‘Girls Gone Wild’ CEO Joe Francis Sentenced to Probation … Yea there’s some Tough Love
Joe Francis, 33, the CEO of the infamous “Girls Gone Wild” videos was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service for violating federal laws designed to prevent the sexual exploitation of minors.
Joe Francis, 33, also was ordered to pay a $500,000 fine as part of a plea deal he made with the U.S. Department of Justice in September, when he plead guilty to failing to document the ages of young women engaging in sexually explicit acts in the tapes.
Under the deal, Francis acknowledged he included footage of two drunken, underage girls shot in Florida in the videos.
That will show him and those in the industry not to sexually exploit minors. NOT! Previously, Francis’ company Mantra Films was ordered to pay a $1.6 million fine. Does the federal government wish to make money off the exploitation of children or stop those that pedal this nonsense? Jail time might have been appropriate and served as a greater deterrent. That would have set an example. Mantra Film, Inc does as much as $40 million a year in sales. This is a slap on the wrist.
Joe Francis: ‘Baby, give me a kiss’

Tonight we had spent almost five hours in a sweaty nightclub, crowded with 2,500 very young and very drunk people. Clubs like this are fertile fields for Francis. He’s made a fortune selling videos of women who agree to flash their breasts and French-kiss their friends for the cameras. In exchange, a girl who goes wild will receive a T-shirt, a pair of panties, maybe a trucker hat. It had been a typical night for him. He’d scoured the club, recruiting young and, for the most part, intoxicated women. Because filming wasn’t allowed inside, he and his newly discovered entourage had stepped outside, heading for the confines of a “Girls Gone Wild” tour bus parked across the street.

Well, bar owners beware. In our small town, GGW came here, parked their bus in a CHURCH parking lot, on a school day were children were leaving the CHURCH school.
The townspeople went ballistic.
Our town officials had the guts to go into the bar that nite undercover, busted the bar owner for several small violations, got his bartender for indecent exposure, etc.
A hearing was held, the owner lost his business license. He now is hanging out at a bar in the next town. Our town officals did their job and did it well.
Only probation,he deserves more.At least now he is a registered sex offender.
I think he forced his little girlfriend into rehab…

Lindsay Lohan’s friends reportedly enabled the underage starlet to drink at restaurants before her admission to rehab last week.
Lindsay had previously denied drinking in public but an onlooker at Orso in Los Angeles last week spotted her drinking cocktails over lunch.
The source told TMZ that Lindsay rolled up to the restaurant and ordered a cocktail to go with her salad but was refused when she couldn’t show any ID. She then asked for a glass of water instead but her older friends ordered drink after drink, which Lindsay drank.
The onlooker added that after the mostly liquid lunch, Lindsay drove away from the restaurant in her convertible.
In related news, Lindsay’s spokesperson Leslie Sloane Zelnick has confirmed that Lindsay will keep working on her new film I Know Who Killed Me while in rehab at the Wonderland Center: “She will continue working but will spend her nights at the recovery facility.”
She is a sweetie I hope she gets better and stays away from that sleeze bag. Here are some pics of her in rehab:
