John Kerry Decides Not to Run Again for President in 2008
This just in, Massachusetts Senator John Kerry will not run for President in 2008. I must say I am disappointed. I would have enjoyed his personality and sense of humor he would have brought to the Democratic primaries. It would have been enjoyable to see his many different positions on the same topic debated against Hillary, Obama, Edwards an the rest of the many vying for the Democratic nomination.
Most importantly, I will miss not being able to use the following pictures of Kerry in the run up to the 2008 Presidential election. For the man most likely to make a political gaff while speaking … Kerry, you will be missed. I guess Kerry needed a bit more political and financial HALP than he thought. I guess he was a Presidential candidate, before he wasn’t one.
Halp, someone … I need Halp. Oh those gaffs will come back to haunt ya’
But according to Kerry associates, the senator’s plans changed dramatically in the fallout of his election-eve “botched joke” about the education levels of US troops. The harsh reaction to that incident — from many Democrats as well as Republicans (Boston Globe)
Which way is the wind blowing today?

Update I: I thought John Kerry was a Democratic Party Heavy-weight? At least that’s what the media had always told us before?
His decision to stay out of the presidential race reflects a realization that he would have had an uphill climb in capturing the Democratic nomination, given the other party heavyweights who are already in the race … (Boston Globe)
Update II: Lorie Byrd has it right at Wizbang, “There are gonna be some Democrats celebrating today”

dennisintn
Oh there are enough candidates still in the mix for the Dems to make this rathering interesting.
There are only a few who are actually qualified for the job on the Dems side and their name is not end Clinton.
Watch out for the dark horse candidate … NM Gov Bill Richardson.

Turresa cut off his funds. Chavez has nationalized the catsup industry. Waaa, waaa and they were such good friends.
Oh good for Kerry, that will give him time to catsup on his watersports.
(didn’t have anything to do with dissing our troops?)Hehehe
Thank God!
Kerry, Kerry, quite contrary
Where did I go
WRONG/
Yes,SM,I agree Bill Richardson is the one to watch.John Edwards is also a real contender.I think Kerry made the right choice.
It’s harder for heavyweights to climb uphill. It seems like just about everybody is running for the presidency this time around … can’t keep count.
Well, I said before and I’m saying it again: under no circumstances will I be a candidate. So Kerry and I leave at least two people out of the race. America will have to survive without me as best it can.
So this allows the good Senator Kerry to stump for other
candidates…. So whose up for some Kerry stumping???
Anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller, Anyone?
Kerry will be checking his phone ten thousand times a day
“Hey Teresa, you sure nobody called today?”
(heh-heh)
Hoi palloi, SURF’S UP Miss Funicello.
skyboxx … lol
Lovie, lovie … what do you mean I have received no calls? Doesn’t anyone want my “HALP”?

What’s most frightening is the fact the Dems will vote for whatever (and I mean what-ever) runs against the GOP. Could be a fruit fly and they’d vote for it.
I’m 42 and voted since the year I turned 18. I’ve never voted Dem…but have voted for Independents or Libertarians when I saw them as a better candidate. (I vote from the primary all the way through.)
If only the amazing Condi would run. We need her sooo badly, but she’s not interested. Don’t blame her, but she’d be perfect.
