is Saying Now about Obama …” first mainstream African-American who is articulate …”

Joe Biden … open mouth and insert foot again. Are you kidding? There is a term for Joebidensomeone who makes these types of comments. What do you think the Main Stream Media would be saying if a Republican made the following statements? Granted, I think that both Barak Obama and John Edwards are political novices that have never done anything to make them presidential material; however, Joseph Biden’s comments toward Obama are unbelievable.

Mr. Biden is equally skeptical-albeit in a slightly more backhanded way-about Mr. Obama. “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” he said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” (New York Observer)

Hear its for yourself … Audio Here.

Gee Joe … what exactly do you think of the other African-Americans? Okay, where is the Joe_biden-indianoutrage from the black community? How does the rest of the Democratic Black Caucus feel? You were just called inarticulate and not bright by a fellow Democrat.

Read the rest of Biden’s views about Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, …

As The Jawa Report reminds us, Joseph Biden has a knack for making such comments like when he discussed Indian-Americans owning 7-11′s. Watch the video at The Jawa Report. Also at Hot Air.

Update I: Democrat Biden enters presidential race and has much explaining to do.  Presidential hopeful Joe Biden is the proud owner of today’s John Kerry Halp Award.

Update II: Wonder what Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Carol Moseley Braun have to say about Biden’s comments? Hey Al, you can’t run according to Joe. Wasn’t it Democrats that were tired of the negative advertising in campaigns? Joe Biden right out of the shoot has gone negative against his own.

Update III: The Spin Begins, watch the video …    Biden Responds to Obama ‘Clean’ Black Comment

Now that Biden has stepped in it again, the spin begins. Biden in full “this is what I really meant to say” mode. Gee Joe, if that’s what you meant to say, then why not say it in the first place. Biden still doesn’t get it. You did not insult Obama, you insulted the African-Americans that have run for office prior to Obama. Can you possibly be that dense?

I love it he should keep talking. I think an IQ test should be required. The more he opens his mouth truths come out.

So all those African American candidates before Barak were not clean and nice looking or bright? Wonder how the Jackson’s feel about that?

    2. Scared Monkeys on January 31st, 2007 3:24 pm

Yes … maybe a comment is in order from Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Carol Moseley Braun might be in order.

Can’t wait to hear the Biden Spin doctors get out of this one.

Don’t know how anyone else feels … but I have a lurking suspicion that the senators, congressmen, governors, etc. who are falling all over themselves and each other to announce their candidacies for the presidency were elected to office to do a job. Did anyone hold a gun to their head or did they voluntarily choose to seek public office?

Seems to me they’re not living up to their promises. Surprise, surprise. Must smell all that campaign money sloshing around out there.

Well, with every high-ranking politician in the land (serious question: is anyone keeping count of how many announced candidates for the presidency there are right now?) in the race, maybe they won’t get in our way and try to pass inane laws. That would be a nice change.

Never was a fan of this big stuffed shirt. Politics just keeps getting lower and lower and more expensive every year.

From what I hear, and I really don’t keep abreast of these things, Joe Biden has put his hat in the ring; officially, a candidate for the presidency.

One step forward, and two steps back

      God help us.

      Personally, I like Colin Powell…

Wonder what he thinks of these comments?

Wouldn’t we all love to hear his opinion, articulately
spoken with reverence from the heart? Truth is, he is
way too intellegent! He would never waste his speaking
ability to argue with a bigot, even if it made him feel
better. He looks beyond his own selfish needs and does
the things that are right for his country. I suppose in
this case, it means keeping your mouth shut. Besides, I
suppose, he is much too classy to waste his breath on the
likes of this blow-hard and his mindless chatter.

Colin Powell: A true man of honor.

      .

      Hey, Joe:

Keep talkin’ Baby, we hear ya, loud and clear!

Maybe you need to go join your buddies back in Afganistan.
They love women, like you, that want to be held responsible
for their actions. Who knows? A little slapping around
      might do you some good.

There will be no public rebuke of that idiot’s comments…why??? because hes a democrat…

Being a democrat means never having to say you re sorry.

Two simple words…Im sorry…but a simpleton like Biden undoubtedly doesnt know those words.

      Pass the Chavez Regal Teddy.

biden is beginning to sound as dumb as kerry. maybe the dem. party will hiring spokesmen for the two of them. supply them with a ream of paper for speeches to be made after their speeches. the paper can be pre-printed with: “what (kerry’s name), (badin”s name)really said was” ________.

