Mike Tyson Arrested on DUI and Drug Possession Charges
In the “what a surprise” category comes the following. Mike Tyson is in trouble with the law again. The former Boxing Heavy Weight Champion, Mike Tyson, was arrested by police in Scottsdale, AZ for driving while under the influence and possession of cocaine. What a waste and utter joke Tyson’s life has become. Just a perfect example and a reminder to surround oneself with the right people. From the “Baddest Man on the Planet” to one of the “Saddest”, Tyson has become a cartoon character.
Sgt. Larry Hall said the heavyweight boxer was stopped after his car almost struck a sheriff’s vehicle while leaving the club at about 1:45 a.m.
“He showed signs of impairment, and voluntarily submitted to field sobriety tests,” said Hall, a member of the Buckeye Police Department who was working in the area as part of a holiday DUI task force.
Hall said Tyson was placed under arrest after “showing more signs of impairment” during the field sobriety tests. (AZ Central)

From rags to riches to self destruction. What a waste.
Freak show!
Tyson is a fool… an embarrassment to black people everywhere. He had the world eating out of his hand and could have done so much for the betterment of everyone. Only goes to prove that you can take the man out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of the man. I just don’t understand why they can’t just put him out of his misery before he hurts someone. The man is a lunatic. Everyone can see that, can’t they?
Special note: Perhaps before these professional coaches go scouting for our next world champion, they should not only look at his physical strengths but also his character.
Those of us who are boxing fans know Tyson back in the news sets the entire sport back, again. Further back today from a true commission for a great and old sport, a league, for standardization of rules, safety, insurance, retirements etc. No McCain or other will soon run in to help pull boxing out of its 2/3 decades long ‘wacko’s control’. A DUI to Tyson? Maybe so. Back to an all fresh incubation period.
Tyson just doesn’t learn. Maybe he has taken a few too many to the head and should be forcibly retired before he does even more to destroy the reputation of boxers in general.
Convicted felons and those with extensive criminal records should not be allowed to participate professionally in sports.
99 percent of all sport owners, coaches and media care
nothing about quality of a person. They just want t0 win.
Football and basketball are the worst. Drugs, crime, etc
are ok as long as he can play, fight etc.
Golf remains the only honorable sport in the world.
