homicide.
19 year old construction worker Diego Pillco of Brooklyn, NY has been charged in the murder of actress Adrienne Shelly. Diego Pillco has allegedly confessed to the murder. Diego Pillco allegedly punched the 5 ft. 2 inch actress after she had complained about the noise he was making in the West Village apartment where Shelly’s office was located. Pillco then admitted to dragging her body to her office and put her in the shower to have it appear to be a suicide. Diego Pillco is being charged with second degree murder.
(CBS/AP) NEW YORK Prosecutors have charged a man with murdering actress Adrienne Shelly, who was found hanging from a shower rod in her West Village office last Wednesday, CBS 2 News has learned. Sources tell CBS 2’s Ti-Hua Chang a construction worker has allegedly confessed to the crime.
He then allegedly admitted to dragging the body up to her office, and positioning her in the shower to make her death look like a suicide.
The medical examiner’s office had not yet ruled whether the death of the petite actress best known for her roles in the Hal Hartley films “Trust” and “The Unbelievable Truth” was a homicide or a suicide.
Police had been hesitant to label the case a suicide after no suicide note was found and sneaker prints that didn’t match Shelly’s shoes were found in the bathtub.

i’ve seen her in a couple of tv shows and movies,it’s hard to imagine something like this happening to somebody so beautifull!my heart goes out to her family.this was somebody you really liked the minute she appeared on the screen.
Let’s look at the issue of ’cause and effect’.
1. If our southern border was more secure, Diego Pillco would not be
here in this country and Adrienne Shelly would be alive.
2. If the person who hired Diego Pillco, did the right thing and hire
only document workers, Adrienne Shelly would be alive.

I condemn what this motherfucker Pillco did. Nobody has the right to kill. And I hope justice preveils. However, Pillco doesn’t represent a whole population. It’s just an isolated case. He’s a murder and he just happens to be an immigrant. But that doesn’t mean that all immigrants (legal or illegal) are murders and viceversa.