    12. Mortella on January 31st, 2007 8:21 pm

Oh, this is just typical DNC elitist mentality. Those who truly think they are elite like Kerry and Biden show their rank ignorance and lack of exposure to others.

How about Condi Rice? She strikes me as very articulate and is even clean.

Speaking of clean, check out Biden’s plagiarism problem in his dark and murky past. He is far from clean and I despise a plagiarist as they are worse than a common thief in that they are a thief of the mind.

Biden, Kerry, Hillary and others of this elitist mindset truly think they are of a different species than we the great unwashed masses. Someone needs to knock them off their high horses and teach them that they know actually less than Joe Six Pack for whom they hold so much contempt.

And Obama is running at a most unfortunate time with his Muslim name and childhood. That in and of itself is pretty insulting in my opinion. Is this the best the have to offer? Maybe the 2008 election is up for grabs and the GOP has a better chance than I thought. I surely hope so.

    13. Rob on January 31st, 2007 8:39 pm

Mortella- Lets hope that one comment opens the eyes to decades of DNC elitism and gets Hillary Rotten Clinton and her cabal the boot.

Obama in 08 and 12 and 16 and 20… LOL..

hey bud can you spare a square?

    14. Skyboxx on January 31st, 2007 8:49 pm

Scratch Biden from your Democratic list of presidential hopefuls (as if he had a chance)

Ole Joe, stepped on his, er never mind…. Well Joe, bess to pick up dem feet and shuffle on back to Delawar, (in the voice of cartoon character Foghorn) I say, I say senator, I believer you are through!

      Heh-heh.

You know, african americans get get a pass for saying something about another african american. Woman get a pass, and democrats ususally get a pass, but this old boy Biden, for whatever reason, they are going to let him sweat a bit before they let it blow over

Reminds me of something else, when the there is a faux pax regarding a African America, ole Jesse and the good Rev Al Sharpton have not shyness about getting on TV and radio to wail and stump for the injustices thrown upon them by this and that.

What about when someone says something about a white person?

    15. Richard on February 1st, 2007 5:31 am

I once had the privilege of meeting Vernon Jordan, a black Washington attorney and a political power broker. (Somehow the term ‘African-American’ grates on me; does that imply that they aren’t American? Do you ever hear the phrase European-American used? I think it’s obnoxious.)

Anyway, Jordan was and is much more impressive, in my eyes, than most politicians. Add Biden to that list.

Maggie (#5) is right on target: politics gets more expensive and worse every year. Remember what Plato said: the only reason a good man (or woman) would want to be in politics is the fear that somebody worse would be elected.

Seems like everyone is running for the presidency now.

“Ill fares the land, to hast’ning ills a prey,
Where wealth accumulates, and men decay.”

(Grey, Elegy in a country churchyard.)

Not a fan of Biden at all but can’t understand the hub-bub.

This seems like another case of people with thin-skin taking offense to nothing that is of importance nor is it demeaning. Yet thin-skinned people make up the rules as they go along, I guess.

I really don’t feel sorry for Biden one lick, since he apologized for nothing and kissed Reverend Jackson’s ring for absolution. Wonder how much money he had to put in The Reverends’ pocket for that one?

Not politically correct but more than likely correct nonetheless, and honest with my ever so humble opinion.

    17. Richard on February 1st, 2007 1:26 pm

I think the issue is not so much its absolute importance as its revelation of a kind of hypocrisy. All language has to be politically correct, and so do all public ceremonies … no Christmas trees or anything like that … but when these buffoons speak, the rules go out the window.

Someone in public office, who is used to dealing with the media, SHOULD know better.

Meanwhile, a recent article says that Biden said he meant to say “fresh,” not “clean.” Seems to me that he’s only digging himself in deeper.

    18. Skyboxx on February 1st, 2007 5:32 pm

Pretty soon, all we have running for presidents will be Max headroom type characters.

      P P Please vote for me, as I cannot r r run without y y your vote.

But then again, we have Joe “max headcase” Biden

” I I I, J J Joe Biden am running for president. First I would like to comment on my w w worthy oponent Obama.

Let’s not forget this little Biden gem……
“Remember, I am from Delaware where you can’t go into a 7-11 and not find an Indian working there”

Add Biden to the Howard Dean list of “Yeee haww” No way, no doubt, no chance for election!
