George Michaels admits smoking pot because it keeps him “sane & happy”. George, you may
want to rethink the sane part in that sentence. Here are some words of wisdom from the George “my career is up in smoke” Michaels. George, just say no. Better than that … just go.
“This stuff keeps me sane and happy. I could write without it…if I were sane and happy. I’d say it’s a great drug – but obviously it’s not very healthy. You can’t afford to smoke it if you’ve got anything to do. Anything at all would be foolish.”
Puffing away, George said dope was “very good for creative people”. But he added: “It can be a terrible, terrible drug.
“You’ve got to be in the right position in life to take it. You’ve got to have achieved most of your ambitions because it chills you out to such a degree you could lose your ambitions.” (The Mirror)

I used to like George Michaels, but there’s not tooo much music I don’t enjoy, depends on my mood. Not sure what went wrong the past few years in his life. It’s rather sad, really.
btw went to see George Jones, October 1st,,, just to say I did.. He’s 75 now. Was a good show, but you can tell he’s feeling his years. Even bought me a tshirt that says ” I saw No Show George Jones in 2006″ and got an autographed picture. The place was sold out and packed. He too had quite a colorful past. Like many of the artists though it seems sometimes, they are their own worst enemies.

lol MsU..when he did the show he was out and leaving in 5 minutes,. we went outside and was standing and his bus was getting ready to pull out. Has his Big GJ on his Tennessee plates. They overbooked the concert, the place was so packed.
George Michael was a popular British singer 80′s ish.. started out with the group Wham! Wake me up before you go, go. I liked quite a few of his songs. 2 of my favorites were Father Figure and the duo he did with Elton John “Don’t let the Sun go Down on Me”. Saw Elton about 7 years ago. He sang non stop for 2 hours, no opening act. His tribute song to John Lennon is excellent. Was a great concert.

a musician using drugs? oh my god!how earthshattering! a musician not using drugs! now there is something i want to see!does a needle in a haystack mean anything? it’s just pot!!i just saw an interview with him on the bbc,so you don’t have to believe me when i tell you that he’s no cheech,and does not comes over to me as dummy!he just needed to keep his mouth shut about this,his only problem is being way to honest!JUST SAY NO to hard drugs and hard liqeur! but a little pot and a few beers never hurt anybody who knew what he or she was doing,but you know that! you smoked pot!din’t yea?ooooh of course,NOT YOU!i would not dare to accuse YOU of something so vile!
