Jossy Mansur … The Return of the Jedi … “Tacopina and his Criminal Client, Joran Van der Sloot

The other night on Fox News, “The Line Up”, Joe Tacopina made some rather irrational and unprofessional comments regarding Jossy Mansur and others. However, when one does not like or can do nothing against the message, they go after the messenger. Such is the case with Joe Tacopina. Joe Tacopina’s rant can be heard here. Jossy Mansur’s reaction and full editorial translation can be read below.

In today’s Diario editorial, Jossy Mansur fires back and calls the personal attack for what they were … petty, juvenile and idiotic. In the following comment Jossy Mansur makes a rather valid point.

But, I must bring to his attention that his terror tactics based on slander and defamation are not the adequate road an attorney must take to obtain his goal. For a person always threatening others with the courts for slander, he’s very loose with his expressions!

As Jossy Mansur states in his editorial Aruba … your image was not destroyed by Americans, it was damaged why those who live on Aruba who are foreigners as well.

Three persons damaged the name of Aruba internationally, and to top it all, all three of them happen to be all three happen to be foreigners. Not one of them is an Aruban! They threw a negative light on our with their uncontrolled action during one night in May.

Who are those three people that have caused irreparable damage to Aruba?

• One of them is the criminal client of Tacopina! (Joran Van der Sloot)
• And there are two of them who are even thinking of going to court in the U.S. for money! What do they want, a reward for what they did? A payment for having so badly damaged the name of Aruba? (Deepak & Satish Kalpoe)
  

TACOPINA AND HIS CRIMINAL CLIENT! (FULL EDITORIAL)

I gave indications to the criminal defense lawyer in the U.S., Tacopina, that if he continues his campaign to offend, slander and defame, he is going to get the surprises of his life when the truth of his client’s participation in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway becomes known. And it is coming out at a much faster pace than I expected, thanks to DIARIO and lately De Vries, who’se popular program in Holland made revelations that had remained hidden and have now come out into the light. Tacopina at once wanted to belittle him with a string of lies about his program and, worse yet, about the man himself. A ‘street style’ that will not prosper!

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry – Except When Driving the Christmas Parade Float

When they said the Christmas Holidays were the time to “eat, drink, and be merry.” they were not talking about doing so as you are driving a float in a Christmas parade. David Allen Rogers was driving a float in the Anderson Christmas Parade in South Carolina with children and adults on top when he decided to pass a tractor that was going slower. Next thing we know “people on the float” are calling 911.

When officers caught up to 42-year-old David Allen Rodgers, he had an open container of alcohol in the truck he used to haul the children and adults on the float for a dance studio. Witnesses say Rodgers was driving in line in Sunday’s parade when he pulled out to pass a tractor in the float.

Police say Rodgers sped down Main Street and ran a red light, while a witness on the float called 911 on a cell phone. Rodgers, whose child was on the float, faces more than three dozen charges, including DUI, kidnapping and assaulting an officer. He will have a bond hearing on the kidnapping charge later this week. via wltx.com

No word yet on whether Rogers entry into the Father of the Year contest will be accepted.

Amber Alert issued in Alabama for 5 year old Geontae Glass

An Amber Alert has been issued for 5 year old Geontae Glass in Albertville, AL. He was abducted while in the back seat of a car that was stolen from a convenience store. Hopefully the car jackers will have left the boy at a safe location and just have taken off with the car once they realized their was a child in the back seat.

Police reports show: Joran van der Sloot’s lawyer asked Joran “almost in tears” to tell the truth

ORANJESTAD (AAN): Recently an investigative reporter in Holland made some revelations in Natalee Hollaway’s case during a special program on television, in which reportedly Joran van der Sloot’s lawyer spoke with Prosecutor Janssen and gave the prosecutor indications that Joran van der Sloot knows much more about Natalee’s case.

This show has made a huge impact in Holland, United States, Antilles and Aruba, because no one was aware of the alleged non formal conversation between van der Sloot’s lawyer and the main prosecutor Janssen, to indicate to the prosecutor that Joran knows much more than he has declared to authorities.

 Van der Sloot’s lawyer in Aruba, Mr. Carlo has denied that he had any non official conversation with prosecutor Janssen, and that his client knows more than what he declared to the police.

DIARIO’s investigative team published some parts of the police report made by a Dutch police officer during the investigation, which was an interrogation between the officer and van der Sloot:

“The suspect (Joran van der Sloot) said, as I (“I” is the Dutch officer) heard, that he (van der Sloot) asked his mother to contact by phone his witness Zedan Arambatzis, to find out what he told the police”.
