I think we should also have a special day to remember those in law enforcement who have given their lives to protect and serve. This is something that I would have thought we already have and some aspiring politician should jump right on it for I do think it would be a popular idea.
It doesn’t matter the uniform worn, the giving of one’s life in the service of others always deserves recognition and also the act of being willing to do so regardless of the sacrifice of life or not.
Let’s get in touch with those critters in high places who claim to represent our interests and see if we can’t get a national day to recognize members of law enforcement as well as veterans. More are being injured and killed all the time as the violence escalates with regard to making arrest of dangerous felons.
